I can't actually believe it. It just shows not to give up hope (looking at you @cupcakesandglitter) as I am only about half a month away from ttc for a year.
Fingers crossed it's a sticky wee bean! I may hang out here a little longer if that's ok as I know it's v early days and also this thread feels like home! I am not ready to fly the nest yet! 😂

@Lozzlepop - mine don't seem to steadily get darker, the positive just arrives out of nowhere, and often between cd16-19, so don't be down yet. Make sure you do them in the afternoon and also evening to make sure you catch it 😊

So Im driving myself mad here! 7dpo.....argh!!!!! Im convinced Im not pregnant but is cycle 1 so would be relatively lucky to get pregnant in first cycle anyway.

@Lozzlepop I waited for an acceptable time to wake him up and when I did he said 'oh my god you're pregnant aren't you!' 😂 he has "man flu" though so I think the enthusiasm will grow when he is less sick 😂

I am so sure it was the Soy Isoflavones that did the trick. My opks were so much darker this cycle. I also took evening primrose oil tablets up until ovulation. Otherwise nothing else changed.

@FlapJackered I'm 9dpo today, temp dipped a bit but above the cover line. This cycle I've had the most perfect chart I've ever had. Hopefully it means something. I'm reading about so many precautions with isoflavones. But when nothing else worked, why not, you're a great example!

Good afternoon guys. Not been on in a couple of days it's been manic, but nice! I'm full of cold so cleaning up so very slowly today.

Period stopped last night, so I had a total normal period and it started and finished exactly when ovia predicted it would so not much has changed from coming off the pill which I'm happy about.

@cupcakesandglitter take a break if you need one 💕 i have faith your BFP is just around the corner though!

@Lozzlepop when did you start OPKs? Now AF has gone I don't want to miss my surge! After this week I'll be all over my lovely man like a rash, even more then usual 😂

I've had a lovely weekend drinking, being with friends and having a laugh so that lifted my spirits a bit from last cycle and the return of AF.

It was cycle 8 but 11months of ttc due to irregular cycles so it has felt like an eternity!

@thumper59 nice to have you back, hope your cold clears up soon ☺️ I started on Tuesday which was CD 12 and that’s the best result I’ve had so far as I thought I was due to OV yesterday but my body has other ideas, worked out for the best as DP was staying at a friends last night so at least I’ve not missed the chance this month 😄

I've just went and got some supplements for this cycle. I've read evening primrose oil is good for fertile cm as I don't seem to ever get close to ewcm- anyone any success stories with this? Also just got an all rounder 'fertility' supplement as up until now I've just been taking folic acid. What supplements are you ladies taking (if any!).

@sunshine1987 @stormtrooperjulian Thanks alot for your comments. Unfortunately January wasn't my month and AF arrived right on time on Friday. I'm now CD3 of Cycle 3. Only 2nd cycle that I'll be using OPKs and comparing Dec and Jan I don't think i ovulated in Dec (first month off the pill) so here's hoping February is our month. Due to O just before Valentines Day so lets hope Cupid sprinkles some babydust that week.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

Looking for advice as I start to plan cycle 3. Came off the pill in Oct and periods went back to normal almost immediately - 27/28 day cycle but lighter than before. Started ttc in December - nothing yet, just af bang on time! Have got opks for next month, can someone tell me when to start testing and how to get best results?! Also ordered pre conception vits for me and dh to start taking together as I've been on FA since November but knowing family history know that ttc takes a long time on his side of family and let's say, no time on mine if there's any link?! Can we do anything else? Don't want to add in too many other factors but if something is proven, willing to give it a go - feel like time and life have slowed down these last few months. Haven't got enough annual leave to take a couple of days everything af is due just in case it arrives and I cry! Thanks for any advice from those further along the journey than us, and maybe it will help someone else following us along this path in the future.
