Anyone just starting the TWW?

I got my positive OPK yesterday so think ovulation is today CD 14 so bang on schedule.

I'm 29 and TTC first baby. On cycle 3 now and already stressed something might be wrong 😭

Any one else just starting their TWW?

Ahh @Alice8688 the wait is so long isn’t it! How you feeling about it? Will you test early?

@Bumpingalong84 it really is 😔 I don't know how I'm feeling tbh. I was so sure last month (I felt so pregnant) But obvs wasn't to be. We'd followed SMEP, used opks, and conceive plus.

This month has been more relaxed. And I wasn't sure that we'd dtd enough/at the right time. But after looking at my clue app it appears we may have. (Dtd 5, 4, 3 days before ov and O day and the day after) so fingers crossed. But I'm so scared of getting my hopes up again.

I'm going to do my best to not test early. But I know I'll cave! So hoping to test (if early) no more than 2 days before af is due xxx

Oh, lordy. So I am in the 2WW but got made redundant yesterday. The worst timing. Now I'm hoping desperately I'm NOT pregnant (no mat leave...DH is still in probationary period of his new job etc...) Don't know what to do. Will probably have to postpone TTC if I'm not pregnant, which I am reluctant to do as I'm 39 in November and really don't have that much time to be mucking around.

Ahh @Alice8688 that sounds like more that enough. Any symptoms today?

I’ve had some milk cramps and lots of CM, think my boobs are a little tender but don’t know if I’m just looking for things now 😩 6dpo!

@EmmaOvary god that’s so tough, I’m so sorry. How far into your tww are you? Would it really be that tight financially if you were?

@Bumpingalong84 I'm only a few DPO. It would be tight, for sure. I just need to get another job ASAP and put the TTC on hold until then.

I caved and tested this morning! Faint bfp at 9dpo so scared but excited!

No symptoms other than af ones (exactly the same as every month 😔) so I'm not getting my hopes up. I've been away this weekend which has been somewhat of a distraction. But I think I'll give it a couple more months then stop with the "planning" and just see how it goes. Xxx

I’m still in disbelief and anxiety is creeping in after our mmc. Will just have to take it a day at a time, it’s still super early days.

@Bumpingalong84 officially 7 I think. Had a loss early on. I don't know why I'm so negative this month! I'm worried it's because I'm that little bit older now. And I had a lot of treatment last year for a abnormal smear. Xx

That’s defo not a false positive and looks like a pretty strong positive to me! How many dpo are you? Could you have ovulated early? I know I’m only 10dpo cos I used clear blue ovulation sticks.

Tested this evening with a dilute wee and it’s not a sensitive one so pretty pleased with this line considering. I’m feeling so anxious so fingers crossed for sticky beans for both of us 🤞🏻

I did a digital this eve. And was negative. 😔 I was 9dpo yesterday. And ov is based on opks, app and me feeling that I'd ovd. So scared to test again. That frer was late afternoon with fairly dilute. Xx

@Alice8688 you are brave to do a digital. They are not really sensitive and it’s super early so don’t be disheartened. Give it till the end of the week and test.

I’ve done another clearblue this morning with FMU and it’s a nice clear line so will give it another few days and probably test again. Tho really we shouldn’t have to, we have our bfp’s so it’s just a wait and watch now. Told DH it’s like we’ve got on a roller coaster again 😬

@Bumpingalong84 I know 🤣 it's only because the line yesterday was darker than I ever got on a frer with dc 1&2. And they both showed positive on a digital with fainter lines. But I know it's not an exact science.

I know! I only did 2 tests with dd 11years who. 1 x frer and 1 x digi. With my son 5 years ago I did about 10! You're right about the rollercoaster! Xxx

Haha I know I have a DD who’s nearly 4 and I was far more laid back with her. The last time I test so much, didn’t seem to change the outcome so want to try hard to be chilled this time. Easier said than done.
