@robs20 omg!! Amazing news!! I think twins are such little miracles! ❤️❤️

@luxoire Ahh haha well I would have been happy if it had been a bfp, but when faced with making that choice, I am happy to wait. Its only a few months, but for several reasons it will just make life a bit easier. I understand about the holiday, that is one of our thoughts with waiting, to let my kids have a summer holiday. My youngest will also be a bit older, so I will have time to enjoy solely on him before nausea starts! Can you private message on here? There's something a bit RL revealing I want to talk to you baout lol x

PieAndPumpkins · 11/10/2019 10:38

@destiny25 how are you doing? Did AF show up?

Luxoire · 11/10/2019 10:56

@MrsSkr well BFN but no AF? and the nausea - i do not remember you ever complaining of nausea before as one of your AF symptoms...this is interesting...please keep me posted...you never know maybe your HCG hormones are too low to be picked up.

@Robs20 oh wow!!! that is EXCITING news!! twins?!!!! congratulations daring - i am sure you would defintiely be monitored closely! thank you for keeping in touch. I am on my 2WW

Earliest I can test is 6days before missed period which will take me to Thursday ? so I am holding out till then (impatiently)

Funny dream to make you all laugh!
I had a weird dream last night that I went to a doctor to have some eggs frozen (don't ask why!!) and then after taking the eggs out - the doctor said ''you can pay with my wife downstairs, but looking at you, I would say you are already 11 days pregnant'' ahahahhaa i was so furious - i said why didnt you tell me that BEFORE doing the procedure!!! WEIRD DREAM!

I'm so glad it's Friday, it's been a shit week! 1st was being back at work after hols, 2nd was period arriving, 3rd my mum spent all day at A&E on Wed as she was having balance issues and dizziness vomiting, lots of tests, waiting for an MRI and new medication she is finally able to stand up on her own with out throwing up but I'm still worried about her.

In some ways though it a good thing period did arrive as it means I can have gin!

Hope everyone else has had a better week?

Robs20 · 11/10/2019 11:34

@Luxoire you know that intense dreams are really common in early pregnancy......something to do with the rush of hormones I think. Good luck for thursday!

claireb707 · 11/10/2019 11:51

Oh wow @Robs20 congratulations!! Are there twins in your family?

There is that possibility with me, family history of twins (maternal grandmother was one of a twin, my cousins are twins) and apparently twins are more likely over 40...

It would be good I think to have twins. Somehow don't like the idea of having only 1 but with my age it's going to be harder to conceive later so twins gets that solved straight away 😂

Luxoire · 11/10/2019 11:58

@claireb707 aww babe! sound sike a crappy week - glad your mum is doing better though - does she suffer from any blood pressure issues at all? bless you , you definitely deserve the G&T

aww thanks @Robs20 until then i will just keep myself entertained here

@claireb707 NO!! No history of multiples at all! I was really upset when I found out - we spent 4 months in nicu with dd1 and there were lots of multiples there. The thought of being back there scares the life out of me, I’m just hoping these babies are healthy.

Sounds like you have lots of potential to have twins!!! I don’t know how it works - is it just identical twins that run in families? Good luck!

claireb707 · 11/10/2019 12:17

I'm sure you and your babies will be fine 😚

We've got both in family, grandmother was identical, cousins are non identical

claireb707 · 11/10/2019 12:19

@Luxoire she is on bp medication but more cos of her age (and another medication that causes rises in bp, normally she has lowish bp), they've ruled all heart issues out and think it's vertigo but not sure what's caused it to come on suddenly hence the MRI

CouscousEvaporator · 11/10/2019 12:41

Congratulations @robs20!
Have a healthy pregnancy 💐

Sorry you’ve had such a crap week @claireb707 hope your mum is on the mend now.

We are now not trying but not preventing. I’m CD8. Feeling pretty relaxed about it as my cycles are a bit different due to the vitamins I’ve been taking (my cycle seems to have shortened!) and I can’t be bothered to track whilst it sorts itself out. 😆 I’ll drive myself mad.

Fingers crossed for us all! Sorry I keep dipping in and out! X

PieAndPumpkins · 11/10/2019 17:31

@claireb707 sorry you've had a bad week. I hope your mum is on the mend soon. Enjoy your gin lol

claireb707 · 11/10/2019 17:40

Just spoken to mum, she's doing a lot better, still not 100% but on the way.
She's managed a shower today and got up and down stairs on her own. She still goes sick and dizzy if she moves too quick so she is having to go gently but she sounds much better than yesterday. MRI is booked for next Friday morning.
Thanks all! Hope you have good weekends!

wannabemum38 · 11/10/2019 18:38

Congratulations @Robs20 amazing news

I'm on 5dpo but don't hold out much hope. wasn't feeling week recently we DTD a few times including day if surge which came Saturday but didn't manage anything on ovulation day so we will see.
My DP is stressing out about new job the move and now worrying it's his fault we aren't getting pregnant and typical man fashion just totally shrinks into his shell and doesn't talk about it why are men like that?!
Sounds like we are all having wobbles at the moment

Luxoire · 11/10/2019 20:26

@claireb707 glad ur mum is lots better. One less thing to worry about atleast u can look fwd to the scan xx

@wannabemum38 does he understands ur cycle? Explain ovulation to him and tell him even when timed to perfection it doesn't guarantee a fertilized egg or a baby..last thing u want is him putting that pressure on himself every time I need to dtd.. We've all had wobbles! I am 4dpo so we should be testing about same... When r u planning to test? Xx

claireb707 · 11/10/2019 20:28

@Luxoire mums not looking forward to the scan, it's at 8.30 in the morning 😂 since she retired she doesn't really do before 10 😂😂

wannabemum38 · 11/10/2019 21:00

@Luxoire yeah I told him it's still very early days. I turned 39 last month and on average it takes at least a year. Now we are in same town pressure will be less hopefully.
Yes very similar times I'm going to try and hold out til AF is due how about you?

georgiarclark11 · 11/10/2019 21:26

Hey also wanting to conceive ASAP! Had my implant out in February and not had a period since! Started a course of provera today to try and induce one :(

Luxoire · 12/10/2019 11:38

@claireb707 Hahah I dont blame her ..i would really not be up before 10 eother if i had a choice..lop... Bring on retirement. Tell her we are all routing for her.xxx

@wannabemum38 aww thats grear ur in same town now..hopefully dtd will just naturally happen more often and increade the chance of getting preggers....girl ur good...my AF is due 22nd...i don't think I'd hold out that much/long. I will test thursday or friday next week. My son has a hernia operation on Monday 21st so i need to know if I can havr a glass of somrthing to steady my nerves lol 😆

@georgiarclark11 welcome onbaord hun...great tp have u with us. Feb is a long time..hope the provera helps soon! Keep us posted and hoping the witch viaits you soon xx

MrsSkr · 12/10/2019 20:58

@Robs20 Huge big DOUBLE congratulations! That's such amazing news, twins is a really special miracle. Of course you will be worried and apprehensive but I'm sure they will monitor you even more now, try your best to enjoy it and I wish you the healthiest, happiest pregnancy.

Pretty sure AF has arrived here, started lightly bleeding today, although very very light now. I'm sure will be full force tomorrow. Still getting waves of nausea though so likely have a bug 😢

@claireb707 so sorry to hear about your mum, very best wishes to her and hope she feels much better soon good luck for MRI xx

Welcome @georgiarclark11 😊👋 xx

georgiexo · 12/10/2019 21:06

@Luxoire Oh hun, remind me how many dpo you are? Could it be implantation pain? I get lots of funny pains and definitely notice them all lots more when ttc. Try to relax, eat some chocolate, that's what I'm doing tonight 🤣
