@MrsAW2018 I had pinching in the few first days DPO and got my BFP so fx it's a good sign for you too!!!!

Been following the chat. Just heading into fertile window today.

Bless the other half, after DTD this morning he told me to lie down and put a pillow under my bum as he had read it helped! Then brought tea. 😍

I am in cycle 6, am 34, got PCOS and on CD11 of a 27day cycle.

I always get EWCM and ovu bleeding though (due to inositol which I take for fertility) so am pretty sure I ovulate around day 12/13.

Does anyone know if the ovu bleeding comes before or after the egg is waiting and ready? I must be missin the timings somehow.

My girlfriend fell pregnant on day 22 of a 28 day cycle (another happy accident! One of the lucky uber fertile ladies! Ha ha!)

Hi all! I've been following along but not managing to post much. Hope everyone is doing well!
I'm currently CD15, was expected to ovulate day 16/17 as that has been the trend according to FF over the last few months. However, I had a slight rise in temp today and think that CM has dried up (yuk!) as it usually does after ov. A little disappointed as we DTD on CD 11 and 14 but was hoping to find time to do much more the end of this week but now I'm doubting whether I am still fertile. Going to try to it anyway and see how it goes. Taking this first month as a practice month and figuring out what works best for us in terms of scheduling/making time for DTD.
At 6am this morning, for the first time ever, husband asked what my temp had done when he heard me take it. I think it's suddenly become real for him so it's nice not to be the only one thinking over it constantly!

What's the usual CM at around 7dpo? I thought it should be fairly non existent but I've definitely got a fair amount... i really can't get my head around this EWCM/different stages, I have to look it up every time and it still means nothing to me - I don't know why I struggle so much!!

@stormtrooperjulian the only newish thing I've been taking is synthroid for hypothyroidism but I started it in September. Before that my LP was ten days, since then it's been 13 days only one of the months (in October) and the rest remained at ten days. Seeing how this is now 16dpo and absolutely no sign of AF, I'm confused. DH wants me to do a blood test but I'm not late enough for that I don't think. My cycles have been 24-26 days, I'm now on CD32.

@Random2468 I usually get quite a bit of white creamy CM. TMI maybe but there we go 😂

I'm just playing the waiting game with you now! I don't chart and I did a random OPK when I had lots of EWCM and it was a positive and my cervix was High Soft and Open too. Add in the cramps and I guess I ovulated around NYD! If I even did.

No idea when AF is coming but next month I will start chatting my temps so I have a bit more control!

I'm on day 8 of creamy Cm that is just getting more in terms of volume; I thought it doesn't last that long.

Same as my cervix hasn't come down at all in the last 8 days.
I'm still high (some days I can't feel it it's so high) then other it lowers ever so slightly so I can only just reach it. Still soft but closed now.

What are the ‘rules’ around medication in the 2ww?

I’m about 6dpo.

I would say tmi, but I don’t think that exists in here anymore! I was sick late Tuesday evening, and had 3 bouts of really watery stools in the 3 hours after. I stayed off school yesterday as queried norovirus. But I wasn’t sick again. I stayed off today too as was still feeling fatigued and just unwell. Thought I was improving but have just had to run to the loo for another extremely watery stool. No idea what’s up or why! However I need to go back to school/work tomorrow. Can I take Imodium or is that a complete no no?

No other symptoms of pregnancy. We dtd at the right times, just not feeling lucky. It’s just one thing after another as partners bike was stolen and school is manic (when I was there) so it’s all a bit stressful xx

I guess I lied it's no longer CD32, AF is here. Absolutely devasted. Called to schedule HSG as they previously asked to call on the first day, they hired a new person to answer the phone, she's absolutely clueless, put me in an even worse mood.
Me: I need to schedule an HSG appointment.
Her: An HSG?
Me: Yes.
Her: An H-S-G?
Me: Yes, an H-S-G.
Her: What is that?
Me, utterly annoyed: I thought you'd know what that is.
Her: What's the first date of your period, I'll have someone call you back.

@Keyboard91 I would not take Imodium as it can dry you out everywhere, not just where you need it. Maybe some activated charcoal?

@Jessikka @Random2468 joining you both in the 'puzzled by my cm' camp. I don't normally have much cm and I've always found it hard to judge what 'type' it is. But today and yesterday I've had TMI great globs of slightly pink looking slime I assume this is the 'sticky' phase or I've just created a new stage of alien like cm. I've never had this before. And online seems to be saying that sticky cm would appear about CD 4-6. I'm on cycle day 14. My cycles can be very around 34 days so maybe my cm stages are just delayed but very odd nonetheless. The reproductive system is a weird and wonderful thing

@KatBeCool no! I am so sorry af turned up. It was looking so positive. That is strange your luteal phase was so long. Our bodies do seem to find new ways to really screw us over don't they. It's so unfair.
Really frustrating that the receptionist didn't have a clue either, that's the last thing you need! Take care of yourself tonight and make sure your DH looks after you. X

I'm so sorry @KatBeCool. A past cycle of mine was randomly about 6 days longer than normal. Our bodies can be so cruel to us! We're all here if you want to talk.

I'm lucky so far (cycle 1) that my Cm is textbook. I found a site with pics and after I was over the shock that someone put that on the internet, I was able to tell exactly where I was.

I know pint tinges are usually from spotting so is it possibly that? Slime like EWCM Or lotion-like creamy texture .....but pink?

@Jessikka haha, things they don't teach in sex education- not only will you be staring at your own cervical mucus in the quest to get pregnant, you'll also be studying that of internet strangers!

That's good yours seems to be at Ieast identifiable, even if it's not quite following the expected time frames. Are your cycles normally regular?

It was closer to egg white than creamy but sort of thick, jelly like egg white.

@TrashKitten10 could you spot around ovulation maybe??!

I'm not sure about my cycles at all - I'm new to coming off the pill so still in limbo. I'm hoping they mirror my usual 25day cycle but I doubt it!

I just love how it was drummed into us that if you miss a pill YOU MAY END UP PREGNANT and that it can happen anytime you're not careful .... what they DONT explain is the limited fertile window and the bloody stress that comes with it!!!

I had no idea about any of this stuff!

Defo this can be ovulation spotting - day 14 is bang on time! I get this every month... (TMI warning)... sometimes a streak of blood and defo pink tinged EWCM.

GET DTD ASAP!!!!!

Our bodies are very strange but wonderful things arent they! I expected to see something happening with my body after stopping the pill (ive been on microgynon for 10+ years).. its coming upto 1 month now from my last pill and haven't felt any different or had any very noticeable signs of ovulation so i guess like you say just wait and see what happens. I really dont know what to expect. Can i ask you guys, how long would you wait for AF to arrive before POAS? Last pill 17th december - had withdrawal bleed 20th-23rdish.. protected sex until 30th then regular unprotected since? Thanks guys x

@TrashKitten10 😂 alien slime! That's hilarious! Thanks for all the honesty and TMI ladies - where else can you go for this kind of advice! Glad I'm not the only one baffled by the mysteries of CM

Sorry to hear af got you @KatBeCool. It's so frustrating when our cycles throw a curve ball like that. I had a 39 day one after a 30 dayer. Was so annoyed that my body was playing tricks with me like that. But if it's any consolation I got my BFP on a cycle that would have been 36/37 days as I waited a whole 22 days to ovulate.
Are you certain on the day you o'd? I'm sure I've asked this. Do you temp and/or use opks? Due to my "irregularities" (even though the nhs would say that's normal) I had been getting my o day so wrong some months and almost gave up if it got to cd20 and assumed I must have o'd.

I'm really well thank you. Can't really complain atm. I'm 5+2 weeks and I've yet to get the horrendous nausea and exhaustion. Don't get me wrong I'm going to bed earlier and I don't feel particularly sociable but I've not yet experienced what some of the symptoms the other ladies have. Only thing is my boobs are absolutely killing me and have been since 12dpo. You still having some cramping?

@MrsLBear I kept looking back wondering if I ovulated when I thought I did and everything matches up, all the symptoms, bbt, etc. Even Flo selected that day as ovulation. Only thing I'm glad about is having a more normal period, before I started taking synthroid and for a few months after it was borderline scant, which meant my lining was far too thin. Now if only I can find a receptionist who knows what HSG is...

@KatBeCool bless you, can't believe they are that baffled by HCG I mean they must get so many more medically complicated and wordy requests than that 🙄🙄🙄🙄
That's good it has improved your af in terms of volume. Could it be your body is still adjusting to the medication?
Periods are so sensitive and I never knew how much could affect your cycle until I had wedding stress and it sent it all into absolute chaos.
Have you used the cb digital opks?
