Thanks @mrsR16 I'm very well thanks! I am so well in fact I have returned to Crossfit! Wahay! Lol 😁

I have been seriously excited and overwhelmed as I've just started feeling the teeny tinyest of little kicks, just in the last 3 days. I literally am like a kid at Christmas every time I feel one. Still can't believe it! Even now!

How are you? Any new tactics? Have i missed much? Xxx

MrsR16 · 06/03/2019 23:12

@Crossfitgirl that's so fantastic to hear! I can't even begin to imagine what that must feel like 😍

We've had a lot of BFPs! Some of us are still here waiting to graduate 🙋‍♀️ 😂 xx

Crossfitgirl · 06/03/2019 23:13

@katbecool ahh that's excellent you're on progesterone though, in the sense that it's exactly what your body needs to support conception. I never used IC preggo tests, only the OPKs so don't know how sensitive they are compared to the frers.
Fingers crossed for implantation rather than AF though. I had spotting for 3 days up to my BFP right when Flo app said AF should arrive so you never know xx

Crossfitgirl · 06/03/2019 23:17

@mrsR16 it feels like wind. 😂😂😂
But now it's more like concentrated wind in a certain spot. Like teeny gentle taps.
Very weird!! But amazing!!
I've seen a few BFPs on the grad thread but some sad losses also 😔
I'm glad there's more happy news on here though and I can't wait to see some more! Xxx

BabySquid · 07/03/2019 06:04

@KatBeCool lol yes dark chocolate after ov but I'm guessing moderation not body weight 😂

@Crossfitgirl great to see you're doing so well. And great to see you're back at xfit 💪🏻

I'll post my finding about the diet in a little while, it's going to be a long post!!

Lozzlepop · 07/03/2019 08:49

@orangeloo sometimes I wonder if its not all just a massive stroke of luck as theres so much contradictory advice out there!

@BosrtonFern I have got my positive OPK earlier than last month too, last month got a positive OPK on CD18 and this month I have them yesterday and today so CD14/15

@LuckyPenguin thank you so much 😀I think it was more of a shock thank anything as I have already moved cities twice but the thought of moving countries esp to America totally threw me. I am sure things would need to get pretty bad for him to loose his job as he is one of the original staff members.

@Crossfitgirl nice to see you back, sounds like a lovely stage ☺️ and go you getting back to Crossfit!!!

@BabySquid really interested to hear the diet info.

So got positive OPKs last night and this morning we DTD 2 nights ago and will hope the DP is in the mood when I come home from dinner tonight🤞🏻feel we deffo have a better chance than last month!

BabySquid · 07/03/2019 08:50

So, here goes...
Foods rich in omegas are essential for ovulation phase, such as salmon, sardines and mackerel, pumpkin or squash seeds, okra and spinach.
Zinc helps improve the health of both egg and sperm, oysters are best however I ain't eating snot no matter how good it might be! So other goods are eggs wheat germ dark choc, crab and liver. After ovulation - sweet potatoes or yams (same thing different flesh colour!) also kiwi, broccoli and camu camu (which is Peruvian berry). If you are estrogen dominant you'll need to break it down after ovulation, food best for this are bananas, spinach, sweet potatoes, tuna and prunes.
This is a condensed version, and my friend is just trying 2tbsp of sunflower seeds per day for two weeks started cd1, and then 2tbsp of pumpkin seeds for two weeks after that.

PeacockingAbout · 07/03/2019 09:05

@PinkFizz19 DH is definitely on board with the SMEP lol, he is definitely enjoying TTC! Wink I sometimes get randomly dark CM or a random cramp (yesterday and today in fact, CD 7/8), I think we always have these slight anomalies but if you're not TTC, you don't necessarily care! OBEM makes me cry every time. DH won't watch it with me.

@Hannah192 I start OPKs on CD 10, I've not had great success, but if you're using the cheapo sticks, but you should do them at about lunchtime ideally as the surge is only a few hours long so you can miss it. And repeat in the evening if it's going positive. I've not got the hang of doing them at work. I think the expensive clearblue ones are easier.

@DayDreamer1707 sorry to hear about your job! While I know you didn't want to be there, leaving on you terms might have been less daunting! Good luck today and Friday, you'll nail it Smile

@KatbeCool I am loving the ostrich image. That's my new mental image for symptom spotting. Fingers crossed for you, you're still in this round. If AF does come have you got a follow up for more investigations or another prescription?

@Lottiepink that's pretty much what I had last month symptom wise and Ovia suggested they might be implantation when i entered them, was feeling quite hopeful but they all then went away at about 10 DPO. Thinking maybe something happened m and it didn't stick? I started getting very painful AF cramps earlier than usual and AF was late which is unusual. Fingers crossed for a better outcome for you though!

Work continues to be a bit mad but meh, KOKO. Off next week and deciding between doing fuck all, going away or doing an intense driving course Hmm. CD8 here and not much going on, random cramps but nothing much fun!

Lozzlepop · 07/03/2019 09:06

@BabySquid thats really interesting! I have been having mackerel salads for lunch this week and have sweet potato at least once a week. I also have seeds in my porridge along with blueberries in the mornings so feel I have covered some of these bases 😀Thanks for posting!

Lozzlepop · 07/03/2019 09:45

@PeacockingAbout going away deffo sounds like a nice option

orangeloo · 07/03/2019 09:52

@Lozzlepop yes definitely makes u feel it has a lot to do with luck too.

Also be careful you don't eat too much mackerel I think the recommendation is no more than two portions a week.

@BabySquid thanks for posting re diet will def try and incorporate some of these.

Jessikka · 07/03/2019 10:17

Annnnnnnd.. here comes the pre AF signs!

Will be spotting by bedtime I suspect!

Onto cycle 3 soon then! Up side is the cocktails I get to consume tomorrow and at a wedding in two weeks🍸 🍷

starkid · 07/03/2019 10:29

@BabySquid - thanks for the info! I'm good with the spinach, bananas, sweet potatoes and broccoli but not so much with the rest... thankfully my DH and I are both taking supplements which include zinc or we'd both be useless!

I tell you, this has been the most dragged out AF ever. Today all spotting/brown cm etc. has finally finished, on CD9! Am going to start on the opks today and BDing on the regular. Just keep thinking only 2 more cycles til I can go back to the docs....

KatBeCool · 07/03/2019 10:51

@BabySquid thank you for the diet info. I saw the keywords - chocolate, chocolate, not eating snot, chocolate. I am trying to eat fish, but end up just taking fish oil supplement most of the time as DH doesn't like fish much.

@PeacockingAbout AF not here, temp shot back up and high. The plan was to do two months unmonitored, if nothing, then monitored with a trigger shot. IUI if that fails. But he said I shouldn't need that since DH sperm is good.

Lemonysherbet · 07/03/2019 11:07

Why is AF so confusing, I've had a 2 day period, this is a new record for me!

purplefig · 07/03/2019 11:49

@BostonFern thank you! Hope you get your positive OPK tonight! Do you normally feel ovulation? I always so which is both weird and reassuring!

@KatBeCool any chance the blood could have been IB?

@DayDreamer1707 We had a rainbow yesterday too - what a lovely idea to take it as a positive. Keep us posted on the job search lovely.

@LuckyPenguin Thanks! Still no sign of AF. How're you finding SMEP? I found it bloody tiring haha.

@Crossfitgirl How're you doing lady?! I miss your long messages

daisiesandpeonies · 07/03/2019 11:50

@BabySquid that's really helpful - thanks for the diet advice! I had some sweet potato last night so feeling positive 😃 sad lack of crisps and chocolate on that list 😂 my DH actually loves oysters so he'll be happy to hear that. But I think they're snot too....

daisiesandpeonies · 07/03/2019 11:54

Is anyone trying SMEP this cycle? We're going to (try to) give it a proper go - dtd potentially 4/5 times a week will be a challenge!

Lozzlepop · 07/03/2019 13:27

@orangeloo thanks, not to worry I wont eat too much!

@daisiesandpeonies I went into this cycle thinking we would try SMEP but in reality thats not happening, DTD Friday, Tues and hopefully tonight then most likely over the weekend to try and cover all bases but usually by the time we get home and to bed after being up since 6am its the last thing we want to do lol

ValidUser · 07/03/2019 15:33

Less than 3 weeks to my surgery!

Crossfitgirl · 07/03/2019 15:39

Thanks @babysquid @lozzlepop @purplefig :-) long essays can still be found on the grad thread. And occasionally the trending topics of the day 😂

Bought my first baby related item today.
It is exactly what I imagined when dreaming about baby shopping, the cuteness, the excitement...

Yes, I bought a breast pump! Silicone, with free nipple pads.

I mean, it was on offer what can I say 😂

Just when you think you're done buying wierd ttc lubes, cups to keep the sperm inside, and all the rest of it, next it's weird nipple lube and cups to catch your boob milk in!!

🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

starkid · 07/03/2019 15:41

@Crossfitgirl- what a cute first item to buy 😂

purplefig · 07/03/2019 15:43

@ValidUser ooo that's exciting! I've been away for a few months - what are you having??

@Crossfitgirl LOL love it. So glam. I have had a quick stalk of the TTC grad thread, glad to see lots of you are doing really well. Hopefully I'll have an excuse to stop lurking and join in soon Grin

orangeloo · 07/03/2019 15:51

@Crossfitgirl lol at cups to keep sperm inside.

On that subject I recall someone else a few weeks ago putting this in the thread, 'putting moon cup in after DTD, I can't remember who. Anyone have any thoughts on this, reckon its worth doing?

BabySquid · 07/03/2019 16:15

@orangeloo I'd thought about getting one. Haven't got round to it yet though haha I don't like the thought of it, but it would make getting into optimum 'legs up' position after 💦 far easier! Although could you imagine the moment... hang on dear, before you finish, I just need to get my cup!!! 🤣🤣
