Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

@MMama18 yeah if you've been thinking about it a long time then will feel like an age, so good for you the operation is under your belt and you can crack on with things though!
I'm feeling good, just really looking forward to getting these first few weeks out the way and can enter into safe period. I'm so excited to tell my family. I think when I come back from holiday I'll be about 7/8 weeks so will probably tell them then. 😊 How long did you wait with your DD? x

RudyRoo · 04/05/2019 13:42

Ps. Did another test this morning just to be sure - couldn't help myself. 😂

MMama18 · 04/05/2019 13:51

@RudyRoo haha that sounds like me, I was taking tests for days just to make sure! Glad you’re feeling well, my tiredness and sickness both really kicked in at around 6 weeks so try to enjoy these next few weeks!
My DH was actually away with work when I got my BFP and my DM was with me so she knew before DH! But we had a private scan done and then told close family after at about 7 weeks so about what you’re thinking. Didn’t tell friends or wider family until after 12 week scan x

@MMama18 I took another cheapy test today and the line is definitely darker than yesterday, so now that I have run out of tests I'm going to stop! That sounds good, about the 7/8 week mark. My last period was 2nd April - just checking does that make me 4weeks and 5 days now?!
I was thinking of booking into an early scan around 8 weeks too - can you remember how much your was?
How are you feeling today? Any more symptom spotting?! 🙈 xx

How are all you other ladies doing? I hope you get BFP soon! x

MMama18 · 05/05/2019 10:59

@RudyRoo yes 4w5d by my calculations too! I think it was £70, which is an extortionate amount of money for the grand total of ten minutes the appointment lasted, but worth every penny for the reassurance. After 6 weeks I’m pretty sure the MC risk drops by half weekly, by week 8 pretty sure it’s around 2% if heartbeat is seen so that would definitely put my mind at rest.
I don’t know 😫 6DPO seems too early for anything to be happening, implantation could happen today maybe at the earliest. I am still a pepperoni-pizza-face and my boobs have shooting pains in, so I’m just hoping it means I have lots of hormones floating about that’ll help maintain a pregnancy if it does start 🤞 x

@RudyRoo all good thank you 😊 been extremely bloated for the last couple of days and still relatively sore boobs so still keeping my fingers crossed! It's definitely helped me by being away as it's taken my mind off of thinking about it and helped me relax before I POAS on Wednesday!

@MMama18 fingers crossed for you! Haha the pepperoni pizza face comment made me laugh 😂 I know how you feel I've always had acne on my back and it's so annoying! Being on the pill definitely helped it but obviously now not being on it they came back with a vengeance 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Kiskacsa · 05/05/2019 11:16

@rudyroo great that you got a darkening line! Hoping your bean sticks good and proper :-)

@mama18 - joining you on 6dpo pizza face - I have dehydrated skin most of the time but I get real t zone oiliness around this time in my cycle. I’ve never tracked my luteal phase with temps before so hoping it isn’t short and the ovusense graph stays above the cover line! At least my glue ear is distracting...

MMama18 · 05/05/2019 11:34

I need to change my username to Pepperoni now 😂

@MMama18
Yes very true! That's good if it's not normal for you! Keeping everything crossed for you
When are you going to test? I'm feeling your pain with the pepperoni pizza (made me giggle!) I have it too!

@RudyRoo
Yeah hopefully! Not sure what's going on though, had 1 day of my usual light and day 2 was even lighter and now nothing... (didn't even need to use a towel or anything!) not sure that's good...either still not back to normal or something else.
Glad you're feeling okSmile virgin cocktails now Grin

MMama18 · 05/05/2019 14:53

@Abi58 I’ve never tested before 9DPO, but didn’t get a positive with DD until 12DPO and it was very faint, so going to try and hold out until 13DPO which for me is 12th, so still a week away! X

Me too I had backache for 6 days now which I never get and like a pulling sensation in my stomach my cm is white and more than usual I'm usually dry by now sorry tmi I also have really bad wind and heartburn yesterday I've never had that in my life not even with my other children

MMama18 · 05/05/2019 16:07

@Mummylanie3 that’s sounding good if none of it is normal for you! I’m waiting for any pulling/pinching as I felt implantation with my DD

@MMama18 I hope so I've just checked my tracker and my period is due Thursday so 4 days but I just don't feel like I normally do when it's going to come I suppose all I can do is keep testing in the mornings and see what happens

hiddenfigure · 05/05/2019 17:52

Fingers crossed for you all still in the game!

I came off the pill on Feb 28th and a few days later had my normal bleed.

My first cycle last 25 days, then the next one 33 days.

Now I’m currently on day 36 - period was predicted for Monday, I’m 6 days late according to the app.

I normally have a bit of spotting and cramps before my period since coming off the pill but nothing so far.

Not really sure what to do. As the cycle lengths are getting longer maybe I should just wait for a bit? Or take a test in the morning?

I have had a busy and stressful two weeks so I am not sure if that plays a part with period running late.

I guess as I’m still relatively fresh off the pill things are still settling down.

hiddenfigure · 05/05/2019 17:55

Also... is taking a test in the morning definitely more accurate? Has anyone taken a test in an evening and got a negative, only to re-take in the morning to get a positive?

Or if you’re pregnant then it won’t matter what time you take it? Just wondering how much credence people give to the morning theory!

MMama18 · 05/05/2019 18:24

@Mummylanie3 🤞🤞

@hiddenfigure I would test in the morning personally as wee should be more concentrated, but seeing as you’re already late you could probably test any time, I think the advice is though to wait 4 hours between wees and not drink an excessive amount, as the more watered down it is the less hormone can be picked up. Good luck 🤞

Right ladies I’m trying reeeeeally hard not to get over excited but I’m hoping I just felt implantation 😬

I’ve been looking out all day for any new signs or symptoms, so it could well just me being overly sensitive but I’ve just been putting DD to bed (she’s being a little pickle at bedtime just lately 😫) and I got a very sharp twinge in my lower tummy. Literally just above my pubic hairline, in the middle but slightly to the left and it felt at the surface near the front, not deep inside like wind pain. Lasted a few seconds then occurred another couple of times within about 10 mins, best way I can describe is like when you have a blood test ‘sharp scratch’...
Feels very similar to what I remember feeling with DD and I think that was at 7DPO so I’m feeling hopeful! DH isn’t nearly as enthusiastic about my pain though 😂 x

Ohhh @MMama18 that is exciting for you! If you have felt this last time then surely it is a very good indicator 😊 I'm excited for you! Did you have any other symptoms last time you were pregnant at this time? So have everything crossed for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼 how long are you going to be able to hold out before you test?! x

RudyRoo · 05/05/2019 22:19

@hiddenfigure it could be just that your periods are still settling back to normal. It took mine a while.....BUT....it could also mean youre pregnant! Only one way to find out...! Do you know when you ovulated and therefore how many DPO you are? I would probably do a test if I was you, I only ever did ones with first pee on the morning so I can't help you with your other question I'm afraid. Please keep us posted! 🤞🏼

MMama18 · 05/05/2019 22:43

@RudyRoo no other symptoms... just my pepperoni face and tender ish boobs, but pretty sure biologically you can’t really have pg symptoms until after implantation? So I’ll be unbearable the next few days 😂 I’ve had no spotting or bleeding though, and with DD I had a smear of pink next time I went to the loo... 🤞if this is the real deal it’s a nice sticky baby, I have good form for getting pregnant, I’m a terrible hostess though 😫
I’m going to try my best to hang on until 13DPO, that’s when I got a good line with DD (I want an unmistakable BFP like yours!)
I’d appreciate crossed fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes and anything else you can cross 😂 x

@MMama18 think of you and hoping it's implantation like you suspect! 🤞🏼 hope the next week goes quickly for you and try and keep as busy as you can so you don't have time to over-think! I'm really looking forward to going on holiday on Saturday as I really want to fast-forward these few initial weeks 😬 least it'll be a lovely distraction xx
