@Bezalelle @Carysmatic @Namechangeymcnamechange11 @Sunflower2019 shall we start over and go through the next couple of weeks together, along with whoever else would like to join?

Sounds like we are all TTC, some of us doing so after chemical pregnancies in June. All emotional and strained but looking forward to trying again??

No idea what my cycle will be like this month but let's see what happens

@Bezalelle so hard not to symptom spot though isn't it! I'm 4dpo now and already symptom spotting. Been getting cramps low down and also very sensitive nipple exactly like last month. As well as a wave of nausea last night that for like 20mins Could be something or it could be nothing but all very similar to last month, symptoms I hadn't had before until last month when I got the BFP. Fingers crossed it's all a good sign! Fingers crossed for all of us 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Bezalelle · 24/07/2019 15:19

@Carysmatic 4dpo here as well. On the train home, someone down the carriage was making a repetitive knocking sound and it made me FURIOUS, just like the waves of irrational rage I get when I have PMT! I caught a glimpse of myself in a shop window and my boobs look much bigger than usual.

Maybe I'll give myself a free pass this month to symptom spot. Trying not to do it is like fighting a losing battle!

I'm in a cafe now and there's a table of new mums with their babies. It's making me super-broody and hopeful that it could be me this time next year.

Hopefully this will be the month for us!

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 24/07/2019 18:30

Sending you both baby dust for this month!

Bezalelle · 24/07/2019 20:16

Thanks Name!

I had my second acupuncture session this evening. I'm having it for general anxiety/relaxation as well as fertility, and I feel amazing. It's £35 a session, but it's money well spent just for the relaxation element.

My acupuncturist knows my cycle from last session, so she put the needles into different points today. Last week it was mostly in my belly area to promote ovulation, and forehead for relaxation. This week she focused on promoting implantation (weirdly, pressure points on my ankles!) and energy (the top of my head - ouch).

Bezalelle · 24/07/2019 21:33

Ughh and now the nausea has set in. I can't deal with another two weeks of this, only to get a BFN or a chemical at the end of it.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 25/07/2019 08:22

@bezalelle i didn't realise it was something acupuncture could help with! The idea is a bit squeam inducing for me Confused

Hope the nausea settles down for you.

I'm not one to symptom spot, bearing in mind that I had no symptoms with pregnancy 1, but I've been getting a really strange feeling of sort of pins and needles or a bit of a stabbing around my uterus area Confused although I don't know if that would mean anything 🤷 plus only 4dpo probably means it's nothing!

Moongirl10 · 25/07/2019 11:42

Hi all, AF came so I’m out this month. I just bought some OPK’s from Amazon so I’ll start using those for the next cycle 😊 does anyone know what CD I should start testing with my OPKs?
Sending baby dust to all!

Bezalelle · 25/07/2019 15:03

Sorry to hear AF came, @Moongirl10.

Not sure if this will help, but I've attached a photo of some instructions that came with my OPK (haven't used them yet, but will start next month if no joy this cycle)

Starting over in July
Bezalelle · 26/07/2019 08:50

How's everyone doing in this heat?

I'm 5dpo or 6dpo today, depending on whether I ovulated on Saturday or Sunday. Got loads of creamy CM, and getting some stabbing pains low down in tummy.

Carysmatic · 26/07/2019 10:51

Hey @Bezalelle not great, I'm ill! Flu or something. Doing my BBT this morning and had a temp of over 38 😫🤒

Got a lot of low down cramping, not like strong cramping but it's def there. Really sore and tender nipples that seems to always be erect even in this heat. Other than that I've not really been thinking about it because I feel so unwell 😔

Bezalelle · 26/07/2019 11:36

Urgh, that sounds horrible, @Carysmatic. Being ill in this weather...

I've just realised that my nipples have been permanently erect as well.

Doris19 · 26/07/2019 16:56

AF got me today 🙄
@Bezalelle where do you get your acupuncture? A friend has also recommended but it sounds like you need to have a lot of appointments?

Bezalelle · 26/07/2019 18:22

Hi @Doris19. Sorry to hear about AF's arrival.

I have my acupuncture in Liverpool. I can PM you the name of the doctor if you are anywhere nearby! She charges £36 per session. I've had two so far, on consecutive weeks. I'll have one next week and one the week after, then monthly sessions after that.

Doris19 · 26/07/2019 18:46

Thanks @Bezalelle I'm down south near Basingstoke 🤦‍♀️
I've found a local acupuncturist and reflexologist though, and going to do a bit more research this weekend into both!

Carysmatic · 26/07/2019 19:09

@Doris19 sorry about AF arriving. Fingers crossed for next month for you.

@Bezalelle I've had acupuncture before but not for fertility. Do you feel like it's helping? I guess one thing it's probably doing is relaxing you which when TTC is not a bad thing as we can all get so stressed about it. Maybe I'll give it ago if unsuccessful this cycle. I have a friend who used to be a midwife and I told her about my CP last month and asked her advise. I had an early miscarriage 5 years ago so this is my second and basically means 100% of my pregnancies have ended in miscarriage. She says if it happens again then I need to go see my doctor, despite them being 5years apart. She also suggested I take a low dose of aspirin around the time of implantation to help with blood flow in my uterus. I may give they ago. So I'll start taking it in the next few days. Can't hurt can it?

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 26/07/2019 20:06

@carysmatic that sounds like a plan, a good source of information from your friend. It must be worth a shot if no success this month. Although obvs we're all keeping everything crossed for you this month 🤞

This TWW is taking forever this time 🙄

Carysmatic · 26/07/2019 20:38

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 will try the aspirin this month. I'm 6 DPO today so implantation should occur I think about 10 DPO so maybe start taking aspirin in a few days. Can't hurt can it? How you getting on @Name any symptoms today?

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 28/07/2019 08:49

Not a sausage carysmatic. I don't think we've succeeded this month. Halfway through the TWW now.

Bezalelle · 28/07/2019 12:26

Hi all.

@Carysmatic the acupuncture is definitely helping me relax. Currently planning our wedding, and I'm managing to deal with complex family issues better than usual!

I'm 7DPO today. Woke up in a hot flush feeling very headachey. Still quite hot and red-cheeked, and it's not because of the weather! It's really cooled down where I am.

Carysmatic · 29/07/2019 17:02

@Bezalelle @Namechangeymcnamechange11
How are we doing? I'm 8dpo today I think, no real symptoms to speak of except sensitive nipples still, even the cramping feeling has eased off. No nausea or anything when I think this time last month I was feeling nauseous. In all honesty I feel the same as you @Namechangeymcnamechange11 I don't think we've been successful this month. I've got a bit of creamy white CM but again I feel like I had more this time last month with my BFP. I also feel a lot calmer this TWW, I think being ill at the beginning took my mind off things, now me and DH have a few days off together so we're keeping busy, it's when I have days off in the week while DH is at work that I get into my head, but thankful I've got plenty of distractions right to keep my mind off things right now.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 29/07/2019 20:14

@carysmatic that's great that you've got stuff to take your mind off it. I think that's probably the best way forward - a watched pot never boils and all that.
I'm fine, I'm sure there's no success this month. DH got my hopes up a bit yesterday as I fell asleep on the sofa in the morning while he was out shopping, so he threw in a comment about it being a repeat of the week before I found out I was pregnant with DC1. It's not, well I'm 99% sure it's not, I've just had a very busy few weeks at work and barely any free time at the weekends 🤷
Btw I downloaded that app carysmatic, it looks really good, I'm going to try out the LH strip recogniser thing next month.

Bezalelle · 29/07/2019 21:40

Evening!

I'm 8dpo today as well.

Did a yoga class this afternoon, and felt proper weird in the belly area. I used to do yoga every day but haven't for a while because I do more weightlifting classes now. Not sure if the weirdness was down to this, or possible pg.

Still getting creamy CM but not as much.

Boobs sore on and off, but not sure whether it's from the weights class I did on Fri. Yesterday I was at an interfaith event with my Rabbi, and when I hugged him goodbye, my boobs really hurt (now there's a sentence I never thought I'd write!)

I go between convincing myself that I'm overly symptom spotting, and thinking this could be my month. I err on the negative side though. Not sure why. Just a feeling, I guess.

Carysmatic · 30/07/2019 11:41

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 glad you like the app, I think it's a good one. I've found it really helpful when using opks.

@Bezalelle they all sound like very promising symptoms. Fingers crossed for you. When is AF due for you and when do you think you'll test?

My cycle is all kinds of messed up. So last cycle I ovulated on CD 13 and this cycle I ovulated late on CD 17 so 9DPO last cycle I was only on CD 22 but I'm 9DPO today and on CD26, my cycles are usually 28 days so in theory AF is due in a few days but surely it'll be later because I ovulated late right? I looked back in my apps also and realise that I didn't start having symptoms of PG until 9DPO so all my nausea and stuff was only just starting this time last cycle. I don't feel nauseous today but I feel like my tastebuds have really changed, like I was eating some of my favourite yogurt for breakfast this morning and it tasted so weird, I thought it might be off but the sell by date is like two weeks away. Sorry for long post. I'm just super confused about my cycle now and when AF will arrive.

Bezalelle · 30/07/2019 12:03

It's good to write things down on here, @Carysmatic - helps to get your head around it all!

My AF is due on Monday next week. Depending on how I feel over the weekend, I will test on Monday. Going to visit DP on Fri until Tue for wedding planning, so it will be nice to test together. He's so supportive, and way less anxious than me. He's totally fine with this process taking a while, whereas I want to be pregnant NOW!

Carysmatic · 30/07/2019 12:14

Yeah this cycle has totally messed me up. It's good to work through dates on here because I'm so confused. Going by last few months, AF seems to arrive 14-15dpo so by that I'll be due AF on Monday the 5th same as you, which will mean my cycle will be 32 days long this time instead of 28, but like I said the CP has really messed my cycle up. I'm going to try and hold off until AF is late. Let's try and hold out together!! Xx
