Hi lovelies
Started actively trying this month so thought it would be nice if anyone wanted a journey buddy.
I’m 35, DH is 42.
Had 2 pregnancies in past (2002,2011) ending in MC
Married now for 9years so yeah looking to start a lil family.
Currently 2dpo and wait is already horrendous and symptom spotting is in place 😂
So tell me all about you and your journey 💋

Aww, just read your messages, I felt the same last month when hubby had a 'bad foot so couldn't dtd one night when I was ovulating. It's So annoying they don't understand that we are on a timescale they aren't.

I am 36 this year and so I am aware that the older you get your fertility goes down so it needs to be now or never but hubby is like, yeah it will happen when it does.

Maybe you needed a good vent, reads like he understands though x

@Lammoshay I'm sorry it sounds like your going through a tough time.

I totally understand where ur coming from and how hard it is. But he does seem to understand. Maybe try not to push him away. I hope u both get things sorted soon

Hello Ladies,

I am TTC#1 Cycle 1. Only came off the pill earlier this month so I am not too confident of getting a BFP too soon but we are having fun trying.

Not use OPK or temping yet as I want to see if it just happens first!! Not even sure when my cycle will be back to normal so just recording it on an app at the min. Apparently I am ovulating today, and I cried for no reason last night (like bawled my eyes out over a white head on my leg cause I have a wedding to attend in a week and a half! Madness I know) so maybe I am, but due to us having snow I won't be seeing DP until Friday, and by then we won't have DTD since Sunday evening so chances are his swimmers wont be working! Oh the joys of TTC!

I came off the pill in October and had every symptom of pregnancy under the sun for the first couple of months and no periods til December 23rd think they are just your body getting used to the hormones and things again.
This month we are Dtd every other day from end of period (or what seemed like a period) see how that goes.

@Louise392 I had my AF as usual when I came off the pill, now any little spasm in my tummy or lower back I am wondering if it is me ovulating etc. Its mental!! Like I am so for "if it happens it happens" but I am a control freak and I want to try control it at the same time but I feel it is too early for that!

If he is home we DTD every day, but he works 2 hours from home so only comes home on a wednesday and then friday to sunday! so Mon, Tue and Thurs are always missed out! Nothing can be done about that though!

I know what you mean, I like to be in control too and it's the only thing we have no control over at all..

Oh no, hopefully ovulation will fall on a sunday and you can dtd Fri, Sat and Sun before he goes again then the Wednesday too when he is back.

Think I start my high fertile period tomorrow. So we will dtd as much as possible from tomorrow lol. All I see now is pregnant women. But I'm remaining optimistic that this is my month. How's r u

Oh that is good news then, fingers crossed. We have not had any BFP's on here yet for a long time I think we are all due some.

Got really achey lower back today, ovia app says fertile period from 6th for me but we are dtd every other day, started on Monday so tonight we will be dtd just to cover all basis.
Ive ordered some opk's and some more one step tests a couple days ago so waiting for them to come

We really r due some bfp. I've been using the clear blue ovulation kits. Not ordering any pregnancy tests cause I'm going to try to hold off this month until af is due. I'll TRY lol

I looked at them but they are not cheap are they and I wanted to test all month to make sure I don't miss it.
The ovia app says fertile week of the 6th but the page on here says it's week of 2nd, going by my last 2 period dates, been having really bad back, stomach and ovary pains and bad gas (sorry tmi) this evening so I am tending to think its more like 2nd.

Haha good luck with that! I don't think I would be able to wait the whole 2 weeks. Will have to keep busy.

I know @Louise we really can't control it no matter how we try! As much as I said I wouldn't be (due to the fact that it is my first month) I really do think I will be upset when AF comes next month. The joys of being a woman!

@hopeful31 hopefully everyone on here will have the BFP soon. Fingers crossed.

I just had my auntie on the phone, she had her first and only at 40 - my cousin (now 7 nearly 8) was sick the other night and my auntie was up and down all night to her. She said she could barely keep her eyes open and she couldn't imagine trying to do night feeds now, and was telling me to have kids young! Oh if she only knew!!

So had another bfn on Tuesday, and some spotting yesterday, but that’s stopped again.

How many days late are you now @viennawaits4you?

I ain’t gonna lie but my nips are proper tender tonight!

Are you usually pretty regular @Vienna? 13 days is very late, my last period was more like light bleeding/brown blood for 3 days and that was 3 days late, how much spotting have you had?

@Viennawaits4you have you tried a clear blue digital? They are normally fairly bang on. Another woman on here was getting BFN but was a few days late. Took a clear blue and it was positive.

DP is home this evening and I am already ready to DTD. I am so bloody horny!! (Prob TMI soz) but I think it is cause we are TTC I am worse than normal!
