Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

@tryingforbabyone sorry to hear AF has arrived hun hope your feeling okay I know it's difficult but you will get that BFP I'm sure.. I'm doing okay had my last lot of blood tests done on Monday and my hcg was down to 20 so I'm hoping another week and it'll all be gone and then we can get back to TTC although I'm not sure how my cycle will be now, done a lot of researching but haven't found anything definitive.. hospital told me to wait 8 weeks but the consultant told me I could try as soon as I wanted so I'm going more towards his advice.. been using opks last three days had one low and two flashing smiley faces but I'm not sure if they are picking up hcg so I'm not really sure what is going on.. xx

@LittleLisa34 I'm okay, a bit nervous at the moment! AF is late and I've had 4 faints on a pregnancy test but I've had pink spotting today so hoping it's not a chemical!

@Littlelisa34 hey Hun! How you doing? Unfortunately I did a first response and the lines faded so I think I'm having another chemical 😔. On cd 38 and never had a cycle this month, max it's been is 35 so if it's not here by Thursday I'll test again

@Hewie30 sorry to hear that hun but if AF hasn't arrived yet maybe your still in the race.. was the FRER with FMU?? I'm doing okay still waiting for AF or ovulation but I think AF will arrive before I ovulate, I'm hoping one of them arrives soon xx

@littlelisa34 yes I'm okay thank you. Im not checking ovulation this month as just trying to relax a little more but I'm assuming I am now in the rest stages of the tww as AF is due next Sunday 13th but not feeling positive. Have you now had AF and back in the game? How are you feeling?

@tryingforbabyone glad your doing okay.. hopefully the relaxed approach will work for you this month 😁.. yeah I'm on CD5 today got my AF exactly 28 days after miscarriage so went back to normal pretty quickly compared to some women after miscarriage.. I'm going to test for ovulation but then I'm not testing early again until I'm at least two missed AF that's if I ever get that far again.. x

@littlelisa34 so glad you got back into your cycle quickly. I'm sure you will get that far again soon! Fingers crossed for you. Must be so heartbreaking for you! Did you find out why? Yes hoping the relaxed approach helps soon! I used to love one born every minute and programmes like that but can bare to watch them now!

@tryingforbabyone yeah I'm glad I seemed to get back on track pretty quickly thought it was going to go on for a while. No they just said that these things happen and you only get tested for reasons or anything else if it's reoccurring miscarriage which I'm hoping and praying I don't get to. Hopefully if your not as focused on it you won't feel so stressed about it so that is always going to be better for you Hun.. I know what you mean about them sorts of programmes I can't watch anything like that anymore but we will get there hun I'm positive 😁xx

And like clockwork we're in to cycle 9. I just don't know what else I can do. I'm feeling particularly emotional this cycle 😔

I've decided to give myself the next two cycles and then get myself booked in at the doctors because I've been doing some research and I think my follicular phase is too short and maybe that is contributing to not being able to conceive and the miscarriage.. I hope your okay today and I'm here if you want to chat or just have a moan about anything.. xSmile
