Hi lovelies
Started actively trying this month so thought it would be nice if anyone wanted a journey buddy.
I’m 35, DH is 42.
Had 2 pregnancies in past (2002,2011) ending in MC
Married now for 9years so yeah looking to start a lil family.
Currently 2dpo and wait is already horrendous and symptom spotting is in place 😂
So tell me all about you and your journey 💋

Haven't be on in a few days as I was dying with a flu, for all the meds I have been taking lately it is lucky I had a BFN if I am honest!

@Louise and @Hopeful any updates on BFP for us?? Grin

I got an unclear test yesterday. Looked like there might have been a line. But bfn this morning and some brown spotting and cramping this afternoon so af is on her way I think.

@Lammoshay how is smep working out ??

So far so good- every other day and now got the next 3 days on the trot so glad it’s fallen at the weekend or poor hubby would be having a heart attack 😂🙈😂

I also spoke to a medium who told me it would be 2-3 months till bfp so will see what happens- dunno if I’m 100% sold on all that! X

I'm gutted but at least it came early this year and not late. So I know and can get on it with.
I can't wait to hear about how ur smep works out. Think we r giving it a go next

so start on day 8? Dtd every 2 days until u get a positive? Then 3 days in a row? Skip a day and one for luck. Is that how u did it ??

Yes that’s correct- however I’m gonna try for 4 days on the run not the 3, skip and one for luck.

Stomach is very crampy today and back hurts alot but i have been cleaning my bedroom, well in advance of the little arrival so that probably doesnt help.

I noticed my areolas had gone bigger and darker, blue veins and dark circles round my areolas too, i also had a banging headache and cramps and backache. All my internet cheapies were saying BFN but i knew they werent right so bought a 2 pack of frer and did one yesterday morning when my ovia app said to test and boom a BFP!!

So excited! Not completely kicked in yet, waiting for my af date (tomorrow) to come and go and take my remaining frer on sunday for, hopefully, a darker line then it will be REAL!

Fingers crossed SMEP works for you and @hopeful31 this month, i am staying around as i want to share things with you and see you both get your BFP's :)

Ahhhh @louise392 that’s brilliant news, I’m so glad we’ve got a BFP at last. How are you feeling?

Sorry I’ve been off the thread, I was two days late this month and got my hopes up even though I had all my usual PMT signs. AF hit me hard. DD also sorted her room out this week and found lots of her baby clothes. Had a quiet weep by myself at the thought that we won’t ever need them 😢 Must pull myself together. I’m on CD15 and my Ovia app said it was my peak fertility day so we DTD tonight and will do it again Sunday. I did google SMEP but my husband’s not really well enough for that much action!

Hope you ladies are all ok.

Hi All, been TTC for 3 months but had another BFN this morning (woke up at 2.30am and by 3.30am couldn’t sleep and tested). Struggling to keep positive. I know it’s early days but it seems like it might never happen. I get so excited and kid myself in to seeing signs and the. take an early response test...5 days later along comes AF.

Yesterday I had really bad pulling and stretching, couldn't sleep very well at all last night, feel a bit nauseous this morning and bit irritable.

Ive switched to the pregnancy Ovia app and says i am due 2nd November and i am 4 weeks exactly today :) little bean the size of a poppy seed apparently.

Lol on the SMEP action, I did that this month, it is hard going, some of the nights it was a forced DTD rather than a love making session just to get his sperm haha!

@hopeful31 No, I am not going to see the GP, i have private healthcare with AVIVA and that includes a free GP service where you speak to them over a video call, ill do that when i am around 7 weeks i think.

You dont have your booking in til 8 weeks anyway and i want to just book in with One to One midwives as they give you a midwife whos assigned to you the whole pregnancy and you have all your appointments with the same one which is good as if you go through the NHS system you generally get whoever is available each time round here.

I am also having all my scans privately, going to have a 4D one done this time as i wanted one last time but didnt in the end.

Sorry I forgot that u already told me that ur going with the private health care. I wish u a healthy and happy 9 months.
Af is in full flow today. Pity party on the sofa and I'll be back to normal tomorrow lol

Aww, will soon be over and you will be ready to dtd again, How long does your af usually last?

Cant wait to tell my daughter, she will be so excited but we have said we will go for a scan around 7 weeks then we will tell her and parents once we have had it all checked.

Af only lasts around 3 days. But my cycles are around 33 says in total.
