Do any of you ladies take evening primrose and how has it helped you

InDreamland · 04/07/2019 17:28

@fnej01 @Avocuddles thank you x

DuvetCaterpillar · 04/07/2019 20:20

Despite my determination to ostrich it out, I cracked and tested last night - BFN. Still no AF after four days, but now more inclined to think it's just a weird cycle / some sort of stress response. It's disappointing, but good to have the headspace back, and the unhelpfully hopeful bit of my brain says we could check again at the weekend if still nothing.

What I wouldn't give for an internal sun roof so I could open myself up and see what on earth is going on in there! Hope you're all doing OK, and able to enjoy this gorgeous sunny evening Smile

Hi guys, so I miscarried at 9 weeks naturally but kept bleeding so needed a d and c to take out a remaining fragment. The op was on the 10th of June. Because of a medical issue with my other half we need to ttc ASAP so are not waiting for my next period. I was using OPK and got two fertile peaks on the 14th and 26th of June (which confused me). Anyway both times we dtd.

Over the past three days I have had very light spotting. So I’m not sure if this is implantation bleeding or my period starting. Today I did have a small clot though and have read that isn’t great 😞 did a pregnancy test this morning and it said negative. The ovulation test showed a bit of lutenising hormone.

My question is - how did your periods come back. Did you have spotting at first or did they just start normally?

Good luck to everyone xx

@Internetaddictgirl hello and welcome to the most supportive group of wonderful ladies I've ever met. I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you find this a safe place to ask questions, offer advise and even just rant when you need to.

As to your question, I'm not the best person to answer this as I've had many problems and still am. I'm sure some of the other ladies will be able to answer the question much better than me.

Be kind to yourself x

Frillyfarmer · 04/07/2019 21:07

@Internetaddictgirl firstly very sorry for your loss. Did you do a home pregnancy test after your D&C? If not, the early OPK could have been picking up leftover HCG from the previous pregnancy and showing as a Peak, and the Peak on 26th may have been accurate? Unfortunately after a MC sometimes your cycles do go a bit mad - if just keep tracking your symptoms and perhaps if 26th was your peak you're in the 2WW 🤞🏼

Internetaddictgirl · 04/07/2019 23:17

Weirdly, I did a couple of pregnancy tests before the D and C and they all said not pregnant, so maybe it’s just my hormones going haywire! Thanks for the suggestion though xx

Internetaddictgirl · 04/07/2019 23:20

@Lilimum7 thanks for your sweet message and I hope you are ok xx

Internetaddictgirl · 04/07/2019 23:22

@Frillyfarmer I’m just reposting this again as am new to this and realised I didn’t mention you in the comment.

Sweetpea12 · 05/07/2019 17:56

Hope it’s ok I join this thread. I recently had MMC on 6th June followed by a D and C on 24th June. Find the whole TTC aspect difficult as I haven’t a clue about ovulation (I sound ridiculous saying that but it’s true Confused) I had a negative pregnancy test a few days after the d and c but was showing that I was ovulating for two days towards the end of that week and then back to negative readings. Can I ask if anyone who had a d and c bled the week after it? I’m unsure if it’s bleeding associated with procedure or my period came and I would like to try for a baby soon

Ginmonkey84 · 05/07/2019 18:31

Hi ladies I got my positive pregnancy test today, still in utter disbelief as it’s so soon after my miscarriage. I never thought in a million years I would be one of those women who get pregnant straight away after struggling for so long but I just wanted to say I wish you all the very very best. I just hope and pray this will work out. I truly hope it all works out for you girls very very soon and I’m sure it will. X

Avocuddles · 05/07/2019 19:13

@Ginmonkey84 congratulations and how exciting for you! How long ago was your miscarriage? It's great to hear a positive story! X

Ginmonkey84 · 05/07/2019 19:49

Thanks @Avocuddles it was only 3 weeks and five days ago. My bleeding stopped after three days and and I ovulated on day 16. I actually can’t believe it. I’ve been testing everyday since 6dpo I just had a feeling and I got a positive today. Feel a mixture of emotions but just trying to go with the flow. X

So happy for you @Ginmonkey84

@Sweetpea12 hello! I’m new too. I had a d and c on the 10th of June and spotted on the 15th for a day. My period I think has just started after 4 days of spotting, but it’s still very light. Hope this helps.

Navy123 · 05/07/2019 21:55

Congratulations @Ginmonkey84, fingers crossed this is a sticky bean.

Avocuddles · 05/07/2019 21:55

@Ginmonkey84 wow that's great. How many days post ovulation are you now? It's amazing that you ovulated - and conceived - so quickly! I'm 4DPO now but took me six weeks to ovulate after mc. Wishing you lots of luck for a sticky bean x

Ginmonkey84 · 05/07/2019 22:04

@Avocuddles I know it’s absolutely crazy! I’m 10/11dpo I honestly felt we would be trying again for years. We tried for 6 years then had the twins via ivf then almost another 6 years of nothing until I got pregnant by complete surprise. I tracked my ovulation immediately after my miscarriage and thought il give it a go not really expecting anything to happen. So I’m feeling completely amazed right now x

FirstTimeMama91 · 06/07/2019 11:19

Morning ladies, hope everyone is keeping well.
I've been taking it easy since MC started on Monday. Have decided we're going to go on holiday, drink, have fun and then try again after that.
I thought it was weird this time as I didn't pass any clots?? Can that be normal. It was just bleeding but no clots and I was only cramping for the first day. Totally different from last time x

Navy123 · 06/07/2019 16:30

@FirstTimeMama91 how far along were you? Sorry if you've said, I can't keep up in here! 2 of my chemicals were like you said - not much cramping and no clots, better than af usually is! Others have been worse though, can't see the pattern with it tbh.

TinyPaws · 06/07/2019 16:58

Congratulations @Ginmonkey84, fingers crossed it's smooth sailing for you from here on in.

FirstTimeMama91 · 06/07/2019 18:52

@Navy123 from LMP I was 6+5 but I think I ovulated late so around 5/6 weeks. Suppose each MC can be different I dunno x

Navy123 · 07/07/2019 11:45

@FirstTimeMama91 yeah they do all seem different. I also found that if my mc wasn't too bad my next af was horrendous - like it hadn't all 'cleared out' the first time so had to do it again. No idea if that is medically correct at all!!

FirstTimeMama91 · 07/07/2019 19:00

@Navy123 oh no that prob will happen to me next AF then.

Today was a hard day. Been filled with anxiety and couldn't stop crying this morning Sad just feel down. This time last week I was pregnant and everything was perfect. Also my birthday is next week and I should've been 20 weeks in first pregnancy. Was gonna do a gender reveal cake for my birthday cake. Just feel shit, it's not fair we all have to go through this xx

Lilimum7 · 08/07/2019 02:51

Right ladies I'm cd5 and hoping for a good cycle. I've embarked on a few new routines this cycle to try and relax and hopefully get my hormones back in balance. I'm trying fertility yoga and fertility self massage.
I think I need to relax more and stop with the obsessive behaviours ( alot easier said than done). I've set times for opks (poas was becoming an obsession) and no more early testing.

Russkispy · 08/07/2019 06:27

Ladies, last day of holiday here and decided to take a FRER as we needed to let the clinic know about my days of AF so we can start preps for donor egg! Today is cd31 (not sure when AF after MMC) and BFP! I'm absolutely pooping myself here! As only in May I had a missed miscarriage and it was horrendous after d&c. I'm trying to stay calm! And maybe all the changes in diet and supplements we made after seeing a fertility coach, did the trick!? I just don't know. But today I'm pregnant! And breathe....
