Hi all

I'm so pleased your results are good @Realitysucks

Also @Cleozeta I have everything crossed for you this afternoon

Afm .. I'm still trying to come to terms with what happened and have good days and bad days. I think I need a couple of months to work out whether I can put myself through it all again.. I'm not sure I can

I went to see a psychic yesterday ( I know I know!) and she said I mustn't blame myself and it wasn't the wrong decision but that this wasn't the right time. I said I haven't got any more time!!

She said I need to look at this as a learning experience and take time to understand myself more

I'm still struggling with " the fate has decided for me" feeling but she said that is not helpful and I am in control of my destiny but I need to be in the right place and I wasn't. She said there is a baby waiting there for me if I want it but I must truly want it and not come from a place of fear. I need to embrace the universe, make friends with my body which has let me down and trust myself apparently.. prob a load of tosh but I did come away feeling a bit lighter like a weight had lifted and I'm off to get some mindful and self development books to try and help me!

Putting my positive pants on..

rubyroot · 09/10/2019 12:03

@cleozeta that's so worrying for you, esp having to wait so long for a scan. Really hope all is okay. Sending you thoughts

Cleozeta · 10/10/2019 11:25

Thankfully scan went really well. Strong hb and measuring on track with where it should be. First hurdle done - phew!

Realitysucks · 10/10/2019 12:08

@Cleozeta that’s fantastic news ! I’m so pleased for you! I was a bit worried there as you didn’t come back and say anything so I was worried it was bad news! So how far are you now about 8 weeks?

Chatbash72 · 10/10/2019 12:08

Oh yay!!!!! That's fantastic news @Cleozeta
Just lots of bedding in and placenta growing.. 💕💕💕
@Hmmm123 are you following Emma cannon on Instagram? I think what she says would really connect with you and help a little maybe.. we do have time. I believe and I believe in psychics too... one has predicted me meeting my hubby and was bang on... she does have some wise words you do have to be less harsh in your body... and learn to love it. If it made you feel lighter then that's fab..
@Realitysucks fantastic news and a boy.... 💕💕and sending big hugs your way @BooseysMom
Lots of love and baby dust to all you amazing ladies

CritterTamer · 10/10/2019 12:19

Great news Cleo and Reality! So nice to see positive news on this thread 😊

AFM my own good news is that DH had agreed that we can go ahead with frozen embryo transfer next summer so I'll get one last shot.😊 They won't transfer until a year after the c section, and I'm still breastfeeding at the moment, so will have to wait until June, and of course there are no guarantees with ivf, but the embryos are good quality and apparently the chance of success is much improved after a successful cycle so I'm keeping the faith! 🤞

Rose68 · 10/10/2019 12:22

Fab news Cleo and Reality! Amazing! xxx

Cleozeta · 10/10/2019 12:30

That's great critter - go for it!

Reality - I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow. Getting my harmony test booked in now for the next hurdle...

Sonogropher said I was out if the woods now for mc but I have many other high risk factors due to age, the main one now being chromasonal problems.

I saw my TCM guy yesterday who took my pulse reading and then said "it's a girl!"
Apparently in chinese medicine they can tell gender in the very early stages through pulse readings, not sure how, but will be interesting to see if he's right!

Alarica · 10/10/2019 12:53

Great news @Cleozeta I'm so relieved and delighted for you. Keeping everything crossed for the harmony.
So pleased your DH is on board for the frozen transfer @CritterTamer. Hopefully you'll be able to relax and enjoy the next few months with that to look forward to.
AFM GP appointment tomorrow to see if I can get some blood tests booked that might explain my dodgy cycles 🤞

KediKat · 10/10/2019 15:09

It is so wonderful to hear positive news of you lovely ladies conceiving, so happy for you @Cleozeta.
I have been following this thread quietly, I haven't for a while and come back to lovely news. You all give me hope.
Since my mc in February my periods have been short, I have been tracking my cycle with AVA, I am 8 dpo with a few more symptoms then previous months, but afraid to get my hopes up but at 44 I worry more... ☹️

NicLondon1 · 10/10/2019 16:15

@Cleozeta yay that's amazing news! So relieved for you!

@CritterTamer great news about next year too, something to look forward to! Thanks for the suggestion aswell about going to straight to IVF - I think it is probably the right thing to do. I actually found that some clinics refuse to do IUIs for women over 40 as the success rate is so low!
CRGH costs are coming in at £15k for 1 cycle!!!! So we are now leaning towards to going abroad (Czech Republic as I have relatives there to stay with).

If anybody can recommend their clinic here or abroad, I would really appreciate it (by DM if you prefer not to make it public).
Many thanks x

rubyroot · 10/10/2019 19:13

Excellent news @Cleozeta. Yes chromosomal can be an issue, but after a definite chromosomal issue last time, so far all is okay for me. 🤞I'm keeping positive by the fact that baby is super wriggly on all scans and touching face and sucking thumb etc, so hopefully these are all good signs he is healthy. I've also been feeling movements for over 5 weeks now and it's getting more definite. Next hurdle for me is the 20 week scan which I'm very nervous about. Good luck for your nipt. We had the prenatal safe. Had the test Tuesday morn, resukts back on the Friday morn. The quick turn around definitely eased my anxiety.

BooseysMom · 10/10/2019 19:30

@cleozeta.. Hurrah Cleo that's fantastic news! Such a relief for you. Smile

@Rubyroot...That does sound very positive ruby. Good luck for your results and everything crossed for your next milestone.

BooseysMom · 10/10/2019 19:32

@chatbash72.. Sorry Chat..forgot to say thank you for the hug x

Cleozeta · 10/10/2019 20:48

Ruby - so glad things are looking good for you this time.
Chromasomal issues are a worry, it's never going to be straight forward and worry free for us is it! My first 2 pergnancies in my 30's were so simple and carefree, I didn't even realise it!

Hmmm123 · 10/10/2019 22:00

@Cleozeta that's great news so so pleased for you!

beckymum · 10/10/2019 22:14

Great news @Cleozeta and @Realitysucks and @rubyroot . Very happy for you all and fingers crossed for smooth progression to 40 weeks!!

I am on my TWW. We only DTD three times in green zone. Not feeling very hopeful, I don't have any symptoms. Hasn't stopped me testing at 7DPO though 😂😬 what am I like!!

Chatbash72 · 11/10/2019 17:12

My eldest is in the process of starting to donate eggs.. she's 22... I'm not sure how I feel about this as we are still ttc.. as in I could still have a baby and my child is thinking about this..
it feels odd but she still wants to have kids later in life.. but she could be giving couples a chance to have a baby.. ooh what a strange bombshell to be dropped on a Friday afternoon 😱🤦‍♀️

Russkispy · 11/10/2019 21:10

@Cleozeta so good to hear her your update! Glad it's all going well! When is your next scan?
@Chatbash72 wow, wow! I bet it came a bit of a shock to you! As going through DE process myself right now, I'm just glad and grateful there are some young ladies out there are donating eggs to the couples who are struggling with infertility etc and good on your daughter! But can imagine your reactions especially that you're still actively TTC

Rose68 · 12/10/2019 10:07

@Chatbash72 yes I totally get your reaction... maybe she could donate an egg to you! But I guess that would have all kinds of complications. xxx

Chatbash72 · 12/10/2019 10:41

@Rose68 oh my god no!!! That would be very wrong on many levels

Russkispy · 12/10/2019 12:30

Had my second scan this morning and it went well! Lining is now 12mm and we’re ready for transfer next Saturday! Woo hoo! No injections, no trigger and au natural from here on. Starting progesterone on Monday night. Will still continue with estrogen patches and that’s about it. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Alarica · 12/10/2019 16:46

Great news @Russkispy keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🤞

Chatbash72 · 12/10/2019 18:43

Sorry @Rose68 didn't mean to sound harsh... she has a diff dad to my hubby.. and even if she didn't would still not be good morally or genetically..

twinkledag · 13/10/2019 21:46

Donor egg from your own child?!
