Anyone in the TWW???

Hi everyone,

So as the title says is there anyone in the TWW?
DH and I said we would try for number 2 after summer but whoops we've had a couple of slips. I looked at my ovulation app (which has never failed me before to get pregnant) and both times it was in my fertile days.

So here's the confusion.. I apparently was in my fertile days from 8th-13th June.
13th June being the day of ovulation. We DTD 8th June and 11th June. The last couple of days I have had very bad cramps low down. This can't be implantation yet so was it ovulation pains? My CM was snot like some of it thick but also some of it was slippery too sorry TMI!! am so confused, feeling I've missed the boat.
This TWW is stressful. I've never temped or taken OPK's as it's always been quite easy for me to fall pregnant (I've had a lot of miscarriages )
We are lucky enough to have a DD though.
DH is actually quite excited that we could be pregnant but I just don't know and feeling quite impatient!

@Abi58 Did you manage to get an appointment? Mine didn't go great, because I have had one successful pregnancy they won't do an early scan 🙄 basically need to get on with it and stop worrying. Easier said than done eh!?!

@RoRosmama yes I did 😁 ...they wouldn't do anything? I asked for bloods and dr said they don't offer that, didn't realise quite how worried I was as I've only spoken on here so talking out loud about it was more real and I got a 'bit' emotional but then he looked and said he would do it 🤷🏻‍♀️ had 1st blood test at lunch today and got 2nd Monday morning 🤞🏻 it shows an increase.

Will you go private? You can pay to get bloods and early scan? I think k I want to get an early scan but it's something to talk about with my husband when I finally tell him 🙈

Oh my days. So I test, walked out the room in a huff. Came back and saw a very faint (but there) line.
Now I'm not so sure 🙄 I think I've gone crazy. Also, if I'm pregnant I should not have drank that much yesterday 😮😳

I've sharpened it but I know you can't see it still.

People do all sorts though their pregancy. If you are, I think you'll be ok.

I've just thrown my test in a huff. Still nothing showing. I thought I might have seen something yesterday but hormones double each day so I should see something now...

@MrsHufflepuffMS ugh its so frustrating.
I'm still just waiting for AF. They must be dodgy tests or something.
I can't stop myself testing though.

@Treaclepie19 @MrsHufflepuffMS with you both, I've not tested since Wednesday night as worked late and then had my mum over last night so luckily have been occupied. Still getting that very faint brown spotting but no symptoms of pregnancy or AF- grrrrr just want to know!!
Are you both going to wait to test again tomorrow or leave it till AF? I have a feeling I may be tempted before Tuesday but only have 2 tests left so don't want to waste any 😫
@Abi58 that's great news that your Dr tested you for bloods and the results were good- when do you think you're going to tell hubby?

@RoRosmama sorry to hear you didn't get the tests/scans you wanted, on the flip side it's a positive sign though that they don't feel the need to. Hopefully you can relax and start to enjoy it ☺️

I think AF has just arrived. Its light but it's there .

Hi all,

Just an update that it was definitely AF for me. I've had a day or two to be sad but have pulled myself together now. Had to give my head a shake as it was cycle one and I'd only taken my pill for 2 weeks the month before so think my cycle was a bit whacky anyway.

I've out my big girl pants on and going to try and be less obsessive next month and try and just enjoy it and see what happens. Going to try the SMEP I think and the OH is excited about all the sex 😂.

Sorry for all of you that didn't get the results you were hoping for. For those that did I'm wishing you allllll the luck in the world and hope to hear more good news soon!

@LA89 It was cycle one for me too so I understand. You sound positive now though :)
I'm half way there, pretty bummed, but have a practical out look. I'm going to know a bit more what to expect next born and I have a lot less stress going on. Like you say it's a good excuse to have lots of sex :)

We should totally be cycle 2 buddies then!

I think it's hard not to obsess particularly month 1 but we have to remember that our bodies have had no time to even settle into a normal cycle.

We just have to remember there's no reason at all to think there's any problem and to enjoy the excitement of deciding to try.

Fingers crossed for both of us next month and let's definitely keep in touch! X

@Abi58 so pleased you had good blood results. Let me know how Monday goes hun. I don't think I'll go private. TBH I'm feeling more relaxed and I can't stop bad things happening, if it happens it happens but all I know is I feel utterly crap constantly so I'm sure that's a good sign. I'm grumpy, exhausted and bloated oh and Uber hungry 🙄😂

I dont have the results yet I should be able to get the 1st result Monday/tues and then Mondays result to check rising on weds id guess 😁

@RoRosmama yeah I'm thinking the same💕 oh I'm so bloated as well I look about 6 months!! 😩
Not yet 🙈 we've been out all day I was debating whether to wait til tomorrow but I've decided I'm going to do it tonight 😁 got him a thermal colour changing mug so I'll get him to make us a tea and him use that later 😁🙈🤞🏻

@MrsHufflepuffMS @LA89 sorry to hear AF has arrived for you both, I think I may be with you both too... spotting has now turned to a bit more but not full on AF.... think it'll be full blown by tomorrow. Had a little cry and hopefully feel better tomorrow.

@RoRosmama that's a really good outlook to have, difficult to manage at times but great if you can keep on going back to that way of thinking.

I'm out ladies. Af has come. Cruel since I can still see something on these tests. Maybe they're not so reliable anymore.

I am feeling OK quite moody 😂
We booked an early scan today privately. 20th July. I should be around 7 weeks and 5 days by then. I just need reassurance. I remember having an early scan with DD and I remember how much better it made me feel. That scan was through the NHS though as I had 4 miscarriages before her.
