Am still here - just been on a school trip for the past few days. Which much to my relief was not ruined by a dramatic miscarriage. Still spotting every day but at pink/brown level (sorry TMI) rather than pure red so some hope still I think. Although it always starts that way of course. Hoping to get seen at EPU on Tues when I have childcare.

Well as 100% expected, although slightly early, AF has arrived. So that's shit.
I knew right from ovulation it was doomed so I need to get over myself really.

Roll on the next 2/3/4/15/100 (whichever) weeks for ovulation then l. Can't wait to see the next curveball my shitty body throws

I just woke up having soaked the bedsheets (day 1 of AF). I've never done that in my life before, it's literally pouring out. What on earth is wrong with my body? 1st period after the mc was fairly light all things considered.

Sorry to hear of AF @Frazzle and Betty. I wish I could suggest something to try next time but you’re both already way ahead of me regarding all the charting etc.

I still feel like I’m just waiting for the day I mc. I decided to try and be more upbeat last night and look for positive stories of pregnancy for the over 40s. I was pleasantly surprised by how many I found. I’m still not sure I feel any better though! Ah well... another week of work ahead... enjoy everyone!

Betty I'm considering an ovusense as well. Temping every morning gets stressful. Plus my chart this month is a mess because of travel and alcohol (although I guess ovusense wouldn't help with that).

We're at the airport heading back home now. Had a great holiday!

CD11 here so I expect to ovulate either Wednesday or Thursday. Annoyingly DH is going away as soon as we get back so we'll manage to dtd on Tuesday morning and then not again till potentially Thursday evening depending on how his work goes. So I guess that's not too bad really. But still not ideal. Think it would be too awkward to mention to FIL that if he wants grandkids he needs to stop working DH so hard?!

It is proof that FRER are waaaaay better than even the 10miu cheapies tho as did both at same time and there is THE faintest line of the cheapy but so light it doesn't even show in the photo!!

Feeling so stressed about going on hols on the weekend. DH reckons it's going to be too risky to dtd despite me suggesting ideas to him & has basically pre warned me not to have a meltdown if we can't 😡 I'm due to O on the Monday, a week today, which is our second day there, so it's not even as if we have a few days to test the waters...

No worries @rather, I'd rather focus on tigsy's great news too! I'm honestly bleeding to death. I even had a nosebleed this morning, it's like my body is breaking up! I'm not squeamish so I don't care all that much but as usual I'm left wondering why my periods are so heavy atm and what this says about my fertility 🤔 I've never had one this heavy before either so it's getting worse.

Bugger about the timings of your holiday vs Ov. That is super frustrating but if it's really impossible to DTD while you're away and that's DHs final word then can you try right before you go and then when you get back, just in case? And then try and relax for this month and enjoy your holiday 😔 I know it's the last thing you'll be feeling like but I don't think there's much else you can do without ending up at loggerheads with DH

@BettySwoll0cks see how it is next cycle (well hopefully you won't get that far) and if it's this heavy again then get checked out. I developed adenomyosis after my first two losses. Basically very very heavy periods which needed treating with tranaxamic acid or is soak through everything within a hour with a super plus tampon in.
I'm not sure about the nosebleed as well though?

Well it's the third anniversary of when we found out our little Emily had died. She'd be nearly 2.5 years old now.
She was the first baby I'd lost and it destroyed me and changed me beyond recognition. I'm still getting to know this Frazzle now.
I lit a candle for our little girl...

@Rather your DH is really quite tricky isn’t he. I don’t understand the problem, as long as no one is actually in your room, I’m sure you can dtd quietly and who gives a stuff if someone hears something! Anyway, sorry I know I’m not helping at all, I’m sure you will have a lovely time anyway.

We are still away, back later today, but we aren’t getting on so well atm. ☹️

I hadn't thought about that, but I just soaked through my trousers and onto my office chair, which isn't ideal from a practical point of view either. I've only got super TOTM tampons though, not super plus. But it's really a lot worse than normal.

@frazzle I feel so sad for you. I will light candle tonight for little Emily if that's ok w you? xx
