TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

16DPO, still BFN and still no period!

Due to work/study/DC we tend to only have EOW and the odd Tues to DTD which may or may not be a problem whilst we’re TTC. We’ll likely just to have danger shag every weekend Grin

@Roo3125 we have several DC of varying ages Grin My eldest 2 spend a lot of time at ExDHs house (roughly 50/50) and we have 2 smaller ones of our own here all the time plus a cat Grin

Wasn’t planning on any more but I accidentally fell PG and miscarried and now we both want another Blush

@AfterLaughter So sorry about your mc 😔 That must have been very difficult for you both.

On CD11 and now doing two OPKs a day. First one 10am was negative and will do another around 6/7pm and continue with that for the next week.

We're supposed to be getting married next year, but fancied a baby instead 🙄

Put on another thread that I was 9dpo but I'm totally not, I'm 8dpo. Wishful thinking huh. POAS addict so had to do one today even though I knew it would be negative. Still symptom spotting, if I could chop my boobs off I would, they are killing me, but that's a normal AF thing for me. Just want the next few days to go quickly now!

@tisonlymeagain my boobs weirdly never really hurt before af. If they're really sore then that's defo a good sign!

Hi I stopped cerezette in Feb, I had a withdrawal bleed about 10 days later and then a proper period a month after, I'm now on my third cycle since stopping the pill but this is cycle #1 in TTC as me and DH we're still using condoms until the beginning of this cycle as I wanted to give my body a chance to get back in sync after stopping the pill. I'm now 3 DPO with AF/BFP due 10th May. Have people found their cycles have come back normally since coming off the pill?

Hi @CarysC this is my first cycle, it feels like a proper one, will report back next week when AF is due!

I'm trying to remain positive. Sharp niggling pain on the left low down all day and I'm having a chest breakout which I've not had in years but did all the way through pregnancy with my daughter. I don't feel hopeful as I feel like AF is on its way in the next week, but really hoping Hmm

@tisonlymeagain good luck, could be a positive sign if you're having chest break out if that's a symptom you've had in previous pregnancy. I've not really experienced any symptoms as of yet and to be honest wouldn't have what I'm looking for, I guess 3 DPO is too soon to tell. Im not getting my hopes up as it's my first cycle TTC and I know it's not likely to conceive first go but we'll see, 13 days until AF due!

No period here still but this morning whilst hugging DH my left boob leaked milk?! No tests left in the house and zero time to fetch one till tomorrow morning.

@AfterLaughter proper milk? I'm not sure boobs leak until very late in pregnancy. Have you done an early test?

I'm nearly finished my pregnacare vitamins so switching to Sevenseas tomorrow :) have ordered more OPKs which come with the one step ics as well. Will hopefully curb my frer addiction in a few weeks 🙄😂

Yep actual milk. It happened in my pregnancies 3/4 too. I did an early test last week and got BFN. With DC it took till my period was a week late to get a BFP Confused Drove me nuts

I'm getting obsessed with preconception things and considering buying preconception lube. Am I going mad? 😂🙄

@Roo3125 if I’m not pregnant I’ll be going straight to the GP because I will be massively freaked out.

Hahaha no you’re not going mad Grin I’ve got about 90 OPKs in the house but no pregnancy tests. I only bought 5 and used them all Blush I have 30 cheapies sat in my Amazon basket!

Took an OPK this morning at 10 and it was completely negative. Now there's a faint line (9pm). Not quite a strong positive but definitely heading in the right direction! 💪

10dpo and couldn't resist doing a FRER after having a dream about it. BFN Sad Appreciate it's still early though so will leave it a few days now. Have been cramping for days, it's getting on my nerves.

I'm 7 weeks pregnant today 😮 how did that go so fast!?

Yeah @Roo3125 I am trying to cling on to signs but so similar to AF.

I've had cramping, backache, permanently erect nipples Grin, sore boobs, extreme tiredness, headaches, nausea again today...very emotional and super moody. If it's not pregnancy it's going to be one corker of a period.

I'd just like to know either way by Saturday morning as I have a big party to go to an all-dayer on Sunday. If I'm not pregnant, I'd like to get absolutely smashed Wink

@xoxhayleyxox CD13 today :) so shall be busy tonight! I'm feeling quite nauseous, so maybe that's a sign of my ovulation time?

@tisonlymeagain Hopefully it's good news then! I have a hen night when my af is due, so I'll be exactly the same haha!
