@Bezalelle @Carysmatic @Namechangeymcnamechange11 @Sunflower2019 shall we start over and go through the next couple of weeks together, along with whoever else would like to join?

Sounds like we are all TTC, some of us doing so after chemical pregnancies in June. All emotional and strained but looking forward to trying again??

No idea what my cycle will be like this month but let's see what happens

Xxx

Hi, may I join? I'm in the TWW after a CP last month. Could do with some buddies 😊

TTC #2 for 9 months, first bfp last month which ended at 6 weeks as an early miscarriage / CP

Heading into another TWW with rather mixed feelings...

Xx

Carysmatic · 10/07/2019 22:15

Hey @Hayd88 thanks for making a new thread.

I honestly don't know what to expect this month. I went back to work today and it was tough. You know how people moan about every day crap? Menial every day rubbish? Well today while everyone's moaning and complaining and I'm just keeping my head down because I just can't deal with it. I just wanted to scream, "I was pregnant last week and now I'm not!! I don't care about your stupid not a real problem Susan!!" (I don't really work with anyone called Susan, but you get my point) But of course I don't because I don't want everyone at work knowing my business. Phew, rant over. I'm still spotting and it's like every time I go to the loo it's another reminder. I'm still struggling to process it really, I've no idea what my cycle will be like this month either and I guess I'll just start POAS for OPKS and hope I ovulate some time. Sorry massive ranty message. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

Hayd88 · 11/07/2019 06:07

Hi @Doris19 and welcome! I'm so sorry about last month. A few of us are in the same boat and it's hard...it must be mixed feelings I'm sure, I feel the same way.

@Carysmatic it is understandable finding your first day back at work tough, I had my first day back yesterday too. Best advice I've been given is that everyone finds this a different experience and don't feel like you need to rush back to feeling "normal"....it's ok NOT to be ok. We are all still hormonal also don't forget. It's a shock we're getting over too...

Big love. No idea when I'll be ovulating either.....hopefully in a week or so?? How long did it take for your cycle to go back to normal @Doris19 ?

How are you @Bezalelle ? Xx

Hi everyone just wanted to pop in and say hi. I had a chemical pregnancy early June after finding out I was pregnant in May. My cycle was pretty normal in June I ovulated a day later than I was expecting but that was about it.

With the cp I had really sore (felt sunburnt) nipples and felt really sick.

Best thing I tried to take from it was the silver lining that we 'could' get pregnant and according to the dr it would have been a chromosomal abnormality that made it unviable and was unlikely to happen again.
Of course that doesn't stop the worry that it will.

June's cycle I felt a bit nauseous but that was since ov and boobs/nipples were fine even kept poking them to check 🙈 had some cramps so assumed I was out and was devastated. Then one morning I just had an urge to test so I did without thinking of the consequences and there was the faintest line, I was so happy but instantly I was worried as I'd tested early at 9dpo 🤦🏻‍♀️cue a couple of weeks of worry. I'm still early now at 5+5 but I feel it better about this one and have had beta blood test confirm rising levels. Got an early scan booked for weds to check there is something there and we're just keeping everything crossed this is our sticky baby 🤞🏻

I just wanted to tell you my story and hopefully make you feel a bit better that it will happen for you, it may not be straight away but it will and it's amazing that you have each other to support each other through it 💕 make sure you all take care of yourselves

There are a couple of other cp threads around that I was on and the ladies there are so supportive as well☺️

good luck everyone sending you all love and luck! 💕

Hayd88 · 11/07/2019 07:06

Thank you @Abi58 for sharing your story. I did see you on another thread and was going to reach out to you to ask about your experience too. I'm so happy for you that it is working out so far with this pg. good to know that your cycle was fairly regular afterwards too. Sending you lots and lots of best wishes for your first scan and really hope you see that little heartbeat 💗 x

Hello everyone!

Thanks for starting this thread, @Hayd88.

I finished bleeding today (whether it was period or chemical - still not 100% sure). So today is Cycle Day 1. A fresh start!

I'm actually feeling really positive. I booked to have some acupuncture next week. DP's mum had it when she was trying for him, and it apparently really helped her.

I've timed my next visit to DP to coincide with my fertile period (ovulation due around July 21st), so fingers crossed. Living apart is a bit annoying, but it's unavoidable for the next few months due to work/study.

I keep reminding myself that this is only Cycle 2 for me. I guess I'm so used to planning and controlling things Blush that it's only just dawning on me that it might not happen straight away!

Doris19 · 11/07/2019 08:06

@Hayd88 my cycle seems to have gone back to normal straight away, I had a scan at 6 weeks having felt something was wrong as my symptoms had faded. I started bleeding the next day naturally which I counted as CD1 and ov'd CD19 which is normal for me. I'm now 4/5 DPO...

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 11/07/2019 08:14

Hi everyone.
Let's go again. Flowers to all. I'm trying to be optimistic now after a few days in a mood. I mean, it took 6 months last time, so anything less than that is just a bonus right?
Brew
CD 4 for me. Fortunately DH is here for all my fertile period this month Grin

Hayd88 · 11/07/2019 08:19

Ok that's good to know @Doris19 - I've stopped bleeding now so have gone back to my tracker to work our fertile window etc. After a few days of being super emotional and down, I feel strangely positive today too @Bezalelle ! Especially having you all to talk to.

I thought on the way to work today it's going to be really hard not to symptom spot but I need to try! I think I need something other than work to keep my mind focussed on other things so if I'm disappointed at the end of my cycle it's not such a blow...I'm moving house at the end of the month so that's something 😂

Bezalelle · 11/07/2019 08:32

@Hayd88 it's good to have something else to focus on! DP and I have just started planning our wedding. It's not going to be huge, but still there's stuff to think about.

Hi to @Abi58 and @Doris19 - welcome.

Hello to @Carysmatic too! Nice to see you again xx

Doris19 · 11/07/2019 08:49

Must say that I am also feeling good this month - feel like if it happens it is meant to be, my DH went away for a week on Sunday and so we thought we would just miss my peak days but I got a static smiley on my clear blue opk on the Saturday morning! Must be a good sign!

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 11/07/2019 11:44

Good news @doris19. Would you recommend the clear blue OPK with the smiley? DH brought the regular CB OPKs with the 3 lines, but testing once a day, I didn't get a dark line in the test area. Think I must have missed the surge not testing twice per day.

Moongirl10 · 11/07/2019 11:51

Hi everyone, I was on the last thread too. CD14 for me. Fingers crossed for us all this month!

QforCucumber · 11/07/2019 11:56

Hi all, mind if I join? We are starting again after having a TFMR in April, I'm terrified and excited all in one. Need someone to check in with as don't want to tell people we are starting again in case it all goes wrong again.

Hayd88 · 11/07/2019 12:53

Welcome @Moongirl10 and @QforCucumber !

Good luck @Moongirl10 you are well ahead of me in your cycle. How are you feeling?

@QforCucumber what is a TFMR sorry? It doesn't sound too good so I'm sorry for what you've gone through and can understand it's with trepidation you're entering this cycle!

All here to chat and help each other through the next few weeks! 💕

QforCucumber · 11/07/2019 12:57

@Hayd88 thanks :) it's a termination for medical reasons, at our 12 week scan we were told baby was really poorly and had only a 3% chance of survival to birth, if they did survive no children born with the condition have survived past 6 weeks. We have a 3 year old and couldn't put him or ourselves through it so made the heartbreaking decision to terminate. After a mmc with my first pregnancy, healthy second and then this with 3rd it is with great caution we are trying again (not that any of it was either of our faults)

Hayd88 · 11/07/2019 13:01

Oh @QforCucumber I'm sorry that is so hard. I know someone who went through that. It must be devastating. You must be a lot stronger than me to deal with that. Sending big hugs 🤗. I hope your rainbow baby arrives x

@Namechangeymcnamechange11
I've only ever used the smiley ones, I like the fact that there's no interpretation required. I get the ones that identify you're Estrogen surge (flashing smile) and LH surge (solid smile). Find them really useful.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 11/07/2019 17:29

@Doris19 great thanks!

@QforCucumber I'm sorry to hear what you've been through Flowers it sounds incredibly hard to go through.

Moongirl10 · 11/07/2019 18:51

@Hayd88 I’m feeling ok, just really exhausted! Feel like I’m going to fall asleep at my desk lol. What CD are you on?

Sunflower2019 · 11/07/2019 19:45

Hey everyone, Thanks for adding me to the thread! Will be so nice to talk to people in a similar situation ♥️
Anyway haven’t a clue with i ovulated as tan out of opks, the dreaded 2ww is upon me! I’ve got some really ic but they aren’t very sensitive so if I get an urge I’ll give them a whirl in a couple of weeks. We’ve not been overally dtd but 3x a week which I think is plenty! When it happens it happens.. had a cp a couple of months ago, that was hard, made me realise how Much I wanted a baby. I have a dd she’s 11, had her when I was 21. It’s going to be a large gap but also a new and exciting but scary experience xxx

Good luck to everyone.. where is everyone else in their cycle?

Bezalelle · 12/07/2019 09:30

I'm currently on Day 4 of my cycle, which is usually 28 days. Last month AF didn't come until Day 33, which was really confusing. I had loads of symptoms, but BFNs. It was either a very early CP, or a fluke.

With my cycle slightly out of sync now, I'm not sure when I will ovulate. The Flo app predicts Sunday 21st July, so planning to DTD a lot that weekend while visiting DP (annoyingly, long-distance at the moment! Not ideal AngryGrin)

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 12/07/2019 09:45

CD5 for me. Wondering how much I can persuade DH to DTD and whether he'd go for everyday Grin Grin ovulation predicted for 22nd.

Hayd88 · 12/07/2019 10:06

Not sure what my cycle will be like but currently it's predicted for ovulation to happen Wed/Thurs next week. I'm feeling positive now that's coming up but I'm just hoping I do ovulate! Sounds like most people have gone back to a normal-ish cycle after a chemical though so 🤞.

Doris19 · 12/07/2019 20:34

@Bezalelle that sounds like perfect timing to me! V lucky since it is long distance. Fx it's meant to be this month for you...

@Hayd88 and @Namechangeymcnamechange11 I tried to read up a lot about ov timing post CP as DH was going on a trip. I was on time even a day early, but found there was a lot of different stories. Think it's hard to know what is CD1 after a CP. Recommend opk's if you can!
