@Luxoire Ohhh lovely, some sunshine will be doing you great! We are going to Spain last week in Sept, our first holiday abroad with DD and I'm a bit nervous about how itll go. Oh goodness yes, I desperately want another baby but a big part of me is really anxious and I worry about how I'll cope, will be DD be happy, will she feel left out/jealous, will I love them both enough, can we afford it......so many what ifs but we're going to do it anyway 😂😂

HappyGirl86 · 17/08/2019 19:39

Happy Birthday @Luxoire !!! Hope you are having a fab day and a lovely holiday! Glad we are keeping you smiling.
Enjoy the sun!! There's been a lot of rain here.

I think every parent has that sudden thought about whether they are doing the right thing.....I think it's normal!

MrsSkr · 17/08/2019 21:12

So girls...today my bleeding has completely stopped but tonight I am cramping alot! Any ideas?? Feel like I should be in the middle of AF but I'm not xx

HappyGirl86 · 17/08/2019 22:03

How long did the bleeding last?

MrsSkr · 17/08/2019 22:11

Only 2 days really, Wed and Thurs. Suppose it might start up again? Just wondering why I'm so sore tonight x

@wannabemum38 I'm sorry you had a loss. I'm excited for you to experience becoming a Mummy for the first time, there's nothing like it in the world. Keeping allll the fingers crossed for you!

@HappyGirl86 No I can completely understand not wanting multiple sections. Bless you, that's tough.
My puddings are 8,6 and 1. Personally going from 1-2 was a piece of cake, but they were both very good babies and toddlers and I completely loved the age gap. My youngest is a lot harder work, so 2-3 has had its challenges for sure. I feel littlest needs a buddy like 1+2 have eachother though! @MrsSkr Ahhh they're hard work but so so worth it! My baby is so delicious, and absolutely doted on by 1+2

wannabemum38 · 18/08/2019 00:18

@Luxoire Happy birthday have a great time on holiday will definitely keep you posted.
This time next week we will be in Paris can't wait for some R&R and being a big kid at Disney lol

@PieandPumpkins thank you for the kind words. I believe it wasn't meant to be at that point in my life for many different reasons but due to not having the counselling they offered me it did affect me later on. I did find out I was rhesus negative blood so that's handy information to know for future. I want to be a mummy so much and cant wait for that BFP when it happens.

LazyDogFox · 18/08/2019 16:05

Hope you enjoyed your birthday @Luxoire!
@MrsSkr how are things today? Any more bleeding?

I care off the pill during my period and I’m now still bleeding. AF was supposed to stop on Friday but I’m still having light bleeding when I wipe. Could this be because of stopping the pill? I know you can have withdrawal bleeds etc but would it cause a prolonged bleed? I’m so nervous that all my years on the pill have masked irregular periods and now it’s all going to go to pot 🙈🙈🙈

MrsSkr · 18/08/2019 19:02

Hi @LazyDogFox no, it all stopped yesterday afternoon, I did get quite alot of bloody/brown cm when I wiped earlier today (so sorry...yuk!) But absolutely nothing since. Last night and this morning was really crampy and had backache but its easing a bit now. I think I'll treat is as a short period and use opks around cd8 to see what happens then just wait for my next (hopefully normal) AF.

I'm not sure about the pill as I have never really used it. It may just be your body getting used to the change in hormones, I'm sure they will regulate back to normal (or hopefully they wont have the chance) 😉👶🤞

HappyGirl86 · 18/08/2019 20:53

Hi Girls, hope you are all ok. My ovulation sticks are starting to look more hopeful now. The left one was this morning and the right one this evening. Still not positive but getting darker compared to yesterday and the day before.

MrsSkr · 18/08/2019 21:23

Ohhhh @HappyGirl86 tonight's one is looking pretty close to positive!! I'd be BDing as much as I could if I were you! Enjoy!
My DH is away with work so I'm eating lots of chocolate and watching bridget jones's baby xx

LazyDogFox · 18/08/2019 21:29

@MrsSkr how very strange! Maybe just your hormones sensing you are ready 😂

Yeah I think it must be pill related. Like your optimism maybe they won’t get chance to settle! 👶🏼

@HappyGirl86 do they not show that you are ovulating then? Sorry never used one so don’t know how to read the result! Do you get them from amazon?

HappyGirl86 · 18/08/2019 21:35

I LOVE that film @MrsSkr I love Bridget Jones she is a great character
We DTD last night and the schedule has us down to do it again tomorrow night, hoping then the stick will be a proper positive!

@LazyDogFox the bottom line has to be as dark as or darker than the top line for it to be a positive for ovulation. These are from amazon, only cheap ones. I've never used them before but my friend recommended them. They seem to get lots of good reviews although there are some people on the reviews who say they didn't work for them. As they are only cheap it's worth a try eh!

LazyDogFox · 18/08/2019 21:39

@HappyGirl86 oh I see! They never tell you about all of this when they give you ‘the talk’ at school do they. 😒 thanks for explaining I might get myself some in a couple of months once my cycle settles.

MrsSkr · 18/08/2019 22:00

@HappyGirl86 iv never seen it before but I'm loving it!
Oh well that sounds promising, I'm sure that opk will be positive tomorrow. I have a good feeling for you!
Ohhh I can't wait to get going now, just going to go for it at my next fertile window after this month. Was going to wait until our holiday or after but cant wait that long lol xx

HappyGirl86 · 18/08/2019 22:02

Hahaha yeh @LazyDogFox I remember sex Ed was just putting condoms on a plastic penis haha!
It's worth trying the ovulation sticks. I didn't use them when I had my daughter so it's interesting to see how they are working now.
Although it's important to remember that "in the olden days" they never had these things and people still got pregnant......so I try not to get too obsessed!

HappyGirl86 · 18/08/2019 22:03

Eeeeek exciting @MrsSkr I'm pleased for you.

I just don't think this month will be my month.....I do hope it is though! I'm sure a negative half empty glass type person.....need to remind myself to think positively haha

LazyDogFox · 18/08/2019 22:19

@HappyGirl86 yeah exactly! I’m scarred with the threat “it only takes one time” 😂 maybe it does for some people...
I know what you mean about ‘the olden days’, they didn’t track temperature and eliminate food groups but we still had babies. Maybe that’s my way of thinking to reduce pressure on myself but we will see! Fingers crossed your OPK shows positive tomorrow 😊

@MrsSkr ahhh you sound so excited it’s lovely! It does help that the act of trying isn’t the worst thing in the world 😂 I wanted to wait until December but like you I just can’t wait!

HappyGirl86 · 18/08/2019 23:04

Thanks girls. I think it is important to be relaxed about everything but that's hard sometimes isn't it! I feel like this month is going by so slowly......I'm soooo not patient!

LazyDogFox · 18/08/2019 23:19

I’m trying to tell myself ‘we aren’t TTC we are just not avoiding getting pregnant’ in the hopes it will make me a bit more relaxed, ask me again in a month or two and it wont be the same story 😂😂

MrsSkr · 18/08/2019 23:25

Oh I know, it's just so hard when you get it in your head. Last time I was all in from day 1, a bit obsessive. This time I told myself I'd be more relaxed but even before getting my coil out I was sticking up on opks, constantly reading through these forums (which I'm so glad for now) planning in my head...feel I'm on a slippery slope lol. x
