Anybody in their 2WW?

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

Lol what a small world! How funny if we do know each other - once the bumps start to show I’ll be looking around thinking hmmm I wonder if that’s josprout 😂 I can make us a BFP thread? We can keep up with each other then as we go through?

Has everyone worked out they’re due dates yet by the way? I’m at 12th Feb after the scan yesterday xx

@Abi58 that was my calculated due date with DD! 😂 at 12 weeks they moved it forward to 28th Feb but she was born on 31st Jan

@RudyRoo I know you’re quite a bit further along than the rest of us but are you interested in a BFP thread? I’ll tag everyone across that wants to be in xx

I am 12 weeks today and have my scan on Friday...I'm counting the days, so desperate to see baby and make sure everything is okay! x

@mmama18 I’m pretty sure I’m 20 Feb based on ovulation. Will obviously need to see from the scan which I think will be a while away. A Bfp thread is probably a good idea!

Hello everyone! Wow, such a small world. I’m much more south, so won’t be able to spot anyone unfortunately! :)
Still managing to keep away from POAS but getting the itch!
Af is due early next week and yesterday I saw one single droplet of blood when wiping in the morning! Nothing since! Also very different from the other times when I thought I might be spotting but was only the beginning of AF. That has driven me crazy trying to symptom spot! Has anyone had their loo rituals disturbed by getting a bfp? Since yesterday it’s all been different! My boobs also feel heavy and a lot fuller! Can’t tell if I’m imagining it! Well, there’s also the chance I might be retaining water or just gained weight?! Argh! The wait is so hard!!

@Gatomum I’m south now too - London worker by day, generic leafy ‘burb by night. But enough in my accent to give away that I’m not a local ;-)

You’re being really good sticking away from sticks - keep it up! My lp habits weren’t especially different til later on tbh, just slightly more CM

@Kiskacsa hi. Yes I had booking in appt about 2 weeks ago and have another at the hospital in a week. Got 8 week scan on Monday.

How are you?

Been feeling very bloated still and nauseous. Boobs tender too x

@josprout I’m just so tired. Nauseous too, although not chucking up which is good. Booking in appointment on wed when I’ll be 7w6, still considering an early scan as I’m just so nervous that I’m getting excited over nothing. Exciting that you have one coming up - did you convince them on nhs or are you going private?

@Kiskacsa paying private. I'm exhausted too. But i have a 3 year old I'm running around after so not surprised.
Yeh exciting to see baby on Monday but with the constant nausea etc it's reassuring to have symptoms x

@Kiskacsa my scan was great! I'll attach a wee pic. Thanks for asking. It was such an incredible feeling to see him/her properly for the first time. It definitely makes it start to feel real and such a relief everything is going well. Feel incredibly lucky. x

@Kiskacsa my app is the 30th July 😁 have you had yours? Sounds similar to me I haven't been sick yet but having waves of nausea, this morning I thought I was going to but I wasn't we'll see how long that lasts. Why don't you do an early scan? I've booked one but it's really early at 6+4 but we wanted to check everything was looking ok before telling parents (which due to visiting is sort of 7 weeks or a month or 2 later)

@josprout glad to hear you're doing ok, my midwife won't even see me til 8 weeks 🙈
I'm with you on being bloated I look 6 months!

Thank you for the message, @Kiskacsa . Unfortunately AF arrived promptly on the expected date... I still don’t know what those droplets of blood were about. At least I finally got to see a GP who took me seriously and I’ve started to do some blood tests and got a scan booked for August. Hopefully we’ll get lucky before that but at least it feels better to have someone looking into it.
Anyone got a recommendation on good ovulation tests?

@Gatomum sorry to hear af arrived. Good that you e got things moving and 🤞🏻 you do get a bfp before then !

I used the one step opks, they just test for a hormone so they all do the same thing. It's positive when the line is as dark or darker than the control. Major benefit is they are cheap! Can get them on eBay and Amazon. Lots like the clear blue as clearer (smiley face) but I had 24 hours of positive one step opks (followed by a temp rise so I did ovulate and never got the peak on clearblue so didn't work for me and they are really expensive but some swear by them.

Just had an early scan this evening - measuring 9w with a good fluttery heartbeat. So relieved.

@Kiskacsa I've had my early scan today too! 8w3d and heard and saw the fluttering heartbeat too! So surreal. Feeling horrendous. Constantly sick but not as bloated now. Boobs very sore x
