I'll kick things off...

Strawberrye
Age 28
TTC #1 since October 2017
Very early losses all around 5 weeks January 2018, April 2018 and November 2018
Diagnosed hypothyroid December 2018 and thyroid function stable for 6 months now
Seen by local RMC and by Professor Quenby in Coventry. Local RMC were awful. Professor Quenby repeated some tests and gave me some progesterone to try from 7dpo to 14dpo, continuing if BFP because she thinks my issue is implantation related.

I have my appointment for my results on Friday and am currently 10dpo so just getting used to the progesterone pessaries. Test day is Wednesday, so it's going to be a nerve wracking week! I am feeling quite positive though and trying to remain hopeful.

Hi all!

Avocuddles, 35, TTC #1 since June 2018
1 MC at approximately 7 weeks in May 2019 after a naturally conceived pregnancy, however prior to that I had been referred for fertility treatment due to very long cycles / belief that I wasn't ovulating.

I never managed to achieve a positive opk prior to my (surprising!) pregnancy, however excitingly today, 38 days after my loss, I've seen my first ever solid smiley opk! Excited to know that ovulate even if this doesn't turn out to be my month. Off on holiday next weekend so guess I'll have to take both pregnancy tests and tampons with me.... Shock

VenusStarr · 30/06/2019 08:12

Thank you for the new thread @strawberrye 🐧

VenusStarr
Age 35 (36 in 2 months)
TTC 18 months
MMC April 2019
Currently under fertility clinic, have multiple fibroids but all other tests are fine and dh's SA was ok. I've had an hsg in June - one tube OK, one unsure, due hysteroscopy in August.

In my tww now, unsure of dpo as not tracking cycle but have clear ovulation symptoms so expecting af around 10-12 July. I've struggled to visualise being pregnant and having a baby since my miscarriage but this month is the first time I have felt optimistic and that it could happen.

Glad you are feeling hopeful, good luck this week @strawberrye 🤞

VenusStarr · 30/06/2019 08:12

Yay for a positive opk @Avocuddles 🤞

Kayjay2018 · 30/06/2019 08:31

@strawberrye
Thanks for the new thread!
Age: 38
TTC #2. #1 is now 15 years old so big age gap
Cycle 9
Natural MC at 7 weeks back in April
Currently seeing a fertility reflexologist to get my cycles back to normal and reduce my anxiety levels (which seem to be bad since MC)

Currently 6dpo, due AF around 7th July

fnej01 · 30/06/2019 08:45

Cycle 2

Ginmonkey84 · 30/06/2019 09:49

Hi ladies

34
TTC number 3 following miscarriage on 10th June 2019 at 8 weeks. Surprise pregnancy.

ICSI in 2012 resulted in twins born in 2013. Had three miscarriages 06 and 07, couldn’t conceive naturally after car crash that resulted in male factor infertility (antisperm antibodies) trauma related.

Cycle 1 - Currently 4/5dpo

KnitKitty · 30/06/2019 09:55

Hello ladies,

Don't forget to pop on over to the sister thread when you get those BFPs!
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/3608075-The-Graduates-of-TTC-after-pregnancy-loss-thread?noti=1#88190139
Looking forward to seeing you all there for more support when pregnant after loss. What a long journey this is, but how wonderful that we all have each other.

I've been popping on to the TTC thread every-so-often to see how you're all getting on. Fingers firmly crossed for all of you. xx

(Possible Trigger warning for below:

I'm doing well. Currently 9 weeks. Had a second EPU scan on Friday and baby is thriving. After 4 losses last year, none of which grew past 6 weeks, this is a really alien concept and hard to get my head around, but I'm starting to dare to hope that this one is my rainbow; it's already doing so much better than any of the others did. So don't lose hope... Even after multiple losses, there is still hope.)

AliceRR · 30/06/2019 11:12

Hi ladies

I’m 35
TTC #2 after my daughter was stillborn at full term in February 2019
Cycle 3
8DPO

Mistymeow · 30/06/2019 12:24

Hi everyone

Thanks @strawberrye for the new thread. Aww baby penguins, so adorable! Good luck for your appointment.
@KnitKitty lovely news! I hope you’re feeling a bit more reassured and can start enjoying the pregnancy.

Ttc #1 for almost 3 years
Age 35
2 x MMC in 2018 and 2019 (both discovered at around 10 weeks)
Male factor infertility means we are eligible for ivf but currently waiting to be seen by Dr Shehata before we proceed (appointment mid July)

I’ve not been around much due to travel but I’m back in the uk, currently 7dpo. I’m starting to look more at the infertility board to gear myself up for ivf but I still read this thread and will help when I can. Thankfully my cycles have settled and I think this is largely down to my state of mind- I’m a lot calmer than I was when it first happened last year. I’ve been listening to some free mindfulness podcasts which I’ve found relaxing and generally am feeling a lot more positive. Sending hugs to those who need them Flowers

Squiff70 · 30/06/2019 13:17

Hi everyone, thanks for making a new thread.

Age: 37 in a few days...

Due to ovulate on 2nd July so currently CD 11

Navy123 · 30/06/2019 14:11

Hi all, thanks for the new thread.

Navy123
Age 29
Ttc#2 - 3 mcs before having DS, and 3 so far since.
CD1 for me - af has kindly shown up 3 days early this month. Makes me doubt when I ovd, and pretty sure we missed our chance! Been referred to gynae (no rmc here) and had blood tests done this week to check hormone levels, blood clotting and lupus screen. Torn between wanting them to find something fixable and wanting nothing to be wrong.

Constance1234 · 30/06/2019 18:31

Hello, thanks for the new thread :)

I’ve been ttc #2 since September 2017.

Had a pregnancy of unknown location in July 2017 which I ended up miscarrying naturally at around 9 weeks, and had a missed miscarriage the week before last which was fine at a 7 week scan, but a scan at 9+3 showed that the heart had stopped a couple of days before. I had an erpc the following day and now just waiting for my period to return so we can try again. Also waiting for test results to come back to see if the last pregnancy had a chromosomal issue. I am kind of hoping it did as if it was normal that would mean somehow my body killed it 😭

@KnitKitty I’m so pleased to hear things are going well :)

Constance1234 · 30/06/2019 18:31

*July 2018 that should have said!

Frillyfarmer · 30/06/2019 19:31

Thanks for the new thread @strawberrye

I'm currently on the grads thread having got my BFP last week but I'm still reading this thread - I think it's really useful for us to all share experiences on MC and I know I've found @Yukka input invaluable when I've been TTC!

So, age 29
TTC #2 since Oct 2018
MC @ 6weeks in Jan 2019
MC @5+3 in May 2019
Currently 4+5 and whilst I'm trying to stay positive, early PG after MC is just a dark lonely place.

I've never seemed to have problems getting pregnant (DS was conceived first month trying) but getting them to stick has been an issue. I'd decided to take baby aspirin after a convo with my GP following MC#2 who said it couldn't hurt. Fingers crossed.

I hope this is the thread with many many more rainbows 🌈 xxx

@strawberrye thanks for the new thread

I'm 38
Been here since thread 15 on and off.

I've had multiple losses, mc, cp, cp, mmc, mmc, mmc and cp. AF due 2nd/3rd July no sign of a rainbow yet. Under investigation at local rmc. Not feeling hopeful for my next appointment in August.
My latest bbt charts would suggest either I've stopped ovulating or have very low progesterone. I've an appointment for progesterone test 22nd of July so hopefully will know more then.
Not at all confident or feeling positive about anything at the moment. Hoping things will be better soon. Either there's nothing wrong and it really is just the most horrible bad luck ever or there's something wrong and I'm praying they can fix it. I have this horrible feeling it's early ovarian failure (I fit so many of the symptoms) and if it is that will be the end of our journey 😭

TinyPaws · 30/06/2019 21:04

Thanks for the new thread!

I'm Tiny, 33. Been here since it was all fields. In a same sex relationship. TTC#1 since January 2018 via donor IUI/IVF, although was undergoing fertility testing/on waiting lists for 9 months before that. 3 pregnancy losses in April, July and December 2018. No definitive cause found but immune issues suspected. About to start a FET cycle supported with progesterone, clexane and steroids (although I was on progesterone for loss #3 and it didn't help).

AliceRR · 30/06/2019 21:05

I hate saying this as I really don’t want to upset anyone but I do find it a bit odd hearing from those who got their BFPs weeks ago posting on here (beyond announcing it and getting congrats). I know you’re anxious too and worried about what might happened next but surely that’s something you can all discuss on the graduate thread as you’re all in a similar boat. I don’t mind all the time and I’m pleased for all of you who are expecting already but when I’m having a bad day (I’ve had a few bad days recently so maybe that’s why I’m saying what I’m saying) it can get to me and this is a safe place for some of us to escape all of that. If I’m on my own in thinking this then tell me so and I’ll just stay away when I’m feeling a bit sensitive.

CodlingMoth · 30/06/2019 21:18

CodlingMoth
Practically 40. 2 DC already, one of which took 3 attempts. Trying to have dc with lovely new dp. So far we have 4 miscarriages in 12 months.
Due to past history I'm sure I'm the problem. Waiting for gynae appt for investigations.

CodlingMoth · 30/06/2019 21:22

I thought I was doing alright. Seeing babies just makes me go gooey and all awww. That was until tonight, when I clocked someone in a neighbouring caravan (we're on holiday) has a teeny tiny. Have been holding back tears for 2hours now. DD said I looked tired!

Frillyfarmer · 30/06/2019 21:37

@AliceRR the reason I was still checking in on here was mostly because the first MC of this year was quite a complicated, drawn out situation and when I was going through it I found it really very useful to read about other people who had gone through similar situations. There have been quite a few occasions on these threads where I feel like my experiences have helped others going through the same (and vice versa) and that's quite comforting when you're feeling so alone (as I'm sure you know). For any of us that have had BFPs, there is obviously a very real fear of coming back onto these threads and in general I do like to see how people are getting on as you get attached to peoples journeys. But I'll take your point and not post any more, I'm sorry it's upset you, it wasn't intentional.

pinkoi · 30/06/2019 21:40

Hey!

I'm 36, 37 soon. DP is 53
TTC no 2 DD is nearly 5
Been trying for about 4/5 months. MC at 6w in May which took me totally by surprise as I didn't know I was pregnant until the miscarriage started.

Thanks for the support about my partner on the end of other thread.
It did calm down and we had a chat. He was worried about other stuff, turns out he was thinking about his older son who is having a rough time at the moment and he couldn't take onboard my worries too at that point. I don't know why it had to get to that point before he told me that, but there we go...
You are all totally right that I don't deserve to have been on the receiving end of it, TTC is so mad as it is.

Hope everyone is OK this evening
Xxx

AliceRR · 30/06/2019 21:41

I get it @Frillyfarmer and I’m sorry if I upset or offended you. I also don’t want to make you leave the thread immediately as I know it’s v early for you and it’s not only about my feelings.
