@MrsH497 - aw no, it's early days though xx

KatBeCool · 08/02/2019 16:30

@TrashKitten10 got a couple of short dizzy moments, like a few seconds, but I haven't ripped anyone's head off yet, so that's good.

@Jessikka how do you take your temp? And are you well rested? They do look a bit high overall but there is a clear rise so I wouldn't worry. Just seems like maybe it's not your lowest because you're too awake.

@starkid so you're finally turning into the crazed bitch they've been warning about people taking extra estrogen. That's what I'm worried about when I start taking estrogen in a few days, that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference and justify everything. Keep us updated!

@MrsH497 tsk tsk tsk! It's in no way possible to get a bfp this early.

starkid · 08/02/2019 16:40

@KatBeCool - see now I don't feel like it's that bad a thing at the moment, I feel productive and 'on it' Grin I'm scaring my colleague and husband though 😂 definitely crazed though! I did warn them all tbf. See if I go back to normal next week. Good luck on yours...!

KatBeCool · 08/02/2019 16:51

@DayDreamer1707 isoflavones basically give you a ton of extra estrogen which may help with ovulation and thicken your lining. And turn you into a crazed harpy on steroids, an emotional crybaby, or both. Some say it's natural Clomid, but it's not quite right as Clomid suppresses estrogen and tricks your brain into producing more FSH to stimulate the ovaries to definitely ovulate while the isoflavones don't. So that's why sometimes women take estrogen after Clomid to make sure their lining isn't too thin.

Jessikka · 08/02/2019 17:10

Thanks @KatBeCool - I thought the same thing. Though in a way, just like you said, I'm the same level of awake each day and so an overall pattern will still emerge though they're maybe not my lowest temp.

How are you all?
I'm miserable today. Been having cramps for past 2/3 days and now the mother of all headaches and dizziness: about to enjoy a nice cold squash as maybe I'm dehydrated.

Currently sat on 8dpo and patiently waiting to see if AF arrives next Sat!

BostonFern · 08/02/2019 17:45

@DayDreamer1707 I think I'm also technically into the TWW too 😬 AF due two weeks today.

Sorry to hear you are miserable @Jessikka Have you got anything to look forward to this weekend?

I'm CD14, got my positive OPK yesterday and had some pain on my left side last night. Pain has gone this evening. I'm currently cooking a risotto and getting really impatient for it to just absorb the stock!

starkid · 08/02/2019 18:16

@KatBeCool - I'm the crazed harpy on steroids 😂 My DH said he's jealous of my energy!

@Jessikka - Ooh not long to wait then :)

MrsH497 · 08/02/2019 18:23

@KatBeCool I know I don't know what made me do it!! Last month I didn't symptom spot I didn't test nothing just waited. Right sitting on my hands until 14th which is when I'm due on.

How is everyone? Been to the gym again and feeling pretty good about it.

DayDreamer1707 · 08/02/2019 18:39

@KatBeCool sounds like I need this stuff for the energy boost but knowing my luck I'd be an emotional wreck!!

@Lozzlepop you are well and truly in the TWW then😫

@BostonFern snap 14 days to the wonder witch shows up for me too.

@MrsH497 what made you test so early?? Are you a POAS addict ha. I've been to the gym and makes me feel so positive, love it when I do it but going...well you need to drag me kicking and scream 😂

@Jessikka chin up princess it's the weekend. Keep yourself busy x

KatBeCool · 08/02/2019 18:43

@DayDreamer1707 you were able to get pregnant before, I wouldn't touch those. If you're tired a lot, make sure your vitamin D levels aren't low.

Jessikka · 08/02/2019 19:03

You're right @DayDreamer1707 - I pulled myself together. I don't stay miserable for long thankfully - too much energy 🙄😂

Not long at all @starkid 🤞
I'm about to take a paracetamol and relax for the evening. I've been putting tablets off as I'm in the "implant" stage and with the symptoms I'm actively ignoring (3 days of cramping being one and continually rising temps) in the back of mind I'm too scared to take anything! I am desperate now though - I feel as though my brain is going to burst through my skull, so paracetamol it is.

X

Random2468 · 08/02/2019 19:38

@Lozzlepop yes I have... it's stronger and definitely a line today. 😊 Still quite cautious as it's so early, could be a chemical etc. Top one is today's...

MrsH497 · 08/02/2019 19:41

@DayDreamer1707 I think it was I felt so crap yesterday had a crampy stomach last couple of days felt sick and had heart burn yesterday. That was it nothing else made me test and not yet a POAS addict! X

TrashKitten10 · 08/02/2019 19:54

@Random2468 Such a strong line so early on! I'm placing my bets on twins.. or triplets Grin

@KatBeCool haha I'm pleased about that :) hope the dizziness doesn't continue x

PeacockingAbout · 08/02/2019 21:42

@Jessikka I make no promises! But liking the interface and it's agreeing with Ovia that I should ovulate on Weds next week so starting the OPKs and let's see. Sorry to hear you're feeling rough, hope the cramps and headache abate soon. Fingers crossed for next weekend for you.

@thumper59 sorry about the announcements, while lovely for them -sucks a bit for you! I've had a birth and a baby shower this week, and an acquaintance announcing, on top of ALLLLL the other pregnant women I know. There is something in the water that they're all on and not telling us about! Sorry to hear you're crampy, that's no fun Sad but loving the Zen vibe. I think they way they do the FW is actually 'when you could DTD and conceivably become pregnant this cycle' - as sperm can live for 5-7 days inside you, if you DTD a week before you ovulate you might get pregnant, even though you're not actually close to ovulating then but there will still be some swimmers hanging about when you do. I think you're only actually fertile for about 12-24 hrs of the month or something (which seems an insanely small period of time to catch!) But need to get the swimmers in there early so as not to miss it.

@starkid I'm loving the sound of the super efficiency boosting fertility helpers! I definitely don't need to take anything more than my million vitamins, don't think we've been properly trying long enough to risk it, but they are sounding good.

@MrsH497 it's so hard not to do them isn't it! If find myself on like, CD 16 or something going "why did I do this again?". DH has stopped trying to stop me. He's just like 'sure if peeing on stuff makes you happy I guess that just what our relationship is now'

@KatBeCool are you medical, or just done a load of research? your manner of explanation is really good.

@DayDreamer1707 good luck for the tww!

@Random2468 now that one is a line, congratulations!

thumper59 · 08/02/2019 21:50

@PeacockingAbout it's hard isn't it! I don't know if everyone is pregnant or you just notice it more when your trying. Yeah everyone is onto something we aren't!! It 'just happens' for them too! Why doesn't it just happen for us!!

I know it's madness isn't it how little we are fertile all month. Well i forgot to do a OPK but have dtd. I don't know if I should take one now or not bother and just do one tomorrow now? Who knows. Hope you've had a goood day, this part of the cycle is so boring isn't it!

KatBeCool · 08/02/2019 21:55

@PeacockingAbout Writing instructions is my daily job, haha. So thank you for the recognition! I did do a lot of research, yes, and I tend to be conscious about what goes into my body, so even more research. I'm not a health fanatic by any means, and still cook with loads of butter and sugar, I just like knowing what I eat or what medicine I take. And I guess I'm good at explaining things I read 😂

KatBeCool · 08/02/2019 21:58

@thumper59 I'm sure you notice it more. Especially when you see women smoking, or drinking, or holding the baby incorrectly while its head is dangling, or feeding the baby nothing but junk and you think "SHE has a baby and I am struggling?"

starkid · 08/02/2019 22:02

@Random2468 - wow clearly a line, and so early!! Congratulations, fx for you xx
@PeacockingAbout - We'll see if they work as well for me as they did for Flapjackered! I quite like that I can actually tell they're doing something to my hormones etc., even if it is just to make me crazy Grin
Unfortunately past surgeries have likely left me with scar tissue that'll maybe make things difficult, but people get pregnant with all sorts of problems, after being told it will be hard due to this that and the other, so I try and stay positive Smile

BostonFern · 08/02/2019 23:11

@Random2468 congratulations!

MrsAW2018 · 09/02/2019 08:07

@Random2468 congratulations!!

Happy Saturday, ladies!
I'm 7dpo and have the sorest boobs to touch and some watery discharge.

We're off to Chester for the weekend to visit my sister so that will help take my mind off the two week wait!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend X

Random2468 · 09/02/2019 08:17

Thank you so much everyone. Sorry to those of you who are just getting AF or finding it upsetting with another bfp. It will happen one way or another for all of us, when the time is right. We just have to trust in that, as that's all we can do 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway, this being so early I am of course happy but very very cautious, especially after my mc last time. Fx for a sticky one. I'm going to hang around here for a while anyway. Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend x

FlapJackered · 09/02/2019 10:10

Congratulations @Random2468 !! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

@starkid @KatBeCool just popping on to see how are you girls are getting on with your soy/clomid? Has it affected you at all? X

KatBeCool · 09/02/2019 10:40

@FlapJackered only took two so far and other than getting dizzy for a few seconds several times, I am not noticing anything. Although it seems like I'm suddenly more aware of my ovaries lol, I get little flutters occasionally, maybe it's from Clomid. I'm only CD5 today so definitely not ovulating to feel that. There might be more symptoms once I start estradiol. How are you doing?

thumper59 · 09/02/2019 11:05

Why are my OPKs still so negative?? When should I expect to next ovulate in about November 2021???
