TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

I'm so beyond it now. I'll hand in the sample tomorrow but don't trust them one bit. Today has been a right off.

@Rosie2531 omg that's awful! I'm so sorry you're having such a nightmare with it! Who knew it'd be THIS hard for you to get it tested ffs.
@Comps83 it's sooo hard not to get excited. My OH keeps saying 'are you not excited?!' I'm like yes but apprehensive so let's relax. Have you told your OH yet?! x

I keep getting really cold during the day but roasting during the night. Also have a really dull headache again today and really tired. Hoping those are all good signs. Still no af and so on at least CD 51, if not 53 🙄 That's ridiculous, isn't it! 😂

Did my evening OPK and nada. Getting bored now but only CD12 so probably need to chill Confused will try the ClearBlue ones tomorrow

@comps83 omg yay! Fab news and the fact the line is so clearer just a day later is a good sign!

@rosie2531 have you ever had long cycles like this before? But naughty they sent off the wrong colour bottle!! Good luck with results!

@tisonlymegan I’ve been so peed off with OPKs but I genuinely believe it can be easily missed. Did one this evening at a time I usually wouldn’t and got my first positive CD16, don’t give up! X

@Rosie2531 I'm so intrigued by your symptoms. Are you still using OPKs? I did one last night and it looks like it's approaching as lines were nearly the same in colour. CD16 atm for me x

@Robbo93 @amiejb25 I've never had a long cycle before. My af has always come and gone like clockwork. I did have the implant for a few years when I was 20-22 but that was 4 years ago and everything returned to normal within 2 weeks.

I've been using OPKs on and off and all have been negative this past week. Such a weird time!

@Rosie2531 I think you need a doctors appt just to see what's going on with your body!
Done another OPK this morn and exactly the same as last night. Don't really want to DTD much at the moment as Xmas/January baby isn't really good planning for us 😂 xx

Have had another positive OPK this morning and am off with OH today 🤪 fingers crossed I need baby dust!! X

Okay LINE EYES! CD13 just did an OPK and for the first time I see something - you see it too right? I know it's not there yet but does that mean something is occurring?

My ClearBlue digital ones haven't arrived yet but should be here tonight and I'll start doing those tomorrow.

I'll do another this evening. I'm feeling hopeful that my body is actually getting into a normal cycle so quickly after the pill. Fingers crossed!
