Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

I've been using the Ovia app and it said I ovulated last Wednesday but I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating now... EWCM, some cramping.
Another thing that has taken me by surprise is how much my sex drive has increased! The last 2/3 days it's been really distracting and every dream I have had has revolved around DTD.... I'm actually away this week so my fiancé isn't even benefitting! Has anyone else found this?

According to my app I'll be heading into fertile window now. Still have a bit of spotting today as well as yesterday so I don't know what's going on!

I'm late but I have a feeling I'm having one of my long cycles 😕 I'm on CD31 now. I'll test at the end of the week if it hasn't shown up but zero symptoms. Mind u my hubby says I crabby so maybe it's on it's way lol

Hi, I've just (6 days ago) came off Nexplanon after 2 and a half years, since me and my OH decided to start trying for baby #1. No visit from mother nature yet, I can hardly tell any difference so far but I guess it's still quite early. The nurse told me I should expect my period anytime soon and once we can determine whether it's back to normal over next couple of months we can officially start making efforts to make it happen (we're "making efforts" in the meantime anyway lol). I'm am beyond excited!

Hi again everyone - so I'm just coming to the end of my first no pill month and for the past week I've felt really nauseous all the time: has anyone else had this in the lead up to their first "proper" period? I mean, it could also be ovulation I guess as I haven't done that in a while either!

@hillsandpills last month was my first one off and I felt so sick, my boobs had a mind of their own and I felt odd to the point that I thought I was pregnant! Sadly AF came and that was that ... I think it was just my body being in shock at having a normal cycle for the first time in a long time!

Hi ladies, hope you dont mind me joining! I originally came off the pill in Oct to TTC no1, had a few normal cycles, but then had to go back on the pillfor 5 weeks to make sure I wasn't on AF for my wedding. So I had my withdrawal bleed 22 Jan, and now cd15. My cycles are quite short so expecting AF/BFP in about 10 days.

From when I came off the pill in Oct, I pretty much experienced everything you guys have said - random emotions, nausea, spotting, spots on face etc!! It's so weird isn't it what your body does when trying to get back to normal!!

After a year of extreme broodiness, subject to getting the all clear on our Zika tests next week, DH and I have agreed to start TTC and ( again subject to blood tests) I'm going to come off the pill as soon as possible !! I'm so excited to start trying!!!

Does anyone have any experience of Noriday? And how long it took your cycles to get back to normal ( I know everyone is different).

I felt a bit sick today so bought a test and it's negative 😒 wasn't obv a morning pee but it would be faint like surely if I were as I'm now 5 days overdue.

Ugh long cycles are so annoying no idea when or if I have ovulated now. I'm a bit sad now. Hope it's not a 40 something day cycle this time 😢

@kinsella82 helloo.. still the same here. No AF as of yet! Its been about 6/7 weeks now since my last pill and no sign of a bleed since my withdrawal bleed. How about you? Xx

Ugh that's so annoying @Beddie11 I really hope af turns up ASAP.
I'm ok thanks, in my fertile window at the moment (I think) so trying to balance how many times to dtd!

@kinsella82 its very frustrating, i keep thinking well maybe i could be pregnant and thats why no AF yet, but every test is a BFN sooo i dont know what to think! Oooo wishing you a very successful fertile window lol 😁 xx

AF is here! 30 days after I finished withdrawal bleed so not too long really. Time to start dowloading some apps!

I'm back in the 2ww loopy part of my cycle! AF due on Valentine's, so a week today and if I ovulated when I think I'm 7dpo. For the last couple of days I have had aching in my right hip and general twinges/ heaviness in my lower abdomen. I can really feel it when i cough or sneeze too! Its almost like AF is on the way, only more one sided, not as bad and way too early. Otherwise I have slightly sore boobs, a bit more gassy and more frequent number 2s (sorry!) and that's about it. Anyone heard anything re: the pelvic pain before?

@Peaky297 sounds like very promising symptoms indeed! How are u feeling now, did anything develop? Its now 7 weeks since my withdrawal bleed finished and no sign whatsoever of AF. Im feeling very disheartened today, like if im not getting AF, am i even ovulating? I know i could be of course but I'm just on a bit of a debbie downer today xx

@Beddie11 you absolutely might be ovulating so I would be dtd every few days anyway just to cover yourself.
On my second baby I came off the pill on 17th Nov and had no bleed whatsoever and then conceived around the 3rd of Jan without even realising so keep the chin up x

@Beddie11 sorry you are down. I feel very down at the moment too :(. It’s now 54 days since I took my last pill and still feeling nothing. I haven’t ovulated this whole time 😞. I started taking Vitex this week, hoping it will help my body wake up!
Try not to worry, you think you had EWCM didn’t you? So perhaps your BFP is on the way rather than af!

I took my last cycle of pills starting at the end of December but I missed two days in a row while out of town so my final period was really light and weird - either it started 14 January with two light days, two days of nothing, one medium day, and one light day, or it started the 18th and lasted only two days! (Definitely not pregnant.) So either way, I'm waiting for my period to return, and once that's done we'll start TTC seriously. I'm 33 and I had been on birth control pills half my life because my cramps were so bad I'd actually turn greenish and vom, and painkillers did nothing. So I'm a bit worried what my first proper period off them is going to be like...Fortunately, my cycle was very regular before I went on the Pill, but that was 16 years ago, things change. Aaaargh, now I'm just obsessing that things are going to go horribly wrong! Confused

For the hell of it I used a Clearblue ovulation test this month and after seven days of high fertility but no peak I quit because I didn't want to use up too many sticks. So I guess something is happening in there...

So I got my period this morning 😕 35 day cycle.

So I went on eBay and bought some ovulation tests as this helped us last time round at least knowing you are dtd on the right days!

Ladies, get them on eBay, I got 40 ovulation tests and 10 pregnancy tests for £4.99 delivered!

@kinsella82 thanks for the support its nice to have people to vent too! Its just so hard not knowing whats going on with your own body! Fx im actually ovulating then!
@ttc2019babyno1 hi! Im on cycle day 52 so we are very similar.. i did have one show of ewcm but just the one time so dont know if thats enough to have ovulated if you get me! I tested this morning and bfn so dont think its that! Have u had any signs of anything at all??x

@beddie11 hang in there. I finally had my withdrawal bleed 60 days after stopping the pill.
I had all the same symptoms as you. It only lasted 3 days. I'm currently on day 16 of cycle (I think- I can't remember if the first day of you period is number one. Or the first day after is number 1).
Fingers crossed it happens soon for you 🤞
