CP last month, hopes too high this month

Hi all,
Feel I'm just setting myself up for failure here...had a BFP quite unexpectedly last cycle (only dtd once and took ages for first bfp and bfp for my daughter I always thought was assisted by hsg). Unfortunately was a CP - accepted this pretty early on and glad it ended early if something was wrong.
My issue is this month I am convinced I'm going to get pregnant. The rumours of increased fertility after a CP and about 1000X the usual amount of ewcm, coupled with dtd 2 days before and suspected day of ovulation has me convinced.
I'm normally a realist and expected I was in ttc number 2 for the long haul (first bfp took almost a year then mmc, 2 d&c, investigations into scarring, also I'm 37) but can't shake this feeling. Someone please talk me down or at least tell me you've been there!? I know I'm going to feel extra crap when (if) AF arrives.

@Abi58 the line on frer got slightly darker today but other tests so faint still and zero symptoms- by now with daughter and mmc I had slight sore boobs and felt weird. Fed up of testing really so having couple of days off to hopefully see a difference one way or other. I looked back at tests with daughter and even cheaply tests were really positive day period was due. I know it doesn't feel right. You in tww wait now? I found the last one so loooong!

@Whyhaveidonethis good luck at the doctors, when is your appointment? Remember to tell them how its affecting your mental well being too, we often forget that side of it and just focus on the physical. It's such a draining and all consuming process

@Jeds55 aw sending you lots of hugs and positive vibes! If you are worried request a blood test but you can react differently each time so try not to get too hung up on comparing everything 🤞🏻 for you 💕

@Abi58 it's impossible not to symptom spot isn't it? The odd thing is the two times I've been pregnant (mmc and dd) it took me completely by surprise. Not too long until you can test, are you going to try hold out until AF due date (so so hard I know).

Still a rollercoaster here, had some good and bad tests ( I know I said I'd step away but just desperate to know what's happening)

The barely there one was yesterday pm, the one with line was this morning. Wee was very dark tho, sorry, so just think the concentration was higher

Even had some good lines on ic and ov test

These are the latest frer over last few days. Haven't done one today.
Had 1-2 on ckearblue digital on Weds too

So just confused. It seems like its rising but not very fast at all. Testing continuously is telling me nothing really, just giving me hope or flashing them
Know I've just got to ride it out time wise or get bloods checked but has been nightmare week with dd sick off nursery so had to take time off work so csnt get to doctors realistically now. Looked into private hcg tests so may do that. Have GP appt booked fo next thurs anyway so clinging on to that.

How's everyone else doing?
My partner annoying me as he says I need to stop thinking about it (which is sound advice) but doesn't understand that it's my body so I can't easily forget it!! Worried that its Ectopic or something as slow riding hcg a sign...but have no other symptoms of that so you can see where my head is at. At least its Friday

@Jeds55 I want to because I knownif I don't I'll just worry, I want to tell my husband when I know it's ok this time as bless him he was rightly reserved as I was worried but I feel like it took away the excitement and OMGwere pregnant moment away which I was really upset about. Also don't like the thought of keeping it from him. Obv if I did and it happened again I would tell him but want him to be able to be excited when I get a positive ...sorry for rambles does that make sense?

I doubt I'll have the will power to wait but I'm going to try!

I wouldn't say it's slow rising at all (and remember gps are adamant line colour isn't strength so try not to worry) if you look at ones 2 days apart you can definitely see a jump!

Thanks @Abi58 I feel.like I spend my whole life waiting for one thing or another at the moment. Totally get what you mean about the OMG we are pregnant moment not being there anymore. The first time I was shaking so much and crying with happiness - have a pic of us grinning at 5am with the test. Unfortunately as that one ended in mmc the next time with my dd we were so cautious, it was so different.
I'm going to do a digital on Sunday and hope its rolled over to 2-3 weeks as period was due probably yesterday so should have ticked over by then. I had a positive digital last month though so not getting hopes up. I used to be sp good at not testing early but now as I spot 4 days before i kind of know and not testing becomes impossible. Going to get doctor to test progesterone as spotting before period can be sign of low P.
I hope the days go quickly for you - the weekends tend to fly by so at least that's something. Got everything crossed this will be your month

Oh I didn't know that! My af is so light I could probably class it all as spotting 🙄 brought that up with dr last month after chemical and he assured me that that doesn't mean there's not enough there so I'm hoping he's right!

@Jeds55 Your tests look just like mine and I was worried they weren't dark enough but a blood test showed HCG at 219 so I think they look good!

@Jeds55 I think your tests are all looking good don't worry about spamming us that's what we're all hear for. No one else understands how crazy we are lol. I'm 5 dpo and af due on the 3rd already symptom spotting too @Abi58 feel like my boobs are a bit tender and got twinges. I'm just gonna be so disappointed I'd af comes I was so so happy last month when we thought we were pregnant fingers crossed for everyone. Sending you all baby dust xxx

@BaweB that's a good HCG level, how far gone are you? did your tests go this dark within the 3 mins? Mine taking longer than that to darken to this colour. Did you get HCG measured at docs or hospital?

@Jeds55 my FMU did not necessarily produce the darkest tests and they did not significantly darken over a period of days. In fact I stopped testing as it was unduly stressing me out. When they were as pale as yours (at about 14dpo) and not getting any darker particularly, my HCG was 279 by a hospital blood test. I would try not to keep testing as it will send you crazy and they're impossible to read!

I did take a digital at 14dpo which read 2-3 weeks but I have read that these are hellishly unreliable. If you're really worried then I'd go and get a blood test but remember that might not set your mind at rest as it's the doubling that matters!

I am now nearly 19 weeks pregnant and I promise my tests looked the same as yours. Good luck

Thanks @BaweB these tests are a nightmare, not sure why I continue to torture myself with them.
Did Digital yesterday with fmu and it was 2-3 weeks, which shocked me more than getting a positive in the first place. Then stupidly did some ICs yesterday afternoon which were good then thos morning with fmu which were lot fainter. Am annoying myself now.
Have zero symptoms at all but then early days I suppose. Just going to stop testing and do digital later in week. Got docs Thurs so will ask about them doing beta
