Hi lovelies
Started actively trying this month so thought it would be nice if anyone wanted a journey buddy.
I’m 35, DH is 42.
Had 2 pregnancies in past (2002,2011) ending in MC
Married now for 9years so yeah looking to start a lil family.
Currently 2dpo and wait is already horrendous and symptom spotting is in place 😂
So tell me all about you and your journey 💋

@hopeful31 Did my last frer this morning :) top one was at 12dpo on Thursday the other was this morning day after at was due :) think I can stop testing now.

My SMEP is kinda still ok- I was knackered thu, then hubby went out Friday so didn’t dtd but I still haven’t had a positive OV test- close but not just yet so gonna do it tomorrow and tue and hopefully catch it and chart will look good 👌
Flo app was out by days so following the flow app and that seems more accurate and predicts OV on tue so will see. 🤞

I would love to try SMEP but with himself working away monday to friday it just would not work. And then this weekend he was so tired from cows calfing and ewes lambing we only DTD once yesterday morning. ov is showing as around thursday on my app but I am temping now so we will see. He will be home Friday so we will be DTD each day this weekend anyway.

On a plus note I have him mostly off cigs. He is using an evape which has to be better right?

@Lammoshay that chart is looking good. We only DTD every other day on the fertile week, means the sperm will be more concentrated :)

I know it should be every other until OV but not gonna lie I’m like a bitch on heat- dunno what’s up with me!!
Plus the thu and fri kinda threw it out so just doing as much as poss to make up haha even tho is prob won’t make a difference x

Haha @lammoshay DTD as much as you can, the more swimmers in there, the more there will be sitting waiting for your egg :)

Sorry I've been a bit quiet, I've been getting ready to start smep 😂 not sure about ur tests about I just use the clear blue because then I don't have to think lol.
Do u think that u ovulated? If so how many dpo are u? How did smep work out ?

Had a call from my midwife this morning going over everything she will be doing for the next 9 months, mostly positive, downside is as i am overweight and have had 2 previous csections, i am in the high risk catagory, was hoping to have a natural birth this time round as i have had one inbetween the 2 sections but shes put doubt in my mind now and said I will have to speak to a consultant to discuss risks etc closer to the time.

She is coming round the house to see me next friday to do my bloods and have another chat.

@Louise392 that's tuff. Sorry to hear that. Although if having a c section is safer for u both, is it the better option? Hope ur ok x

Hi hopeful yes I think so as all really faint after that and been getting fainter and fainter.
Have no idea how many dpo/ do I go from the actual day I OV or the start date of my fertile window?
So would either be 19th or 25th.
So would either be 9dpo if fertile or 3dpo if from 25th OV?????

Yeah smep was ok however I was a bit scared to do every other day incase I missed it so ended up doing 2 days on, 2 off and then 3 straight x

What do they class as “overweight” if you don’t mind me asking- can inbox me if needed as I’m not the smallest and a c section would worry me to x

Hi @Lammoshay, She based it on my BMI being 40, not really weight as such but BMI being high.

To be honest the last csection was the best birth i have had out of all 3,

first was horrendous being induced, doing full contractions, labour then having an emergency c section put to sleep and getting an infection, ended up staying in hospital for 10 days.

Second was natural birth but had to have forceps and an episiotomy, when they did that they cut my vein and so i had to have a blood transfusion so was in for about 5 days.

3rd i elected a c section and was awake, had a spinal and was out of hospital in 2 days, very easy no complications at all so if i can do that again i possibly would.

Hi ladies! Hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread. It’s been 10 days since my positive OPK and have another 8 days until AF is due, the waiting is killing me!! I’ve had a couple of symptoms like nausea, mood swings and increase in appetite. I also feel tender from the outside and I know this might sound crazy but I just feel like there’s something in there I don’t want to get my hopes up as last month I was really upset when I got my BFN who else is waiting to test? x

I felt a little nauseous this morning but apart from that I have no other symptoms today, really trying to stay optimistic!
