Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

Ha, snap! Saw rather than heard heartbeat - bladder was so full it was crazy uncomfortable! Have been feeling so tired and queasy and I’m bloated to the size of a house... but at least it’s all going well for the blob!

Abi58 · 15/07/2019 21:02

@Gatomum did you try them?

@Kiskacsa oh that's amazing!!! So so happy for you!! Have you got a pic?? 😍

I'm feeling pretty rough 😩 really nauseous and dizzy was sick this morning and spent half hour this evening thinking I was going to be sick hunched over the toilet. Poor husband bless him made dinner and I haven't touched it just managed some cereal instead. Been feeling cold all day and shivery 😭 only 6+2 and feel horrific lol

@josprout aw wow so so happy for you!!! Did you get a pic?? 😍
Are you being sick a lot I more feeling sick?

josprout · 15/07/2019 21:07

@Abi58 yeh we got a pic and usb. The sonography zoomed in with the Doppler on the heart and we heard it.
I've been sick quite a bit and feeling sick. I'm just eating when I feel ok.

Hi all! Sorry for the silence, we’ve been on holiday and had weddings and christenings and it’s been crazy busy 💤 Lovely seeing all your scans 😍 and great everything is going well for everyone! I’m 10 weeks tomorrow according to me early scan and I haven’t felt sick for 3 weeks now! Feeling tired still and bloated and sore boobs so hoping everything is fine and that I’ve just escaped with minimal sickness this time 🤞 I was sick as a dog with DD so maybe this little peanut is a boy?! 😂 xx

@Kiskacsa aww it's amazing!!! I bet you're so happy!! How far are you? (I know you'll have said somewhere but I have a brain like a sieve atm 😂)

@MMama18 sounds like you've been keeping yourself busy ☺️ wow 10 weeks! Good that you haven't felt sick 🤞🏻 it stays that way for you

Kiskacsa · 16/07/2019 12:01

@Abi58 9 weeks apparently. Booking in take two tomorrow (first time they couldn’t do bloods or urine because I didn’t have a hospital number!) and then NHS scan on 5 August when I’ll be 12 weeks almost on the dot. So relieved from scan yesterday that everything is going ok and also pretty relieved it’s not twins (I am a twin, and I’m 32, so there was a risk).

@MMama18 great to hear your nausea is down and that you’re doing well! My main problem at the moment is that I’m just so tired, and not sleeping brilliantly. Stupid bloating making me uncomfortable.

Abi58 · 16/07/2019 12:20

@Kiskacsa aww ☺️
How did you not have a hospital number?
Not long to go until your 12 week now and it's amazing you e had that reassurance in between 😍
Oh wow! Lots of people have said they think I'll have twins (no one knows yet just general chats with friends from a while back) I guess we'll find out tomorrow. I've had dreams of twins so who knows 😂 as long as whatever is in there is health I'm good :)

Kiskacsa · 16/07/2019 14:21

@Abi58 I only moved to the area a couple of years ago, so I’ve just not needed to go to the hospital - and an NHS number wasn’t enough to process my test results for some reason, so they needed to book the scan the generate the number. Which is all fine, but it would have been sensible to know this before I went...

Abi58 · 16/07/2019 14:26

@Kiskacsa ahhh I read it right but my head thought you meant nhs number 🙈 that makes sense but yes a bit annoying.

Gatomum · 18/07/2019 22:17

Hello ladies! Sorry about the radio silence! Work has been crazy with the end of my current contract.
Thank you for all the gorgeous news and photos on this thread! Such a happy one!
@Kiskacsa and @Abi58, been using the opks! I hope I’m getting this right! My delivery was late so I only started testing 2 days after what the leaflet says I should have but I got a very strong 2nd line! I can’t really say if it was the same colour as the other but since then the other tests have all resulted in much lighter lines. So maybe I’m an early ‘ovulator’!? If that’s a thing! Been dtd since I stopped bleeding though so hopefully we caught the right time! 🤞🤞
Someone else recommended this other thing: Advanced Fertility Monitor 1 Touch Screen Monitor (www.<a class="break-all" href="https://amazon.co.uk/dp/B00H4Y9EW0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_oF2lDbED57SCS?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-conception-3573387-Anybody-in-their-2WW" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">amazon.co.uk/dp/B00H4Y9EW0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_oF2lDbED57SCS ) Anyone ever heard/used it?
Keep updating us with all the lovely news, ladies! Love hearing the good news!

Abi58 · 18/07/2019 23:17

@Gatomum glad you're ok and keeping busy ☺️ sounds like you might have ovulated, what cd were you? I ovulate anywhere from cd12-15

I've not used that but I tried the clearblue advanced ovulation test (stick one with digital face) and it picked high fertility but I didn't get a leak despite having a definite positive on cheaply the night before and that night (that surge lasted 24 hours) so I personally won't use them again as they don't seem to work for me, they all do the same thing but the clearblue also monitors oestrogen which rises before lh so you get an extra heads up. Personally I think it's to help with timing and knowing when to test so if you're dtd regularly anyway and ok with the cheap ones you have just as much chance.

Abi58 · 18/07/2019 23:20

Also here's a little picture of my blob with a heartbeat 🥰 measured the same number of weeks and days we thought 6+3 saw the heartbeat and it was amazing 🥰

On the other side I feel awful and after the scan got home and ran upstairs to throw up...and as I was wretching I pissed myself 🙈😭😂😂😂😂...glamorous!

Baby is the top blob and bottom is the yolk sac 🥰

Awn @Abi58! That’s a lovely photo!
Sorry to hear you’re feeling rough but at least you can laugh about it! 😄

I think I might have ovulated between cd11-15. 🤞🤞 trying not to get too anxious about testing this month! 😬

Abi58 · 19/07/2019 06:03

@Gatomum thank you 🥰❤️

Aw yeah that doesn't seem out if the ordinary 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 ☺️if you keep ourself busy the time will fly by ☺️

MMama18 · 19/07/2019 09:20

@Gatomum it sounds promising to me! I only ever used cheapies when TTC DD but didn’t bother this time and we just DTD every other day from when I stopped bleeding to when my CM had gone past EWCM and back to sticky - hopefully you’ve caught the window too!
@Abi58 that’s a beautifully clear picture! I’m so sorry but I laughed so hard at your comment that I nearly pissed myself too 😂 the nasty sicky phase is often only the first few weeks so 🤞 it passes quickly for you! Xx

Abi58 · 19/07/2019 12:12

@MMama18 thank you 🥰
And hahaha 😂😂😂 it was just one of those 'well what can you do' moments 😂 my poor husband

Ah hopefully I feel awful it's more dizziness which is making the nausea worse and I'm struggling a bit as feel unsteady and when on the computer it's like it's swaying 🤢

How are you??

MMama18 · 19/07/2019 12:28

@Abi58 can’t complain, tiredness and sore boobs still but that’s all really. Had to pull out my maternity jeans already as I’m really starting to show now! My scan has come through for 6th August when I’ll be 12+6 by my current dates so excited for that ☺️ Xx

OP posts:
Abi58 · 19/07/2019 12:56

@MMama18 glad you're feeling ok and great news about your scan! Not far away either! ☺️

Omg I haven't even thought about maternity I'm in leggings today as so bloated (look 6 months) and uncomfortable! Where's good to go for them?

MMama18 · 19/07/2019 13:06

@Abi58 all of mine are Mothercare or jojomamanbebe (2 blue, 1 black and 1 set of dungarees 🙈) purely as SO many stores only do maternity online (which is ridiculous as if there’s ever a time in your life when you need to be able to try things on it’s when you’re pregnant!) but Mothercare and jojo stock them in store. I bought my black ones a few weeks ago in the sale at Mothercare for £14, also got some dresses for £10 each, not sure if the sale is still on xx

Abi58 · 19/07/2019 13:09

@MMama18 thank you so much that's good to know ☺️ I'll have a look!

Kiskacsa · 22/07/2019 15:27

@Abi58 congrats on your blob!

Feel so rough. My trusty cheese sandwich has failed me. Sigh. Wish I could properly stomach food - the nausea is so overwhelming.

MMama18 · 22/07/2019 16:05

@kiskacsa it’s all you can think about isn’t it! I know it’s hard but it is usually worse if you’re stomach is empty so if you can eat anything at all it might help! I sucked mints a lot this time which seemed to take the edge off, peppermint and ginger are both supposed to be good for nausea ☺️ Xx

Abi58 · 22/07/2019 16:34

@Kiskacsa thank you :) I'm hoping you on the feeling rough

As well as nausea have constant dizziness like the room is spinning after too many drinks 😭 it's unbearable. I feel like I'm being a drama queen but I am struggling to function 😭🤢

I agree little and often plain like crackers might help?

@MMama18 oo had no idea about mints, hubby is going to get me some polos now 😂
