yawn DD was up at 4.30 this morning..... @sassenach84 I’ve been thinking about what you said and maybe a sleep consultant is the way to go! We don’t seem to be making progress and I’m not sure DH are on the same page with it. Sooooo glad that she’s at nursery and I’m still on hols, I got up with her so DH could sleep but then I went back to bed until 10 once he’d taken her. Still feel a bit like a zombie, I’m not a good napper.
Welcome @tomorrowsleep! A big age gap can be good (I keep telling myself). A work colleague of mine says it’s fantastic because her kids don’t seem to feel like competitors and her DD enjoys helping (treats DS a bit like a doll I think
). It also helps spread the financial load a bit if the elder one is at school by the time you take maternity leave. Personally, I hadn’t realised that toddlers can’t dress themselves (ok, some can, but mine currently has zero interest in doing it herself and I don’t think she could anyway), so perhaps it’s a good thing #2 hasn’t turned up!
Any news of AF @snowscreamer or @Goldendust? Fingers crossed she doesn’t show up!
Having resisted OPKs until this month I am now an obsessed crazy person. I was so sure this cycle would be perfect timing! DH and I both have days at home without DD when I was sure my fw would be. Today is cd10-14 (not exactly sure), and not a hint of EWCM or a line on an OPK. This is not the Plan!!!
Glad to hear you’re feeling a bit more relaxed @chipsfordinneragain. Have you made your booking in appointment? It’ll feel more real once you’ve told someone and they just accept it as a totally normal, calm thing!
