SparrowSG: 44. 1 DS 2.5. TTC for ever! 1 ectopic 10 wks Feb 2014, 1 successful IVF 2016, 1 failed IVF 2018, 1 MC 12 wks Feb 2019. Planned IVF Oct 2019.
KCM99: 43, 2 DC, ttc no.3 since April. 3 early losses since then.

@hmmm123 don't blame yourself. Yes, you have one amazing child, as do I. But it is completely natural and acceptable to want another.

As other posters have said that having one tube doesn't mean its the end, at the moment you probably don't want to try again, but there may come a time when you change your mind.

Hmmm sorry you have had such a difficult time. Unfortunately we never know how things will turn out, it would be useful if we did. We just have to make the choices we believe are right for us and hope for the best.

I wish psychics were more reliable, I'd use them for sure. I wouldn't have wasted the last 2.5 years stressing and trying and mc's etc if someone could just tell me "it's not going to happen" Or worse "things will go wrong". If only we could know

Would love to know if anyone has any idea what's going on with me?? Clearblue digital was negative CD 9, flashing smiley 10 and 11 then AF arrived yesterday CD12??? No cramps or pain but slightly heavier than normal, how is that even possible a week after last period ended?? So confused and down about it

Donor egg collection update: we got 15 mature eggs! 😳😳🤗🤗😌😌😘😘😘
And from tomorrow we will get daily updates as to how they’re developing and on Saturday we will know how many blasts we’ve got! 😱😳😌😌😘😘
Our donor was in the programme before and had 14 mature eggs, and 8 became 5 day blasts. 1 was transferred and worked from the first time and resulted in live pregnancy. We’re hoping for the same/similar outcome! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi all - just to update you (havent had chance to read the other updates as been sleeping/ feeding!) but our little miracle babies were born on Monday morning at 37w2d and I'm delighted to say they didn't need any special care, they are healthy strong wee things and they've been straight on the ward with me!
The little girl was 3kg, little boy 2.9kg!

The section and I lost a fair amount of blood, so I'm a bit pale and tired, but over the moon with our beautiful babies finally being here! We had one hell of a journey to get here... I hope it brings some hope to some of you! Xx

OMG WTF.

Just got a BFP. SMU.11dpo, no symptoms. Literally just doing my standard monthly test so I can stop the progesterone, and it came up.
Only yesterday we had talked about making our appointment at the fertility clinic for IVF. I really hope we won't need to now. I'm not getting my hopes up too much as I've had 2 mc already last year, and I know my eggs are poor quality. But I hope and pray (I'm not religious but I'll pray anyway) that this is it. I'm not going to test daily this time. I'm going to just go with it and hope for the best. It's been a year now with not even a hint of anything other than diminishing cycles. This is my last chance. Let this be it.

AFM, we still got 15 embies and they've now divided in 4 cells. Absolutely crazy numbers! A bit overwhelming at the moment! Flying back to the UK now and will have more updates till Saturday 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I haven’t posted for ages as been feeling really low and defeated. I go between thinking I’m ‘only’ 41 so still got some time....and then thinking it’s never ever going to happen and I’ve failed my DH and my little DS. Then I feel guilty for even considering that DS isn’t enough on his own and for even wanting another.
This cycle was our ‘last chance’ to be able to go on our big family celebration long holiday next year. We now know it’ll be one or the other. BFN again this morning.
I also got my Day 21 Progesterone results and was told it’s “satisfactory” at 28 and no further action needed, however a google since suggest anything under 30 means I’m not ovulating so now I’m lost again.

Ooh @MaryShelley1818 so much pressure you are putting on yourself.. I know a dozen friends who have produced little ones after 40.... try to relax it only takes one egg....

Hi all. Its been a lifetime since Ive been on here but ive been lingering in the background keeping up all your news, both positive and heart breaking.
Cleo Im so delighted for you. I really hope this is it and all goes smoothly.
We're still trying but in my heart I've given up. However, DH remains hopeful. At this stage it really will be a miracle. By the opks, timing of AF and physical symptoms we seem to be timing dtd correctly but miss every month.

Thank you for your support ladies. I am cautious, yet for the first time in ages - hopeful.

Minime - I felt like that too. All the ov rigmarole had become mundane and pointless. I had near enough given up. Just goes to show, even with my shitty stats, the game isn't up yet. It may not work for me, but at least I got this far, which is more than I expected at this stage. These things tend to happen when we least expect them
