Anyone in the TWW???

Hi everyone,

So as the title says is there anyone in the TWW?
DH and I said we would try for number 2 after summer but whoops we've had a couple of slips. I looked at my ovulation app (which has never failed me before to get pregnant) and both times it was in my fertile days.

So here's the confusion.. I apparently was in my fertile days from 8th-13th June.
13th June being the day of ovulation. We DTD 8th June and 11th June. The last couple of days I have had very bad cramps low down. This can't be implantation yet so was it ovulation pains? My CM was snot like some of it thick but also some of it was slippery too sorry TMI!! am so confused, feeling I've missed the boat.
This TWW is stressful. I've never temped or taken OPK's as it's always been quite easy for me to fall pregnant (I've had a lot of miscarriages Sad)
We are lucky enough to have a DD though.
DH is actually quite excited that we could be pregnant but I just don't know and feeling quite impatient!

Love to hear from you guys and your stories too!

Liv x

@Treaclepie19 💕

@RoRosmama yes he was! Very watery eyed and in happy shock lol!

Haha aw, I've been quite emotional 😂🙈
Keep feeling really sick not sure how long I'll be before I'm actually sick 🤢 and for some reason keep hiccuping 😩
Aw that sounds amazing! I think we are going to do one' where have you booked with? There's quite a few and no idea which one 🙈

Kiza · 30/06/2019 22:17

Thanks guys, are some cake and had some cuddles and feeling a bit better.
@Abi58 lovely story on how you told him and his reaction, wishing you all the best with it all and hope the sickness goes easy on you
@RoRosmama sorry to hear about your previous miscarriages, that sounds like an incredibly tough time for you. Hope the scan goes well and gives you some reassurance

SwimmerGirl40 · 01/07/2019 15:21

@Kiza
Sorry to hear that. We are on cycle 8 and the emotional roller coaster is tiring. Take care of yourself.

SwimmerGirl40 · 01/07/2019 15:23

@Abi58 @rorosmama
Congratulations and good luck!

RoRosmama · 01/07/2019 18:24

@kiza @SwimmerGirl40 Thank you 😊 sending love and baby dust your way xx

@Abi58 I live in Sussex so I just googled and there was a place near me called the scanning room so I just went with that one. Obviously read reviews and looked into etc, plus one of my friends went there and also recommended it to me. Where about are you? Have you got the pick of the bunch?
Really happy to hear DH is over the moo , yay!! X

@Kiza @SwimmerGirl40 thank you 😁 🤞🏻 for you both!!

@RoRosmama ahh so exciting! I'm in warwickshire and there's a fair few nearby so I need to research 😁
Thank you 😁
Got my beta blood results
Friday 159
Monday 579
Dr said strong rise so I'm feeling a lot better (also may have peed on another frer on sat to show husband and the test line was darker than the control 🙈)
How are you??

RoRosmama · 02/07/2019 19:53

@Abi58 yay!!! That is great. I'm
Thrilled your results were positive. It's such a relief isn't it and you feel so much more relaxed. Last night I had horrendous cramps in bed. I wanted to get up to check for blood but DD was in with me as she wasn't very well at all and I didn't want to get up and wake her up, anyway this morning no blood and the cramping has eased. I was so relieved. I'm still quite on edge if I'm honest.
Quite emotional today and a bit teary, DH came home and was like what's wrong and I burst into tears. He gave me a cuddle and was smiling as if to say ..."hormones" 😂
Have you found anywhere yet for a private scan?
I haven't POAS in ages. Just keep looking at my old ones. Digital one has obviously died now but I've got a pic so keep looking at that ❤️

Treaclepie19 · 03/07/2019 13:04

@Abi58 cd4 today! Decided to have a month off since we're going on holiday early august. Plus I drove myself crazy last month!
Hoping it will help me be nice and chilled out.

Abi58 · 03/07/2019 13:13

@Treaclepie19 I think a chill out and relax is just what you need 💕

RoRosmama · 03/07/2019 16:01

@RoRosmama yay! Yes definitely! 😁 it feels so far away 😂 is yours early in the day? I think mines at 11.30 without double checking

RoRosmama · 03/07/2019 16:08

@Abi58 mine is 9.30, it literally can't come any sooner. I should be around 7 weeks and 5 days by then. So
Nervous but just want to get it over and done with!
Are you looking forward to yours?

@RoRosmama yes definitely 😁 I'm so excited already!
Haha yes! ...or both of us 😲

Kiza · 04/07/2019 11:43

@Abi58 @RoRosmama great news on both your scans and what a coincidence they're on the same day!
@Treaclepie19 a holiday sounds great, are you going abroad?

We're currently looking for flights to Cape Town for new year so now having a couple of months off from TTC.
Have booked an acupuncture session for Monday in the hope that when we do start TTC again it helps, 10 months of TTC feels so long even though I know people say it isn't compared to the majority.

Abi58 · 04/07/2019 11:50

@Kiza thank you 😁
Oh wow that sounds like an amazing holiday! And a break might be what the dr ordered 💕 what sort of acupuncture is it? I've always been curious about it but I'm terrified of needles 🙈

@RoRosmama I've had to change my scan day 😩 that weekend is the only time we can travel to my dad to tell him the news so I've had to move it forward to the 17th but I'll share the pic when it's done just hoping. We can see something 😁 and that its healthy!
How are you feeling today?

Kiza · 04/07/2019 12:10

@Abi58 I've had acupuncture about 10 years ago for eczema and it worked so well. The needles going in were painless as they are so thin, however sometimes they 'twizzle' the needles to connect to your meridian points. I wouldn't say that was painful but it was an odd sensation that I didn't like so avoided acupuncture because of it.
I've been reading so much about how acupuncture helps TTC that I contacted someone and she said they don't have to 'twizzle' the needles at all so I'm going ahead with it!
Slightly nervous as I hate needles too but from what I remember you honestly don't feel them going in.

Treaclepie19 · 04/07/2019 14:34

@Kiza nope! Only going to Butlins but I just want to be able to relax and not worry about anything.
I'm really looking forward to it though :)

Abi58 · 08/07/2019 07:18

@Kiza oh wow! Good luck for today 😁 glad they won't be twizzling!

@Treaclepie19 that sounds lovely ☺️

@RoRosmama how are you feeling? I woke up this morning and felt like I was about to be sick, held it on not even wretched but i don't think it will be long before I have no choice 🤢

Kiza · 08/07/2019 20:59

Sorry about delayed response, for some reason I didn't get a notification?
@Treaclepie19 any holiday is a good holiday and hopefully the way stays lovely for you there!
@Abi58 Argh the nausea sounds awful, have you tried those ginger boiled sweets or ginger or peppermint tea? Some people say it really helps?
The acupuncture wasn't as bad as I thought, the woman was lovely and has a great sense of humour. Thankfully she didn't twizzle the needles as I must be super sensitive as was getting twinges just by her inserting the needles! Weirdly I felt all the needles on my right side but not my left and 2 of the needles were constantly moving whilst in me.
Have another session on Monday.
@RoRosmama How are you getting on?
@SwimmerGirl40 @MrsHufflepuffMS @LA89
How are you all going this cycle? ☺️

Abi58 · 08/07/2019 22:42

@Kiza I've been having sliced ginger in hot water and my vitamins have ginger in. Where do you get the boiled sweets from??
That's really good! Did you enjoy it?
That is odd I wonder whether one side is more sensitive?
What do you mean moving? 🙈

Kiza · 09/07/2019 06:11

@Abi58 a friend mentioned some pregnancy sweets she got from eBay that were boiled ginger sweets...maybe worth having a look.
Yeah in my tummy and foot it was like pulling 🤷🏼‍♀️ so weird, the woman didn't seem fazed so I went with it. Slept like a baby last night though!
