Yammers thread 10!

Yammer rules:

A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement. Please read the rules before posting!

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

• Thou shalt not arrive one day and post BFP next day

• Thou shalt not give advice to others when TTC for one month only

• Thou shalt not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways

• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month

• Thou shalt not be offended by strong language

• Thou shalt not tell everyone to eat yams

• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

• Thou shalt not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if you do so.

-Thou shalt not post pictures of positive pregnancy tests. We will be delighted to hear about it but no photos, please and thank you

Tested again, another clearblue and a FRER. Very faint line on the FRER, can barely see it. Another line on the clearblue but it's fainter than last night. I think I might be a having another chemical

@NoseringGirl buy more tests and do one in the morning and see? Don't let yourself think negative yet, it could just be too early to tell x

@NoseringGirl don't lose hope yet... it just could be too early for a decent line (wasn't there a little confusion over your ovulation date this month?) Maybe test again tomorrow morning?
@cupcakesandglitter applying for a new job sounds exciting. Sometimes its nice to have something else to think about other than ttc!

I had very heavy red/brown spotting on Thursday... almost like a light AF but not quite. Then nothing yesterday or today. Got a frer and tested at 11.30 but bfn- stark white! Had a little cry and now back to waiting for AF. My bbt thermometer arrives today ready for cd1 so at least I can focus on something else to get obsessed over!

@dragonmummy17 could maybe be implantation?! Fingers crossed it doesn't show up and you get your BFP soon too!! X

@cupcakesandglitter I've had cramps and some red spotting this morning but no AF yet. If still no AF by tomorrow I am going to retest using fmu. This cycle is being really strange...

@dragonmummy17 that is weird! I hope you get an answer soon, nothing worse than being in limbo x

It's been pretty weird here too. I've still been getting positives but they've not got any darker. Getting symptoms now though like dizziness, nausea, sore boobs and my gums have bled the last couple of times I've brushed my teeth (which happened with my last pregnancy)
I've been checking my cervix and it's really high, I can barely reach it. When I checked it mid morning, I'd had some bleeding so was convinced it was all over. Bleeding has stopped now though. No idea what's going to happen.

@NoseringGirl sounds very very promising - I guess if you're testing every day and it's super early, maybe you won't see as much as a change? If that makes sense? Hopefully they get darker in a few days!!! Fx!

@cupcakesandglitter I was saying that to DH, I've done a few tests each day so it feels like a lot more time than it has been if that makes sense? The bleeding has worried me though. All I can do is wait and hope.

@NoseringGirl of course, just keep persisting with it I guess 😂 maybe you've just got a sensitive cervix? If you are pg it's quite common isn't it?

@NoseringGirl I'm wondering if it's your cervix too, especially if you are checking it. Do you have cervical ectropians?

Although still light, AF is definitely here. I'm pretty gutted although trying to focus on the next cycle. Using opks and temping for the first time. I'm also going to chase up our fertility referral tomorrow.
Me and DH have also started to discuss that we might need an end date. I don't want to keep trying indefinitely and I'm wondering whether its time to accept that we have a great life with DS and maybe that's enough... We agreed we aren't ready to stop trying yet and to rediscuss in a couple of months but I'm getting to the point where I might have had enough

Awww @dragonmummy17 it mist be horrible when you get to that point. I think @Owlpatrol moved onto a not trying not preventing type style. It's so hard not to obsess though isn't it. Do you think you would use contraception or just assume it's not gunna happen? I hope it happens before then anyway.

@dragonmummy17 sorry for AF! Good luck with the OPKs and temping.

I'm still spotting and it was a bit heavier over night. My temp has been going up though and the test line was a little darker this morning but still pretty faint. I don't know what to think. I don't have any issues with my cervix that I know of but it's possible I've irritated it. Have stopped checking it now!

How you feeling @NoseringGirl? what colours the spotting if you don't mind me asking? X

@NoseringGirl if the line is getting darker that's a good sign, has it settled now or still going? Implantation maybe? X

Still bleeding, light flow rather than spotting I guess? Just when I wipe and nothing on the pad so far. It's dark red. Seems too heavy for implantation. I had a spot of blood on Thursday just before I got the first positive on Friday so assumed that was implantation. The only things giving me hope are that the test was still positive and my temp is climbing.

@NoseringGirl I've seen loads of threads where women had heavy painful bright red blood for implantation bleeding so it's definitely a possibility!! Keeping everything crossed for you x

@NoseringGirl is your GP sympathetic? Could you ask for a blood test? Temperature still rising and a positive test are great signs but it sounds very stressful

I just chased up our referral and glad I did as they had lost DHs SA which I delivered by hand myself 2 weeks ago... there wasn't even a record of it being left (he has a different GP to me). Luckily I took a photo and the receptionist was lovely and has already forwarded my email to the doctor but I'm still pretty cross

@dragonmummy17 oh that's bloody annoying!! Fx they can get him to give a sample ASAP and hurry back with the results

Yes I keep meaning to keep in touch ladies, I've been through quite a bit lately, firstly we weren't trying not preventing dp still hasn't been tested and its caused no end problems in our relationship. I wish I could share a bottle of wine and tell you all. I'll update you all when u can xx

Can I join this thread please? Officially been trying 6 months+. Feeling pretty fragile and overhelmed by it all. I'm 30 (DH is 34) trying to conceive our first, not a hint of a BFP.

Hi all so I'm writing with dp sleeping beside me, what feels like a journal entry so apologies in advance
Dp has been ill not too ill but enough for him to conveniently put off tests. Anyway I've turned 31 and dp 44 so time really has been ticking. I decided, not dp to stop technically trying, I still have my ovia app but not tracking. So we ploded on a few months, in between money issues a car nearly dying on us and other usual stresses. It seems that something is happening I've questioned him a few times and I'd wondered whether he had the snip sometime after his child from previous but hes said he hasn't. Its caused many arguments and many ups and downs. But we're still here, just! Xx
