Does anyone want to join?

I have been TTC #1 for 15 months and had a MC at 8 weeks in February.
I am off to the GP tomorrow to try and get a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist.
Tried every trick and tip and old wives tale in the book to get a bfp!
It would be good to have a group of longer term ttcers to chat to.

@Mrs71 yes I'm definitely going for my 21 day test on Friday. I'm currently just waiting for the spotting to start as per usual but you never know part of me wishes that I have all these appointments lined up, about to start Clomid and then I get my BFP and it all works out and I don't have to bother with it all but I know that is wishful thinking. Hubby gets his results sometime this week too - hopefully no issues there but fingers crossed.

@FlapJackered hard to say which one, as there's literally a handful lol. Royal jelly/bee pollen/propolis, fertility supplement with agnus cactus and raspberry, CoQ10, evening primrose oil, vitamin D, fish oil. I stopped the muiltivitamin as there's folic acid in the fertility supplement. But I've never seen a more positive opk. Hoping it's good news. How are doing?

Feeling better today despite the fact that I've got a little bit of spotting today which I'm sure means af will be here tomorrow, 1 day early. I'm currently 10dpo.
Probably the hormones making me feel worse yesterday.

@muddypuddlejumping I totally understand your frustrations. I've got my AF now, so that's 11 cycles for us. Have felt really down this month. I always get spotting a few days before AF so that's a sure fire sign for me that AFs on the way.

I spoke to my GP and they're going to start the testing process, fingers crossed they don't find anything wrong, or if they do hopefully it'll be something that can be treated.

@muddypuddlejumping I know when AF coming as I get so teary eyed for no reason!! Bloody hormones.

How are you all ladies? Just wondering how long did it take you to get your results after day 21 blood test. I hope it’s quick for me.

@Mrs71 if your surgery is signed up to it, you can sign up to view your medical records online- I did. I like to be able to look at all the numbers myself because I am a control freak! Also, because what a GP says is 'normal' is not necessarily the full picture.

Well af has yet to make an appearance although I'm technically not due until tomorrow but as I had stringy brown cm yesterday and a little spotting, I thought that was it as it would normally start straight away. Anyway, this will of course be one of those evil tricks that I'm stupidly going to get too excited about but what can you do?! There's always hope otherwise we wouldn't still be trying each month, would we?!

@Goodyear2019 when are you starting? I'm going to try and go next week but I'm very apprehensive.

@KatBeCool right, if you get your bfp this month I will be buying all of those! 😂
I am good thank you! Feeling much better for the relaxing this month. Although going to start taking opks and temping again on Friday so the calm may not last!

@FlapJackered not yet surprisingly. I've even had a little poke around 🙈🤣 and there's no blood like normal so I'm a little surprised.

@Mrs71 for 21 day test results. I think it's about a week. I had standard blood test with NhS and it took over a week but that was because I did it the Thursday before Easter which resulted in a backlog.

Do you count DPOs from the day after Ovulation (ie you don't count O day itself)?
If so I'm 3dpo based on OPKs and I have a dull ache down below which worries me as it feels a bit like AF is coming which would be super early and mean I didn't ovulate again. Oh well, we'll see what the 21 day progesterone test shows - hopefully I get my results next week. I want to get them before I'm due to start on the Clomid although I guess if AF shows up early then all the more likely that I need Clomid I guess. I dread to think what the emotions will be like when on, I'm bad enough with PMT!

Soooo I just did these after just an hour hold and I can't bloody believe it!! Roll on the morning for some more frantic checking but either way this is the first sniff of a bfp in 15 months!!! 😬

Hi All, joining in here.

I have been ttc for a year. We concieved but had a miscarriage in December. I have just booked a gp appointment on 14th June to talk about my cycles but I have no idea what to expect? Will they do bloods or refer?
I'm worried about my periods, I am ovulating but then I start spotting really early, this month only 4dpo.. then I spot until I get AF bleeding for 10-12 days in total. I know this isn't right but I'm worried about the GP not taking it seriously.

@Newbie21 yes I count from the day after ovulation so ovulation day is 0.

Welcome @Tryingforkittens sorry to hear about your mc. That is good you have the ball rolling with the Gp. They will probably do day 3 and day 21 bloods and then possibly a sperm analysis for your husband and maybe even an internal scan for you. Then it will depend on whether they find any issues as to whether you are referred to a clinic or not. Spotting can be a sign of a lack of progesterone so it would be good to see the day 21 bloods as they would show if this is an issue and I think it is quite easily treated.

@FlapJackered @Mrs71 no FRER 😫 but I've got two more of those so I'll do those and I do have a clear blue digital so I guess if it comes up on those and is darker then it'll be a positive step. I'm in total disbelief after such a long time.

Confirmed this morning but I've barely slept through the shock of last night. Ladies thank you ever so much for your support this cycle and I wish you all the quickest journey possible to your bfp. I'll be keeping my 🤞🏼 that all goes well for me but I'd might as well stay positive for now.

@FlapJackered Thank you - makes me feel better the GP may do something to investigate. I really want to know the answer to the 21 day bloods. I think I dreamed about this last night!

My GP said they would do the 21 day test, which is a couple weeks away for me. I always feel a bit overwhelmed when talking to a the doctor so didn't ask as much as I should have. Does the 21 day test check that I'm ovulating? I use OPKs some months and according to those I am ovulating. I've seen some of you mentioned the 3 day test, is that done on day 3 of your cycle and what does that test for? Sorry if these are really obvious questions!
They said they would do a sperm analysis for my DH which he needs to make an appointment for but as we're coming up to my fertile week we're going to wait until after that. Because he needs to abstain for at least 3 days we didn't want to miss out on our chance to try this month.

@bunhead34 Mine starts this weekend, Saturday or Sunday depending on which of my two apps I go by. I know it's hard, but try to stay positive, every month is a new opportunity.
