@FivexFive so sorry to hear that. Wishing you speedy recovery.

@LokiCat congratulations!

@TrashKitten10 fingers crossed for no AF.

OhMarnie · 02/03/2019 10:59

@LokiCat Omg huge congratulations!! 😍😍😍

Soda123x · 02/03/2019 11:56

@LokiCat huge congratulations!!!
Fingers crossed for us all still playing the waiting game xx

BostonFern · 02/03/2019 12:41

@LokiCat huge congratulations! 🎉 Hoping you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

@rachel59pink I think I'd try testing again.

@FivexFive I'm sorry to hear it wasn't good news.

PeacockingAbout · 02/03/2019 12:50

@PinkFizz19 sorry AF arrived, I think you're cycle twinning with me and @Hannah192 then. When are you ladies due to Ov? How long is your cycle? I'm a fairly regular 27 days, due to Ov 13th March according to Ovia and Glo.

It's a pain they cant start investigations yet @BabySquid, hoping they won't get chance and you're PG long before!

Glad to hear you're doing well @thumper59

Welcome @GemmaXOX - I bet you're happy to see the back of AF after 6 years Shock

Good news about the thyroid @orangeloo! Might check out the groupon deal, I'm not really getting on with the cheapie ones.

Fab name @DayDreamer1707! March madness sounds about right for my level of fitness. I've got as far as downloading the 7 minute workout app, and doing most of my physio exercises this morning, which depressingly, is a step up! I don't have a gym membership and have been holding off getting one as 'I'm only going to get pregnant and not use it' Hmm

Happy FW! Glad your OH is taking the lead - something you don't have to manage is nice!

@FlapJackered hope you are holding up ok, good to see you.

@KatBeCool thanks for the B vitamin info, might check what strength mine are and re-look at my vits. I love baking - brioche sounds fab! How was it? I'm a cake baker by choice - the more elaborate the better Grin I cannot WAIT until I have christneing and birthday cakes to make for my own, I've been making them for everyone else's for years!!

Glad AF has gone @Bostonfern, it will be FW before you know it!

@rachel59pink probably worth doing another now if its been a week?

@granddesigns thanks, would be interested to hear (after deadline obvs!)

@FivexFive really sorry you're going through that - we'll be here when you are ready to come back.

@LokiCat that is amazing congratulations!!! It was the threat of the scan got your ovaries into line Wink give them a call but I'd say they'll cancel, your ovaries are not going to be 'normal' atm are they? And they're likely to notice!

@TrashKitten10 good luck, fingers crossed for you for testing.

@Lozzlepop glad Saturday is looking good for you!

CD3 now, AF cramps have subsided at last. Saturday is going well here, weather is glorious - brisk, but so sunny and I'm off for a walk in the park and lunch with friends and some associated babies and toddlers which will be nice.

starkid · 02/03/2019 12:55

@LokiCat - Hooray! Good to get some good news in here :)
@@FivexFive - sorry to hear this happened, good luck in next few weeks xx

Man, the soya isoflavones taste rank! Just took them half an hour ago, hopefully timing the random burst of energy/hyperactivity with clearing out the front porch and doing a tip run Grin then wallpapering tomorrow!

DayDreamer1707 · 02/03/2019 13:17

@PeacockingAbout I have been the gym this morning and just got back from a walk, let's hope I keep it up. I will be having munch tonight, I deserve it. Do home workouts if you don't want a membership.

@Toka I'm just going to keep doing the SMEP so that we cover all basis. Just annoying aren't they 🤔. I use Ovia and Flo just to see and they are both similar results but you just never know how accurate they actually are x

@Lozzlepop we could maybe plan a cheeky get away at the end of the year. So much on at the moment!! Going to try and stay with the same attitude I have now in the TWW but probably won't happen x

@rachel59pink try a test tomorrow, hopefully it's a BFP for you too. FX

@starkid take advantage of the of the energy boost 💪🏼.

Let's see what my OPK brings today, yesterday was a very faint line. Can't wait for a chilled weekend 😌

KatBeCool · 02/03/2019 18:21

@PeacockingAbout brioche came out great! Made it a few times before and love the recipe.

@starkid so the isoflavones don't taste good... I am so glad the hormones I have to take were all easy and have no flavor. But let me tell you, if you ever take progesterone, or even if you start with B6, eat a ton of fiber in the tww. My body protested that extra progesterone like there's no tomorrow for almost a week (if you can make a connection with eating more fiber, which I didn't realize I needed).

Toka · 02/03/2019 18:48

What are you all doing re drinking during the TWW? Part of me thinks I shouldn't but then again maybe it's just too stressful /disappointing to behave as though pregnant when actually not?!

mrsawhite · 02/03/2019 19:14

I'm cutting back a lot. But at weekends allowing wine. Theory being. I don't know yet. And it's going to be a long 9 months if it happens!

BostonFern · 02/03/2019 19:26

@Toka first cycle I didn't drink at all during the TWW, last cycle I had one glass of wine when I was out with my DP. I drink little and infrequently anyway, so it's not been too difficult. I had a couple of glasses of wine last night (my limit these days!), and may have another glass tonight as I've just finished AF and won't be in my fertile week yet.

MrsMcNtobe · 02/03/2019 20:14

I’m being an idiot and testing at 9dpo.. and imagining lines 😭 why does the TWW never get any easier

TTC FIRST BABY - Thread 14!
OhMarnie · 02/03/2019 21:15

@MrsMcNtobe sorry hun I can't see anything ☹️ but if you are having symptoms then wait a few days and test again. I know how hard it is when you are staring at that test driving yourself mad!! Be easy on yourself and take a break from POAS for a few days and see if AF comes

starkid · 02/03/2019 21:30

@MrsMcNtobe - early days yet xx

@Toka - I'm not really a drinker so easy for me to just avoid, but I'm sure the odd small one won't be end of the world.

@KatBeCool - yeah they're really gross! Sorry you're having some trouble with yours at the mo. Don't know if the b6/progesterone would affect me similarly as, outing myself a bit, but I've had my large intestine/rectum removed and have an ileostomy bag, so not sure I'll ever really need extra fibre Grin (have fun looking that up... Lets just say it should prove fun if I ever do get pregnant! Confused )

LuckyPenguin · 02/03/2019 21:42

Happy Saturday evening guys!

Mine was spent doing a food shop & chatting to my husband whilst he painted the bathroom. Hope yours are good?

@MrsMcNtobe - I've don't it too! Why we put ourselves through it I don't know!

@Lottiepink - on the app i open and close the new post and flick between the two responding to the comments. I couldn't work it out at all at first and found out by fluke!

@BostonFern - I've really enjoyed the last part of the half term! Met up with a friend on Mat leave for brunch & got some new towels & paint for the bathroom (Hubbie is painting it now, looks lush!) We are cycle & job twins this month! Exact same day and cycle length I think! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@PeacockingAbout - thoroughly recommend the book! If you google the title followed by 'PDF FREE' you can get access to it for free and download it to iBooks (which is what I did!) quite good at changing your mindset. Made me think anyway!

@DayDreamer1707 - for me it really is about control. Far too many things going on at the mo with us, that are out of our control. OH got upset today. Thinks it may not happen as we're doing what we can and it should just happen, but it's not. I like the idea of #MarchMadness. I'm going to do SMEP but I'm CD 6 today, so a few days behind you.

@Toka - welcome! 👋🏽 sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy 😔 fingers crossed for some positive news soon! Never heard of what you mentioned at all!

@LikeTheFruit - 50 miles for fish and chips? That's dedication!

@BabySquid - hope things get sorted for you & they find out what's up 😊

@Lozzlepop - yep. I'm hoping! i love glo too & take pics (it's the little things!!)

@GemmaXOX - welcome 👋🏽

@LokiCat - congrats!!!

@KatBeCool - love baking! Made lemon drizzle cake this week 😋

@rachel59pink - I would! Glow was two days earlier than I ovulated after using OPKs

@TrashKitten10 - nothing wrong with being optimistic!!

KatBeCool · 03/03/2019 00:24

@LuckyPenguin ohh, I love lemon flavored things!

@starkid I used to know someone with ileostomy bag, she was quite active and ran marathons. But I guess no constipation is a plus.

MrsH497 · 03/03/2019 01:50

@LokiCat huge congratulations hun!! Beautiful lines! Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy.

Sorry I've not been around works been mental 😩 went from low to peak fertility but confuddled but will jump on hubby lol!! Trying to relax about everything especially after being excited about being late last month.

Hope everyone is having the best weekend xx

TrashKitten10 · 03/03/2019 06:46

Ladies, I've not posted much this week as I've been feeling pretty rubbish and not sleeping and staring at my phone has made my headache worse. I assumed it was because I was stressed being back at work but I think I've figured out what it could actually be...

Ferii · 03/03/2019 06:52

Hi everyone, DH and I (mid 30s) have been TTC since November 2018 so just wanted to introduce myself. I have hypothyroidism so I'd be particularly interested in hearing experiences of other women affected by this. Smile

KatBeCool · 03/03/2019 07:22

@TrashKitten10 ohh, congratulations! There's no guessing that it's positive. So happy for you!

@Ferii welcome. I have hypothyroidism too, been taking levothyroxine since September of last year. It definitely affected things negatively for me and, most likely, took away months of ttc. Only in the last couple months I think I've made it back to normal. What's your experience? How long have you had it?

FlapJackered · 03/03/2019 07:32

OMG! @TrashKitten10 congratulations! That is a seriously strong line! What dpo are you? Such exciting news!! 🎉🎉🎉

Also @LokiCat congratulations to you too!!! So exciting!! And so lovely to have more bfps on this thread.

@KatBeCool b6 and b12 research sounds interesting! As you know I am keen on my supplements! I may well give them a go if the Soy Isoflavones don't work for me a second time. How are you doing? When do you think you will test?

@FivexFive i am sorry lovely. I hope you're ok? It is really rough isn't it. I am finding I just want to move on now but frustratingly after almost a week the pregnancy test is still coming out strong positive, which doesn't help.
@BabySquid I hope you don't mind me asking but how long after your MC did you get a negative test?

Welcome @Ferii - I have hypothyroidism. Although I am probably not the most inspiring representative! It shouldn't have a negative effect on ttc as long as you are on medication though.

LokiCat · 03/03/2019 08:01

@TrashKitten10 huge huge congratulations!! So excited for you!! Sorry you've been feeling so rubbish, though.

@Lozzlepop I'm 14 dpo today - AF should have been due tomorrow. (Well a part of me is still worried that it'll show up, will be testing all day tomorrow as well just in case 🙈)

@PeacockingAbout haha sounds about right! Glad something managed to get in shape. I will give them a ring tomorrow to find out - thanks! Wishing you lots of luck on your new cycle :)

Thanks everyone so much for the lovely messages 😊 Lots of love and baby dust to you all. I'll pop in here and there to see how you all are getting on, if that's okay. Fingers and toes crossed it's good news for you all very soon ❤️❤️

daisiesandpeonies · 03/03/2019 08:04

@TrashKitten10 and @LokiCat congratulations both of you!!!!

starkid · 03/03/2019 08:08

@TrashKitten10 - whaaaat look at that line! That's amazing congratulations!! Tell us all the details once you've recovered haha XX 😊

daisiesandpeonies · 03/03/2019 08:09

@FlapJackered I have been only lurking recently so have only just clicked what's going on with you - I'm so sorry for you lovely. Hope you're holding up OK.
When you're ready and well come back and join me for cycle 10 🤞🏼
