@Kinsters if you had positioned opks then Ian would have thought they would be right. It looks like your LP is a good length this month, which is definitely a positive. I am 12 dpo today & I’m expecting AF to turn up tomorrow.

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 09:56

Yes, my luteal phase is almost at normal length this cycle which I guess is not a bad consolation prize!

Have you tested again at all Rose?

tigsyboo · 07/02/2019 09:57

Kinsters not trying to give you any false hope but don't forget the digitalis are measuring 50mui not 10 like a frer.....

Rose68 · 07/02/2019 09:59

What is a positioned opk? 😩 I hope you positioned it well while weeing on it 😂
No more tests for me, there’s no point ☹️

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 10:10

Tigsy no don't worry, I'm already giving myself false hope! The digitals packet says it measures 25mui and is 98% accurate the day before your period is due (13dpo for most people, so, today). I'm still holding out a little bit of hope but realistically I'm expecting my temp to carry on falling tomorrow. I'm back in the UK on Saturday and will be raiding all Boots I pass for FRERs. And reminding DH how much he spends on his hobbies if he objects. Lol

Rose 😂 now you mention it the positioning of my ic hcg tests is really hard because the area you're allowed to get wet is about 5mm high. I really hope you prove yourself wrong...I don't think we can trust anything out bodies tell us.

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 10:35

Started spotting now so that's me put out of my misery. I'm hoping for a proper period as I'm concerned about my lining thickness (although have read that period heaviness and length isn't correlated to lining thickness/fertility...could be wrong on that one though).

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/02/2019 11:20

I'm really sorry Kinsters Sad everything looked so positive too. xx

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 12:17

What @Rather said @Kinsters. This is such a shit show isn't it Sad

I've just got off the phone with GP receptionist to get results of the swabs (re spotting) and I held my breath for about 5 seconds..

The first thing she said was "Gonnorrhea...."
Then, while I was dying inside, came out with... "clear"
I thought she was telling me I had gonnorrhea! Not telling me the results for the test. Fucking norah, I nearly collapsed in those few seconds. She said I need to have a phone appointment with the GP next week. She said if it was anything serious she would have contacted me immediately so it is apparently just a chat. Weird though that I just received a hospital appointment letter to go to gynea on 21st Feb Hmm.
I did say to the receptionist I felt a bit in the dark but she reiterated it won't be anything serious - I bloody hope not!

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/02/2019 15:02

Lol @Frazzle I would have had a heart attack.

Fx'd there's nothing to panic about. Weird about the letter though!

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 15:05

Reckon if I call the hospital dept they will know what it's for?

OP posts:
Kinsters · 07/02/2019 15:05

Weird Frazzle, hope it's nothing.

I feel OK now my periods arrived, it's the being in limbo that I hate. Saying that my period hasn't properly arrived, just spotting. Hope it gets going soon.

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/02/2019 15:23

I would definitely call them, just to clarify.
I'm surprised there's no information on the letter.

@Kinsters - know what you mean. I'm desperate for mine to just come now... the last few cd's when you know you're out drag and are so bloody pointless.

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 15:41

@Kin I am pleased you feel okay about things now. I was raging when I got AF last cycle!

I called the gynae dept and they said it was for whatever I was referred for in Dec - so that would be recurrent MC clinic. BUT, she said that appointment was cancelled and I have another booked for 8th March (which I know about). But why send me a letter for 21st Feb if that one is cancelled!? I'd have rocked up there for nothing if I hadn't called them Angry

OP posts:
Rose68 · 07/02/2019 15:44

@Frazzle I would also call the hospital, I think that’s terrible of your doctor to leave you hanging! I hope all is okay.

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 15:54

We crossed posts @rose Grin All is fine re hospital app, just mix up with my RMC appointment. Phew!

OP posts:
Rose68 · 07/02/2019 15:55

Good news, but annoying about the appointment being put back. 😬

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/02/2019 15:58

Ah glad you've got it clarified Frazzle. Would have been really awkward if you'd have rocked up on the 21st, good job you did call them!

InDreamland · 07/02/2019 16:55

Oh goodness have you all seen the data breach thread?

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 16:57

Yeah I already knew about the push back, but that was because I was referred to the wrong clinic. Fun times.

DP's had some good news re work today. He's just come out of a really exciting call. He's had a few really good interviews/calls yesterday and today. He may even go into contracting which would be lucrative. Although obviously being happy in a job is more important than money so we will see. He's in a great mood again thank god!
Just such a shame he wasn't in that mood during my ovulation window, but hopefully that BD the day before ov was enough... It had better be as who knows how long I'll be waiting for the next egg to pop out. I'm still feeling really negative about it though. I don't have even the slightest bit of excitement that this could be it this time. Gut feeling is that AF will be here in 11 days time.

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 17:00

@InDreamland yeah saw it. I probably should be panicking like all the others but what can you do?

Even the strictest websites can have data breaches, hackers are getting smarter all the time, and systems do fail.
I think it is users responsibility to accept that if they post something online it is fair game for any joe bloggs.

And MN have been completely honest and open which is awesome

OP posts:
Rose68 · 07/02/2019 17:36

Ah, so that’s why I had to log in earlier!

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 18:01

Yeo, so did I.
I opened MN and was like, what is THIS!?
As I am still on the old style MN, so had to log in to go back to the old style which I like faaaar better 😁
Normally it goes straight to old style as I'm always logged in

OP posts:
BettySwoll0cks · 07/02/2019 19:17

I just had to log back in. I appreciate that MN have put their hands up straight away but I'm still a bit clueless as to what this actually means to me (is it just a 'software glitch' or is this some hacking/doxxing situation?) or whether I have been affected?

I'm in a really foul mood tonight. I received a really patronising email from a colleague earlier that has made me want to rip someone's head off. I told DH immediately when he walked through the door that I am upset about it, so that he doesn't just wonder why I'm being off. Some people 🙄
