Anybody in their 2WW?

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

@Kiskacsa yes 🤞 I’m still knackered and a bit queasy first thing in the morning so I’m hoping that means there’s lots of hormone floating about! We’ve got an early scan booked on 24th June at 6 weeks so I’ll feel a bit calmer then and hopefully won’t be looking for blood every time I pee 😫 xx

Totally feeling you @mmama18 - I’m 13 DPO now and still no AF and still positive tests, including a 25 mlu a couple of days ago, but still super nervous (and super tired!)

@kiskacsa I didn’t realise you’d had a BFP?! Have I missed it?! Congratulations x

@mmama18 - I only posted that I have a vfl 4 days ago... and I’ve been there before so not got too excited. But my temps have held stable and I’m definitely late for me (usually 31/32 and it’s now 34) so I’m going to be mega disappointed if this isn’t it!

I'm still in denial I think! Haven't told my husband yet! He was away last night and maybe away tonight so want to tell him face to face. Nice early Father's Day pressie! X

Thanks for asking, @josprout! I’ve got an appointment booked for this coming Wednesday and may also see another GP (who seems to be more involved with family planning/fertility stuff) in the first week of July (if nothing else has happened till then..).
I keep thinking I am having some mild symptoms so took another test this morning only to have another negative. I guess I will stop buying those tests for a while as I can’t have them around me and not use them! 😬

@Gatomum have you kept checking opks? There’s always a chance that your one day light bleed was your period, I guess, so might be worth checking if you’re about to hit another fertile patch?

I think I got so excited with the early symptoms that I forgot to get a new ovulation test pack, @Kiskacsa! 😕 is there a type that most people here like? Last time I got a boots one, I think. For now we’ve just been trying to get busy at least every 2 days. It’s exhausting though! 😂

@Gatomum I bought a lid from amazon think they were one step and then when I think I've nearing ovulation I switch and use the clear blue ones as they show 4 fertile days and check for 2 hormones. x

@Gatomum I always used internet cheapies from amazon, clinical guard I think? They worked for me and super cheap - which was helpful given I can have long cycles so got through lots

@Gatomum I used cheapies when TTC DD, but with this little peanut we were DTD every other day from when AF finished to after I’d had EWCM and it’d gone back to sticky. So 7 times in a fortnight 😅 knackering, but did the trick! 😂

@MMama18 lol - if I’d followed that method, I’d have been going for near 3 weeks - I think DH would have been broken! 😂

@Kiskacsa my DH was just grateful, after complications from past gynae operations and a badly healed episiotomy we couldn’t DTD for over a year! An op in March sorted it out so we were making up for lost time 😂

Think so @mmama18... woke up in the middle of the night coughing and that caused a really sharp pain in my uterus, but I think it’s all ok... still tested very pregnant this morning. 4w2d... booked GP for 25th, not done early access midwife booking because I think I need a referral to keep my thyroid monitored.

How about you @mmama18, all well with you? What symptoms driving you mad so far. It’s all cramping, bloating, tender breasts and metallic morning mouth here...

@kiskacsa I think so... haven’t had any cramping this week but still feeling tired, a bit queasy first thing but it goes away when I eat. Feeling more hungry than usual and I’m very bloated, having to wear loose tops as people would definitely guess by the size of my stomach! I’m 5 weeks tomorrow and got my early scan booked for next Monday so just trying to stay calm until then 😫

Yes all good with me. Did a test last night and still 2 lines and feel nauseous and bloated. Tired. So excited. 4w+1 xx

Not yet unfortunately, @Kiskacsa! My first GP appointment is this coming week so hoping they’ll be able to tell me more about it. I still feel a bit bloated since the time around that short bleeding and I keep wondering if my boobs are more sensitive than normal! If I’m getting all these symptoms just by imagining them I wonder how bad they’ll be when it finally happens for real. 😳

@MMama18 - it’s causing me much bemusement, but thought at least you’d find some nostalgic humour - my pizza face is back in full force. Stupid hormones.
