Reading the comments on here I really don't want to test to early and be disappointed!

@AnnaMC214 - How many dpo are you? Patience of a saint not testing yet if it was due Tuesday!

I had my hormone test today and results will be available from Monday afternoon. Fx all is fine of course but glad I've had it done anyway for peace of mind in the sense of my luteal phase being short.

@starkid I'm not completely sure tbh! I had positive opks days 10 and 11 along with ewcm which seemed oddly early and would make this lp really long (if af is here)! I got ill that same weekend and I'm annoyed I stopped using the opks as then I got more ewcm day 15 and I've since read you can get a double surge if the follicle isn't ready first time. So I'm wondering if I actually o'd later which made my cycle longer or if being ill just messed it up.

So tonight we've been out for a meal and a date night. I had 1 drink! But I've been struck down with aches, headache, hideous wind and acid reflux so I'm generally feeling pretty naff! Hope I'm not coming down with anything 😫 just in time for the weekend!

One of my best friends has just told a mutual friend she is pregnant with her second, she has serious fertility issues according to her doctor and was told she would find it difficult to conceive - how long did it take her to get pregnant? 1 month! 😭 The first time she had just come off the pill. 😩 I am so happy for her but it's so unfair!
she wants to come and see me for a weekend soon. Thing is I don't think I can handle seeing her at the moment as I am approaching a year of ttc. I am so happy for her but it just makes me want to cry the thought of having to smile and ask questions about due dates etc. What can I say though??

Evening ladies...I'm approx 7/8 dpo and got until either next Friday or the following Tuesday until AF shows. Not feeling any symptoms so not building my hopes up and thinking about cycle 3 already. I thought i had symptoms last month and was gutted so maybe reverse psychology will help?

@DuchessofPemberley Sorry it was a BFN..the more I read I was really hoping for a BFP for you. Fingers crossed it's still early and you get your BFP this month.

@FlapJackered there isn't much you can say other than pretending to be busy. I do hope you get the good news before the one year mark. Did your DH have SA, I can't remember?

My DH has gone to work this morning so I'm currently laid in bed with a cuppa decaf tea. Trying to cut out caffeine in case tomorrow's result is a good one.🤞🏻

I’m forcing myself to go to the gym this morning as I’ve not been in around 2 months. Thinking I’d better try and get myself fit in anticipation of pregnancy!

@OhMarnie I'd never thought of it like that! Haha it's coz my hubs nickname is squidler/squid and when I married him I became Mrs Squid, so we're hoping for a baby squid 🙈
I think I'll find it hard cutting the coffee, but tea I've been having decaf for a while, the PG tasty decaf is actually - in my opinion- better than normal. It doesn't have that sometimes bitter aftertaste. Waiting on commission from PG sales haha
I was supposed to go do a Bad Ass class this morning but decided I best do something less exerting. So I'm having my hair done instead haha 💁🏼‍♀️

Ok. So tested again and got a BFN. According to FF only 21% of users who got pregnant had a positive test at this point so not too bothered.

Plus, my temp stayed up today!!! Which means AF is probably not arriving today which means it'll be tomorrow at earliest i.e INSIDE MY USUAL RANGE. So that's a win regardless.

Hope my cycle mates have a lucky weekend!!! Let us know how it goes 😀 and hope everyone else has a lovely stress free weekend.

Haha thanks. Yes it is, but only on two fingers, I don't think I could handle too much sparkly, and the tea cup and saucers were an Xmas gift from my mum, I've been after some odd cups and saucers for a while, so she went round loads of charity shops and got me 4 odd ones. She's the cutest 🥰

@pinkfizz19 I had zero symptoms before I got my positive, just “had a feeling”. Every other month I had more ‘symptoms’. Got my positive 12DPO x

@BabySquid I will do, I don't think I'll get a positive other then feeling sick which isn't unusual for me I don't really have any signs. No signs of nothing! I usually get sore boobs before AF but they're fine too so I don't know what's going on x

@thumper59 I'm the same, no real signs of AF, still no AF on CD31. But I had a BFN yesterday morning, so I'm assuming it's not my month. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, so frustrating when it arrives just in time for the weekend. Still only 3 weeks to half term!

I'm so upset, I don't think I've ovulated this cycle. My temp is back at what it normally is, so I'm out again. Don't think I'm gonna TTC after this cycle, I've had enough

@BostonFern so annoying isn't it! I'd rather her just arrive then get onto the next cycle. Just been to gym to sweat out some of my grogginess. Argh I don't get half term 😫

@PinkFizz19 I didn’t get any obvious symptoms before my BFP.... my boobs were slightly more sore than usual but I was convinced AF was coming. Got my BFP at 13dpo, the day after AF was due.

@cupcakesandglitter don’t lose hope lovely, I know it’s hard and frustrating but we will all get our BFPs have you used OPK along with temping? Maybe just try a more relaxed approach next month and have fun and enjoy it? Sending lots of love x

@cupcakesandglitter I don't remember your opk results, did you get a "definitely positive" as your best result or a "slightly lighter" one? I was browsing through something online and stumbled upon different patterns to a positive opk. One of them was showing the line darkening, getting to a high as 90% dark that most of us would consider a positive or "about to happen positive" and then the line would lighten again so we'd take it as "missing the peak". However, the line would then start darkening again to a definite 100% positive and it could be 2-3 days between the two. This is exactly what happened to me this month. Don't give up. Even if that isn't the case. Remember, it's normal not to ovulate once or twice a year. Not ovulating hasn't been a pattern for you. Plus there's still so much the doctors and medicine can do. I understand the frustration though, I'm slowly approaching a year of ttc. But don't give up, we're all here for you.

@cupcakesandglitter oh no hun! Are you sure it's not just a random dip temp? Just wait and see what the next few temps do I am sure it will come back up as it was looking so good. I get what you mean though as since hearing my friend's news I just feel like crying all the time. I don't think I can carrying on ttc forever. You are a lot younger though and you can definitely afford to have a break from it for a while if it's becoming too much. Xx
For several reasons we can't say no to the friend coming but I have told DH if I am feeling like I won't cope I will just cancel the week before and pretend I have the flu. I am so happy for her but (not to be over dramatic but..) it feels like I have been stabbed in the heart a little bit. 😢

@KatBeCool Yes we had the SA DH had shit loads of sperm quantity-wise but his morphology was only 5% so there are a lot of them but most are two headed/tailed beasts. Doc says that because there are so many it is not an issue though apparently. Did your DH get the SA done?
