@Bezalelle @Carysmatic @Namechangeymcnamechange11 @Sunflower2019 shall we start over and go through the next couple of weeks together, along with whoever else would like to join?

Sounds like we are all TTC, some of us doing so after chemical pregnancies in June. All emotional and strained but looking forward to trying again??

No idea what my cycle will be like this month but let's see what happens

@Bezalelle also, when are you planning your wedding for? That's exciting!!

NavyBerry · 30/07/2019 12:49

You are very strong to hold off testing))) I wouldn't be able to Blush

Carysmatic · 30/07/2019 12:54

@NavyBerry with my BFP last month before my CP I didn't get s positive until after my missed period. I tested like 2/3days before and got a BFN, not really worth testing earlier in my case anyways.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 30/07/2019 14:16

I tried and failed to hold off testing last month... This month am going to try and see it as peeing on £10 for no reason, unless AF is late of course!

Bezalelle · 30/07/2019 14:36

@NavyBerry it's so tempting to test early but I don't think I can face the anxiety of getting a BFN then placing my hope in AF not turning up!

@Carysmatic - we're planning to get married in early January. It's a risk to be TTC now, as I could be 6 months pg by then, and one of the wedding ceremonies will be religious... However, I'm just not prepared to "waste" months of fertility, given my age. It will also make me feel slightly better if I don't conceive within the next few months, as I can tell myself it's for the best, with the wedding coming up!

imnewtothis · 30/07/2019 15:42

Hi please can I join, I had a CP at 7 weeks beginning of June currently in 2ww after having a normal cycle beginning of July. Really hoping for a sticky baby this month!

Bezalelle · 30/07/2019 16:27

Hello @imnewtothis, and welcome!

Doris19 · 30/07/2019 18:42

After AF finally arrived on Friday, I've booked in for acupuncture on Wednesday and have started this month on Clomid. My gynae has also booked me in for a Hycosy on Friday to check my tubes - super nervous about that one as I've heard it's horrendous!!!

How's everyone else getting on? Any symptoms for those in TWW?

Bezalelle · 30/07/2019 19:02

Those sound like positive steps @Doris19. I have my third acupuncture session tomorrow. It's so relaxing.

As for symptom spotting (my favourite hobby!) I'm getting the odd twinge in the uterus area, and it feels "itchy" inside. It's hard to explain. Still getting creamy CM. I haven't been checking the height of my cervix, but I will do at the weekend, as AF is due on Monday. I might do a cheeky test on Sunday night, but will try to hold out until Monday.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 31/07/2019 11:51

Hi ladies.

New (to me) info - it might be old news to you guys. Apparently, superdrug own pregnancy tests are as sensitive as FRERs but much cheaper! Disclaimer - I have not yet done the fact checking, just passing it on!

@bezalelle - wedding planning sounds awesome Grin although I kinda remember the stress... Getting on for 3 years later 😂

Welcome @imnewtothis.

No symptoms here, still have resolve to hold out on testing until AF does/doesn't arrive. Being kept (very) busy at work which keeps my mind off it. Also quite tired in the evening so don't think too much about it. Would love to say it's a symptom, but suspect more due to toddler's sleep (lack of) with teething. Ho hum.

Bezalelle · 31/07/2019 12:56

Interesting, @Namechangeymcnamechange11 ! Might have to stop by Superdrug on my way home.

I'm just about to have my third session of acupuncture. Woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep so I bet I fall asleep.

TMI but SO MUCH discharge today.

Bad belly as well. My mum dropped in with a chickpea wrap for lunch as she was passing by, and a wave of nausea rose up in me when I opened it.

I'm basically feeling like I feel the day before AF, but she isn't due for another 6 days.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 31/07/2019 13:17

@bezalelle that's all sounding really positive! Can I ask what the loads of discharge might indicate? Does it increase if pg?
Enjoy the accupuncture... Although is that the right thing to say when you're about to be filled with needles? I dunno Confused

Bezalelle · 31/07/2019 14:49

@Namechangeymcnamechange11, I'm noticing the discharge because usually at this point in my cycle (still 6 days til AF is due) I'm dry as a bone down there! I googled it, and apparently excessive CM can be a sign of early pregnancy.

Acupuncture was good. She did one in my ear which brought me over a bit queasy, but I'm feeling pretty good. The main thing it's helping with is actually my stress levels about the wedding. I have a bit of a complicated family split across two religions, so there's a lot to think about and organise. The acupuncture seems to be lowering my anxiety about that, which is good.

How are you?

And @Carysmatic, @Doris19 and @imnewtothis - plus anyone else I've missed! Hope you're all well.

Doris19 · 31/07/2019 17:55

@Bezalelle I'm on my way to acupuncture right now! Will report back... glad you feel like you're getting something out of it. X

Bezalelle · 31/07/2019 18:48

Hope you enjoyed it @Doris19! I think I like it because I get to lie down for half an hour in a nice quiet room Grin

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 01/08/2019 12:48

@bezalelle - all good thanks. Resisting the urge to poas today given that early tests work from yesterday and AF due Monday. The only thing stopping me getting a pack with my lunch is the fact that work people might see me in the supermarket 🤣
And that I'm trying to save and if I spend on tests, then AF comes to visit on Mon, I will be extremely hacked off 😖

I understand the stress re the wedding - my first H (no D about it) was a different religion (and culture) which made things incredibly stressful. Be kind to yourself 💐

Bezalelle · 01/08/2019 13:14

Thanks @Namechangeymcnamechange11!

MY AF is due on Monday too. I just got my tests out of the drawer to take with me to visit DP, and am sort of tempted to use the FRER tomorrow morning. It would just put my mind at rest so I can relax and enjoy the weekend one way or the other.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 01/08/2019 19:01

That sounds like a good idea :)

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 02/08/2019 06:48

Well I think that's the first sign of AF on her unwelcome way Sad that sort of tinged discharge Sad

Onto cycle 4 I suppose. I keep repeating that DC1 took ages, so anything less is just a bonus so at least a few months to go before I get any more stressy 🤞

Carysmatic · 02/08/2019 09:08

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 is this normal for you at the beginning of AF? You sure it couldn't be implantation bleeding or something like that?

I'm kind of getting mixed messages. Really sore boobs and nipples that are hard which isn't normal for me. As well as nausea, like had the nausea quite a bit. But also been having cramping like AF cramping, which I did have last month before my BFP but that turned into a CP so I thought all the cramping was down to that. Very confused. Still got a few days until AF, I'm CD 29 and 12DPO. Normally my cycles at 28 days but I assume that because I ovulated late AF will be late? Xx

Bezalelle · 02/08/2019 09:59

@Namechangeymcnamechange11, my first thought was could it be implantation?

@Carysmatic - I am almost exactly the same as you with symptoms and cycles. AF due on Monday. I keep getting these weird "swirls" of goosbumps around my boobs.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 02/08/2019 10:24

Argh I switched over to my fertility app and lost my entire post grrr.

It's not normal for me right now since AF restarted after stopping BF, but it was normal for me pre pregnancy 1 for 3-4 days in the run-up.

I'm on CD25/26 (25 by my calcs, app seems to think 26 and puts me at ovulation a day sooner), so isn't this too late for IB? I thought that's around 6 dpo, but I'm 11-12dpo now?

Ooh I'm getting hopeful now! Too bad I just tasked a colleague with a trip to the court for me, should have gone myself and could have swing in at the pharmacy 🙄

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 02/08/2019 10:38

P.s. @carysmatic and @bezalelle - these symptoms are sounding really positive for you both 🤞

Bezalelle · 02/08/2019 12:25

@Namechangeymcnamechange11, I'm sure I've read that implantation can occur around the same time as you'd be expecting AF.

I'm on my way to DP's now for a weekend of wedding planning. A major symptom I think he'll notice is my boobs! Usually an A cup but they've definitely got bigger. Could just be that I've put a bit of weight on lately to raise chances of conception.

Will test on Sunday I think.

Carysmatic · 02/08/2019 12:46

@Bezalelle that sounds really positive re the boobies!!

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 I think implantation is between 6-10dpo so if you ovulated a little later than expected could be implantation!

I like 99% sure AF is coming but then I said that last month. I hoping I'm not having another chemical, all feels the same as last month.

Fingers crossed for us all!
