Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

@MMama18 I was running late for work this morning and didn't have time to do a test! I was a bit anxious about it anyway but I am going to do one tomorrow with first pee. CD31 for me today and 14dpo. The only symptom I've had though is mild cramping....so I don't think it's looking super likely.

als2912 · 02/05/2019 09:23

@MMama18 I'm 7DPO but haven't really noticed many changes apart from slightly sensitive boobs! so don't want to get my hopes up too much yet 👎🏼

eggy22 · 02/05/2019 09:28

@MMama18 good morningggg!! :)
I am 8dpo and have resolved not to test until Monday bank hols. Felt really sick on the tube omw to work (also felt like I had drank dairy which I hadn't - don't know how to describe it was very weird).. Loads of cm but trying not to get my hopes up at all.
I was in quite a mood today and I feel like that writes me off this month as before my period I always get very moody (I hate my hair, I hate everything etc.) and I'm craving sweet things. My pregnancy that ended in a mc had me drinking stock cubes I was wanting salt so much..
How is everyone else doing?

MMama18 · 02/05/2019 09:53

@RudyRoo gutted for you that you didn’t get to take a test, at least tomorrow any HCG May have had a chance to build up a bit more🤞 a day can make all the difference

@als2912 7DPO is still early, it still could be floating about and not stuck down yet! 🤞

@eggy22 the willpower! 💪 Also, that’s really gross! 😂 totally feeling silly about my gagging over pomegranate juice when you were downing stock cubes 🤢

What really sucks is all these symptoms are both preg symptoms and AF symptoms, how cruel is nature!
I am going slightly stir crazy at 3DPO, I feel really hormonal. Like day before AF/I want to cry and sleep and shout and eat everything in sight!

I’ve got myself all flustered about why I felt ov pain (never had it before that I can recall) so now I’m thinking could I have released two eggs and that’s why it hurt 🤔 and now I’ve got two ex follicles releasing progesterone so that’s why I feel so hormonal 🤔 I’m driving myself nuts!

So I took a test this morning and this happened. I actually can't believe it! Shaking and in shock. 😊

Anybody in their 2WW?
MMama18 · 03/05/2019 09:07

Wowwww! That’s an amazing line! Massive congratulations, so excited for you!

Was DH with you when you tested?

Ooo I’m sure we’ve got a lucky thread here! 🤞🍀🤞🍀

(Side note, I’m afraid no nice Italian wine or prosciutto ham on your holiday! Shame... 😉)

als2912 · 03/05/2019 09:29

@RudyRoo congratulations! That's great news! how many dpo are you if you don't mind me asking?

I'm wondering if this month might be my month too, been feeling quite nauseous yesterday and today with dodgy stomach (sorry if tmi) and really sore boobs which I never normally get so keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏼 too early for me to POAS though I think as only 9DPO!

RudyRoo · 03/05/2019 09:34

@MMama18 thank you so much! I can't stop smiling. 😊 yes DH was with me and he is absolutely delighted too. After 8 months it felt like it was taking forever, so we finally got there!

Ha, I know, I was thinking that about Italy! I will make up for the calories lost in wine by eating more pizza 😂 x

@als2912 thank you! I am 15DPO today and managed to resist the urge of testing until today (too many disappointments in the past) I hope it's your month! I haven't really had any symptoms apart from some dull cramping. Boobs feel normal! x

RudyRoo · 03/05/2019 09:35

@als2912 if you can try and put off testing until 12DPO onwards. You'll just drive yourself mad otherwise! I'm so glad I held off this time. x

MMama18 · 03/05/2019 09:41

@RudyRoo Yes to the pizza! And you can scrap the pomegranate juice too you lucky thing!

@als2912 🤞for you and your symptoms! 9DPO is a bit early still, try and hold out a few more days. I’m resolved to try and be brave and to hold out until 13 DPO (chances are I won’t though! 😬)

If we get a few BFPs it’d be nice to start a pregnancy thread, as all the LO’s would have close due dates? What do you think?

Have you estimated a due date yet @RudyRoo?

OP posts:
RudyRoo · 03/05/2019 09:50

@MMama18 I know I was planning to go and stick up this weekend too! Phew!
It's I'm up for a pregnancy three definitely. I'm still letting it sink in and I have so much to think about! Worked out due date to be mid jan 😊
So am I right in thinking I just make a GP appt now? Or will I wait a week or so? x

RudyRoo · 03/05/2019 09:54

Sorry so many typos in that! 🙈

MMama18 · 03/05/2019 10:03

@RudyRoo yes but they’re such exciting things to think about! ☺️

It depends on your area I think, with my first pregnancy I went to doctors at 4.5ish weeks and said I was pregnant and her reaction was ‘sooo what do you want me to do?’ 😫 she didn’t even do a test to confirm, just told me to book in with midwife. With 2nd pg I held off in case it was another MC (quite rightly) and with DD I had an early private scan at 6w5d so I could see a heartbeat and then booked direct with midwife. But I know some people have had to have a POAS confirmed by a GP before booking with midwife so I’d ring your docs and ask x

RudyRoo · 03/05/2019 10:22

@MMama18 SO exciting! 😊
Ah I see, that's good to know. In that case I will maybe just hold off for a little bit and make an appt for next week and take it from there. That first doctor of your sounds like a right charmer!
How many DPO are you now? x

MMama18 · 03/05/2019 10:33

@RudyRoo oh she was, luckily she didn’t last at the practice very long. My midwife was amazing though so I’m hoping she’s still there.

4DPO 😫 I’m sure I should be further along by now 🤔 I keep opening my Flo app but I have no idea what I’m expecting that to do... maybe a big flashing sign that says ‘YOU’RE PREGNANT’ would be nice 😫
It’s boring and annoying but I know it’s the calm before the storm, once I get to 6/7DPO I’ll start symptom spotting like a woman possessed! X

Kiskacsa · 03/05/2019 12:05

Would it be ok to join? I’m 4DPO and crossing my fingers madly - was away from DH for a week after a crazy long cycle (ovulated on cd42) post an early mmc in my first cycle trying. Hoping that “on the day” deed doing will leave me with a chance. Gotta resist those sticks for at least another 10 days...

als2912 · 03/05/2019 12:13

@RudyRoo so excited for you!

@MMama18 yes that would be great setting up a pregnancy thread if all goes to plan! One good thing is that I'm away for this whole weekend camping so I've purposely not bought any tests so I'm forcing myself to wait till Tuesday by which time I will be 13DPO!

MMama18 · 03/05/2019 12:29

@kiskacsa welcome, sorry for your loss. I’m at 4DPO too 😫 we will try and resist POAS together! We’ve already had a blazing BFP on this thread so hoping the luck continues for the rest of us 🤞

@als2912 that’s a good tactic! 13DPO should be a good enough time to POAS, especially if your symptoms continue!

I’m trying to distract myself. I’ve been measuring up DD bedroom as we’re only in a 2 bed house (DDs room is a generous double though) and working out how I’m going to fit a bed for her, a cot and two wardrobes 😂 and then the CF in me is panicking about how the F I’ll decorate it if I have a boy next. Days need to go faster! 😬

Abi58 · 03/05/2019 21:54

@RudyRoo congratulations!!!!! That's amazing news!!!! How are you feeling?? Grin

@MMama18 the next few days will hopefully go a bit quicker for you! Always when you want it to hurry up time goes slower!

So this morning af arrived! A bit gutted but at the same time this is the first real period I've had in over 12 years (last withdrawal bleed was in March!) and I'm taking it as a sign my body is getting back to normal after the pill, bring on this next cycle Grin I'll be a couple of weeks behind but would love to stay on this thread if it's still going? Also love the idea of a pregnancy group!

MMama18 · 03/05/2019 22:08

@Abi58 sorry AF got you, but at least you have a good starting point now for next cycle!
So far it’s only Rudy that’s got her BFP so we could all end up a few weeks behind her, will just have to wait and see 🤞 that’s nothing really in pregnancy terms, especially with due dates, I could catch next cycle and my baby come early and Rudys be late and end up within a few days of each other! Pregnancy literally has no rules 😂
I’m 5DPO tomorrow so I’m hoping it’ll start to go a bit faster now that it’s biologically possible that things might be starting to happen, 1-5DPO is just depressing because you can have ever pg symptom there is and still know it’s impossible!

OP posts:
MMama18 · 04/05/2019 09:18

And so it has begun 😫 I woke up today at 5DPO with tender boobs and a skin breakout, neither of which is normal for me, at least until 1/2 days before AF (she should still be 9 days away!) I usually get a couple of little spots (if any!) around my chin bit this morning they’re on my chin, cheeks, forehead and hairline 😫 I literally look like a spotty teenager and my skin is sooo greasy!

OP posts:
RudyRoo · 04/05/2019 11:02

@MMama18 this could be a good sign if things are different from usual! Keep us updated and I'll have everything crossed for you! 🤞🏼 x

MMama18 · 04/05/2019 11:19

Thank you @RudyRoo I know it’s only my first cycle but we’ve been waiting to TTC for about 6 months as I was on a waiting list for an operation under general anaesthetic which I had done earlier in the year. I just feel like I’ve been waiting ages!
How do you feel today? I bet you feel like yesterday was a dream! X

OP posts:
Kiskacsa · 04/05/2019 12:05

Fingers crossed @mmama18 - 5dpo for me too, and my only unusual symptom is a worsening ear infection 😂 off to a wedding and being thankful that at least being this early in tww it’s safe to have a drink :-) sorry af visited @abi58 but good that you’re coming off the pill so quick, took me ages when I last had to - one of the reasons I switched to a coil!

RudyRoo · 04/05/2019 13:37

Thank you so much @Abi58 honestly couldn't believe my eyes and still having to pinch myself! So used to seeing a big blank test it's just so surreal, in a good way 😊 I'm feeling okay thanks, just a bit more tired than usual and trying to get my head around the no drinking at the weekends 😂
That's a good sign AF is back for you as your cycles seems to be getting back to normal pretty quickly. Roll on ovulation window for you! 🤞🏼
