TTC first baby

Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

@tryingforbabyone The sickness has struck!! Past few days feeling so nasuea's but thankfully no vomiting!
Last weekend I had some bleeding so I had to go to EPU for a scan, they said everything was normal and it was likely implantation but I've got to go back again this Tuesday just to check the pregnancy is progressing right. How you doing? Xx

@Hewie30 oh bless you that must have been worrying but so glad everything is okay! So have you already been able to see baby on a scan? Hopefully the sickness stays away and the nausea improves! I'm okay thank you onto cycle 10 now and going to be booking doctors appointments soon to get everything checked.

@tryingforbabyone Yeah it really was I thought I was having a miscarriage but I haven't bled for a week now and I've had no cramps etc so hopefully it's good news on Tuesday that it's progressing well 🤞🤞. I'd have the thought of being back at square one!
Fingers crossed this is your month Hun 🤞. What do you want to check? Your hormones?

@Hewie30 oh yes everything crossed for you 🤞🏼 I'm sure everything will be progressing fine and you'll have a happy healthy baby I no time! Yes just go and get the all clear that everything is okay and there is no reason why it is taking so long other than needing to be patient (well that's what I hope they say anyway)

@tryingforbabyone Thank you! Yeah that'd a good idea, I feel it's better to get these checked now rather then later incase there is a imbalance somewhere. But I'm sure there's not 😊. Hopefully this month will be your month! You just need the right mix as the girls would say to me 🤣.

@littlelisa34 Thank you hun ❤️, fingers crossed everything is okay. I feel so nervous! But I've got symptoms glaore at the moment so I'm hoping that means something. I'll be devestated to be back to step number one again! I made the mistake of googling too which wasn't my smoothest move! X

I'm 23 on cycle 6, cycle day 13 trying SMEP but not using OPK's this month just using my apps.

Had an early miscarriage in june at 7 weeks, hoping this is a positive thread, congratulations on the positives xxx

@littlelisa34 I went for my scan today and everything was okay ❤️, definatly regret googling just going to remain positive from now on! I saw the little jellybean and a little heartbeat 😍

@Hewie30 aw I'm so pleased hun and you got to see the little heartbeat which must of been so reassuring.. I'm really glad it went well, try and relax now and enjoy it 😁😁xx

@imnewtothis I'm on cycle nine now with a miscarriage at 6 weeks and 6 days a couple of month back so I know how you feel Hun. I use clearblue digital opks aswell as a couple of apps every month, I like the reassurance I get from using the opks but sometimes I think they add a little more stress than is needed.. your quite a few years younger than me Hun so I'm sure you will catch on in no time, I know it's not all about age but you have that on your side which is a good thing hun 😁xx

I'm 5DPO today and already symptom spotting - stupid I know, but I felt nauseous this morning, literally trying to keep my breakfast down x but I know it's way too early. My af is meant to show 11/12 of Dec. I had a peak on 26.11 so O day likely 27th x We DTD 3 days before, 2 days before, 1 day before and missed the O day due to family drama, but managed to DTD again day after so fingers crossed for Christmas BFP x

@Katie1109 yeah I think we were on at the same time when you were going through yours, I had mine not long after.. horrible experience sorry you experienced it also. I'm on cycle nine now, in my TWW at the minute 3dpo.. but not holding my breath because I don't have a good feeling about this one. What about you?? You're in your tww also aren't you? Xx

@littlelisa34 thank you x yes I am in 1WW officially today, 7DPO with af due 11/12 of December x I keep thinking I feel a bit different for last 2 days but it’s probably in my head. Cervix quite high and soft, can barely reach it with my nail, quite a bit of cm and twinges here, there and everywhere, so I’m probably imagining it 😂 we DTD on all important days I think, so fingers crossed x one minute I feel like it’s my month, the next minute I want to cry because I know it isn’t. I’m on cycle 6 now x fingers crossed for you x

@Katie1109 hopefully your not imagining it Hun 😁 do you use opks?? I've had nothing but I'm only early on in my tww so can't really expect too much. This was my first month not using opks, was trying to take the more relaxed approach but it's given me anxiety that I've missed my important days so I'm not getting my hopes up xx

Yes I had my peak on CD14 so possibly ovulated on CD15 because my LH has dropped then x I’ve got everything crossed for you x I think I might give opks a kiss from next year if it doesn’t work out x

@Katie1109 I always ovulate between cd11 and cd13 which I thought was far too early on but I've found out since it isn't a bad thing gives more time for the egg to implant better.. I feel like an expert on TTC but there's probably all sorts I'm doing wrong.. fingers crossed for us both hun xx
