Thanks @lozzlepop @flapjackered @cupcakesandglitter I'll keep you updated :-) and honestly the last 8 weeks could not have gone any slower for me tbh! It seems like such a long time to wait to actually see that there's a real baby in there and not just a post Xmas podge!
@duchessofpemberley how frustrating. They do sound very much like typical pregnancy symptoms too. Are they typical AF symptoms for you or is this unusual? Are you absolutely certain when you ov'd? Our bodies can play awful tricks on us but sometimes it can take longer for the hcg to get to detectable levels. Hope you get an answer soon!
@keyboard91 oh that's lovely news, fingers crossed it was just implantation bleeding and a sticky bean. Lots of ladies do get bleeding and I had a period-like bleed (that stopped the same day though) and it's just the baby burrowing further into the womb. Good luck and hope all is well on weds xxx

@19Bee2 and a late reply back to you, sorry! I'm sorry your work is hard going too. Are you having a relaxed weekend? Switching off is so important, it can become really all consuming. The gym definitely sounds like a good plan for the mind and body. I got into a good habit of going gymming or swimming after work last year but haven't for months which is poor. It was so relaxing though. And like you say will definitely help in TTC and pregnancy as well as just feeling healthier and less stressed.

@BostonFern - oh god I'm glad it isn't just me who becomes weirdly hyper/lively/productive right before or the same day AF arrives! My colleague has even noticed and asks each time haha, the shame

@Crossfitgirl this is very unusual for me. Usually I have a day or two of light twinges pre AF and then intense cramping which signals its arrived. The intense cramps without any arrival is new, as are the other symptoms 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's funny what you said about if I'm sure when I ovulated. I was sick one day at the start of my luteal phase and FF discarded that temp to get a clearer picture, but maybe it distorted my chart and I ovulated a day or so later?

So exciting that you're having your twelve week scan! I can't believe it passed so quickly, seems like only last week we were reading about your house move, staircase adventure and BFP! Is it starting to feel more real?

@duchessofpemberley the only symptom I had in the first few days was intense, period like cramping. Lots of girls on the pg thread had exactly the same. But that was completely abnormal for me, I wouldn't usually get any with AF. That cycle was also a really odd cycle where I ovulated super early. You just never know. Temps aren't always accurate and also it doesn't always rise until 2 or more days after ov. Well I read anyway. I also think I felt a teeny bit nauseous kind of right after conception. For a fleeting moment or 3. But looking back that could have just been cos I was hungry or something. You can't tell what's symptoms and what's not sometimes with the over analysing!

Haha god do people remember my stairs story? I feel honoured!! Haha. Its still very surreal. Despite the first trimester symptoms being very real, nausea, tiredness, food aversion... Literally so bloated I swear I have a bump already... But I think until I see it on the scan I don't quite believe it yet. I feel like I should have at least been sick for it to count as proper pregnancy sickness (I haven't, just felt queasy) and so I almost don't feel like I'm pregnant and with no bump (I can suck the bloat in so it's not a proper one) it's a bit like well... just got to trust I've not had a period for 3 months so I kinda must be!!

Also only had sex about 3 or 4 times since finding out as I've felt quite rough, but the TTC sex had built my confidence soooo much, that as soon as I've felt horny (v rare occasions in between feeling like crap) I've totally made the most of that moment and not hesitated to jump straight on DH! The TTC business has longer term benefits, ladies, and not just making babies!

Woke up feeling rather 'damp' shall we say. I've be having this feeling a bit more recently and remembered someone saying that had this feeling before BFP. Took my temp and it was still nice and high. Went to the toilet, I've come on my period and completely soaked through my knickers Thanks reproductive system, nice job building me up! I don't think I've come on like that in the night since I was a teenager. DH commenting how he wouldn't want to be a woman and, as I'm peeling blood soaked knickers off myself, I quite agree! Onto cycle 2!

CD2 here, I'm awake earlier than I hoped. OH still asleep so I'm going to have a hot bath and think about what I want to get done today- maybe a nap later this afternoon!

@starkid I'm also glad I'm not the only one who gets this productive streak when AF visits. My OH might be in for a shock though as he has never experienced it before! 😂

@Crossfitgirl it's nice to hear how you've been getting on, also nice to hear a positive story about the first trimester- so many I've heard have been saying it's horrific, you lose all your personality....

So took the test this morning, neg! Not even a snifter of a line!! So got back in bed!
Went to get changed, little red patch in my PJs! FFS I'm not even due till Thursday and I'm NEVER EVER early! What the heck??!!!! See how it goes and how heavy it gets as to whether it's AF or not!! 🤬🤬🤬😭😭😭

So sorry to see a few ladies have been caught with AF.

I am still confused, been spotting on and off for a few days now and feel like actual poo. Did an internet cheapie and it was nice and negative 😫. Was meant to come on yesterday but had nothing all day. DTD last night, sorry tmi but after when I wiped there was blood mixed in with the other 'stuff' not much, then still nothing all night. Why is this whole TTC not just black and white. X

@babysquid it could be an implantation bleed. I had one and I actually thought it was AF and put CD1 into flo. Argh let us know how it progresses. Fingers mightily crossed for you!

@bostonfern aww thank you! It's not been that bad really for me, it's been more like a constant hangover, it was really bad for a couple of weeks but then eased to mild nausea and kinda stuck at a manageable level for a few more weeks. lots of people I know have had a lot worse... HG does sound horrific. But also a few of my friends didn't have it that bad either when I asked them, think it just depends. Either way, it's an amazing thing our bodies are doing, it's bound to feel a bit weird! I'm glad I didn't have it bad as I'm so pathetic with being sick, I'd have been a proper dying Swan!! Haha. Xx

Well looks like Im ovulating today from OPK. Couldn’t entice DH yesterday even though he knew was a key time to DTD which is so frustrating. DTD last Sunday,Monday and Friday night so will just have to hope for the best!!

@Crossfitgirl I've been having brown pick very light spotting from Wednesday, had the same as DayDreamer1707 on Tuesday night, a little pink mixed with 'other stuff'! Then the spotting on Wednesday and Thursday, very very little on Friday, nothing yesterday, then this!! And it's red, but just not a lot of it. (Soz, but I know there's no such thing as tmi on here!) I'll keep you posted, like I say I'm never early and not due till Thursday so 🤷🏼‍♀️

@DayDreamer1707 that sounds positive, crossing my fingers for you! I totally agree, I thought trying to make a baby would be a lot more black and white, it's the confusion that gets you because you still have hope!

@BabySquid that could be an implantation bleed, it would be very early to get a positive if you're not due until Thursday (though in the early cycles I think I tested a week early once). It can happen but I wouldn't put too much weight on the BFN.

@BabySquid it's so frustrating isn't it. Do I class this as AF or am I technically late now...just want a clear answer. I don't know how reliable ICs are but I'm not normally late. Have to see how today goes. FX for you xx

@thumper59 yes I've seen mixed reviews about ICs and people saying they aren't that sensitive. Il just see what happens in the next couple of days. You are t out till she shows or you could be in my situation and not have a clue what's going on 😂. Hope AF doesn't come x

@BabySquid I would love this to be Our time. My friend had what she thought was a really light AF and is now 12 weeks.

@DayDreamer1707 it's all you can really do isn't it. We get so absorbed into it all, doing OPKs, a thousand tests, temping! And at the end of it all all that is left is just waiting, again! We shouldn't bother it makes us no better off when your waiting for BFP or AF at all!
