I'm CD 16 so was expecting positive opk's but been testing since day 8 and all negative :( I also have no CM that I can tell actually nothing, compared to normally always seeing something in my pants. Do people think this means I'm probably not going to ovulate this cycle? I do feel quite stressed at the moment but how do you relax like everyone tells you to - and not ovulating just adds to the existing stresses of life! So upsetting 😫

starkid · 28/01/2019 16:47

@Random2468 - I don't usually ovulate until CD16-19, was Day 19 this month, so not definitely a no for you yet! Fx

Crossfitgirl · 28/01/2019 16:59

For those that asked for an update on my scan today, here is our little bean, a very surreal experience! It's so hard to believe that in such a very short time, such an amazing thing has grown!
I don't know how I would have coped without the support of you fantastic ladies on here. I can honestly say that this thread kept me sane and I am so grateful we were all in this together!
Feeling very emotional and I want to give you all a big hug and say thank you so so much for always being there, through the peeing on sticks, the arguments about sex, that bitch AF showing up time after time, and for generally making me feel able to continue with the madness as its all been totally worth it xxx

19Bee2 · 28/01/2019 17:21

@starkid I am 14DPO now (but Fertility Friend prediction is a cautious one due to funny temps and cm this month). I think I will wait and test Wednesday like you say. Will see what tomorrow brings!

@thumper59 It seems like we are fairly similar. I have had so much creamy/egg white cm the past few days. It will be interesting to see if that means anything!

19Bee2 · 28/01/2019 17:23

I wasn't posting but was following along on this thread when you were trying @Crossfitgirl. Congratulations! Glad the scan went well - a lovely clear picture, such an incredible thing.

MrsH497 · 28/01/2019 17:26

@Crossfitgirl awww that's amazing!! Beautifully clear scan pic! Huge congratulations!

Xx
Ps excellent first name! 😉

KatBeCool · 28/01/2019 17:32

@Crossfitgirl what a great scan!

@cupcakesandglitter how are you doing today?

@Random2468 just because you didn't ovulate on the exact day you expected it doesn't mean you won't later, keep testing, it'll happen.

@FlapJackered what CD/DPO are you?

DuchessofPemberley · 28/01/2019 17:40

@Crossfitgirl I'm not crying, honestly! I'm so happy for you, what a wonderful miracle of a thing!

OhMarnie · 28/01/2019 17:42

@Crossfitgirl oh that is just gorgeous!!!

DuchessofPemberley · 28/01/2019 18:02

@19Bee2 I'm 15dpo, but likewise FF isn't sure because I was sick during my luteal phase so the temp doesn't count. Also having EWCM which is odd.

@AngeloMysterioso that's interesting, the time I fell pregnant before my MC (MANY years ago) I was the same. I didn't get a BFP until 5weeks pregnant.

19Bee2 · 28/01/2019 18:18

Have you tested @DuchessofPemberley? (Sorry if you have said and I have missed it!)
I was feeling so smug with myself for being surprisingly chilled about the whole process - HA! A hint of being late and I am back to obsessively googling.

thumper59 · 28/01/2019 18:52

@Crossfitgirl totally amazing! Congratulations again!!

@19Bee2 yeah it's weird! AF still not here feeling very periody in headache and stomach cramps so reckon she'll show but wish she'd hurry!

cupcakesandglitter · 28/01/2019 19:10

Omg @Crossfitgirl I'm crying, so so happy for you ❤️❤️

@KatBeCool my temp dropped back again today 😩 I think my thermometer might actually be broken/batteries are running low because I got a .3 degree difference between that and my other one - either way I'm not holding out much hope... I'm not feeling negative though anymore I suppose, just realistic. I think this is our last month of TTC. It's hard but I just don't think I can do this anymore - especially when I feel palmed off by doctors and always get told every bloody thing is due to weight. Gonna see how I go but expecting AF anytime this week I guess. How are you? x

@Crossfitgirl omg I am tearing up, I could not be happier for you! I am so glad the scan went well. You have been such a support to a lot of us too and have made the journey so far a lot more bearable. Keep us updated! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@KatBeCool - I am 7dpo today! I have been away this weekend and trying so hard to resist getting into the holiday vibe of drinking too much. It's so hard as there are complimentary cocktails in the hotel I am in! 😩 How are you? What cd are you?

TomThumb16 · 28/01/2019 19:20

I ovulated on the 16th of Jan and my husband and I had sex every other day leading up to that day and on that day.

Shortly after, (about 2 days) I began to feel light headed, and had bearable cramps.
Days following on from this my symptoms seemed to multiply.

It's now the day before my period is due, my breast are sore and massive!, have a huge headache and my lower abdomen is crampy.

Unfortunately, I have noticed some bleeding this morning. It's a medium red colour, not overly dark but, not light either.
It doesn't seem like my usual period as that's usually heavy and includes clots?
This is a medium flow, nothing major but, enough to wear a sanitary towel.

I was just hoping whether anyone has had a similar experience and it turned out to be a successful pregnancy ❤

This will be our first baby!

Still super crampy right now too and really tender breasts.

starkid · 28/01/2019 19:23

@Crossfitgirl - Aw congratulations, what a weight of your shoulders I bet! xx

AngeloMysterioso · 28/01/2019 19:25

@DuchessofPemberley the ridiculous thing was we weren't even trying at the time. Now we are, and I've been taking FRERs every month because I just can't help myself, even though I know I got a BFN a few days after AF was due the first time!

@Crossfitgirl that's amazing. So, so, so happy for you!

MrsAW2018 · 28/01/2019 19:31

Aww congratulations @Crossfitgirl what a lovely scan picture ❤️

DuchessofPemberley · 28/01/2019 19:42

@AngeloMysterioso we weren't trying either last time! Still stung badly when it ended in MC.

For some reason I just assume that was a one off and if I get pregnant I'll get a positive the day I'm due like most people do. I have no idea why I'm so certain! 😂

@19Bee2 yep I tested on Saturday and today. BFN. I'm expecting my temperature to drop tomorrow and AF will arrive. I was so certain I was pregnant yesterday. I swear to god I oscillate between thinking I'm never ever going to get pregnant and thinking I'm pregnant with twins 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm a mess.

DuchessofPemberley · 28/01/2019 19:43

@cupcakesandglitter sorry you're having such a rough time with it right now. How long have you been trying?

cupcakesandglitter · 28/01/2019 19:56

😂😂 @DuchessofPemberley I've been there too - it's so hard not to when AF doesn't show!! I'm on cycle 7 x

@Crossfitgirl Congrats! Gorgeous scan photo ☺️

DuchessofPemberley · 28/01/2019 20:18

@cupcakesandglitter I'm not far behind you, I'm on cycle 6. I'm torn between thinking a month or two off would be good for my mental health and worrying about 'wasting cycles'. I didn't expect to be so upset every month. I was so sick this weekend it got his hopes up and I'm dreading the thought of telling him this isn't our month yet again.

It's taking lumps out of us emotionally. I can understand why you'd consider stopping. I wish I could think of a less emotionally intense way of doing this. But if I wasn't on here and tracking I'd be worried I was missing things. And I'm pretty sure you all are the only thing keeping me sane!

cupcakesandglitter · 28/01/2019 20:25

@DuchessofPemberley couldn't agree more - I took Christmas off and drank/didn't track etc and it's the one month I fell pg, but you're never 100% calm! I was always thinking about it, always worried 😩 you guys have all kept me sane too, but I think every BFP leaves me feeling so happy for everyone else but so sad for me because it isn't happening, and it's not a healthy way of thinking at all x

KatBeCool · 28/01/2019 20:29

@cupcakesandglitter you're being way too hard on yourself. Sure, weight can be a factor, but it hasn't stopped everyone. And even if you didn't ovulate this month, it's just this one month. I know it's harder and harder month after month, but you aren't losing anything by continuing to try. If opks and temping add stress, stop that, and just listen to your body - ewcm and such. You're young, use that to your advantage, it'll happen for you.

@FlapJackered I'm 3dpo. This is a weird cycle for me. I started having cramps days before ovulation, then around ovulation the cramps were on both sides instead of just one. DH now hates sex so it's hard to do it often. But we got a couple of times in. I finally got into his head that it is not how many times you do it that matters but doing it at the right time that does, and doing it when I have ewcm that doesn't kill his swimmers. At just a few DPO a cocktail shouldn't matter, as long as you don't get sick, or allergic, or dehydrated.

@DuchessofPemberley after 10-12 DPO it becomes especially rough, doesn't it. I'm nowhere near yet, but there aren't any frers in my house, if I'm pregnant, the internet cheapie will show it in time. I can't deal with getting excited to pee on a frer only to see a bfn.
