Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

@Laniem87.. have u had any egg white cervical mucus? Thats the only sign i got. And it waw only one occasion of wiping and seeing it. Some people get it for days. Its different for everyone xx

@whatsthecraic91 I started with the brown spotting when wiping for 2 days and then my af started properly yesterday (my first proper one since the pill) after I had been for a run so yours is probably on the way. On the pill mine always started on a Friday (and before, come to that!) And it is still on a Friday apparently haha

@beddie11 nope! That’s what I’ve been looking out for! I read that it can take a couple of cycles to come back after coming off the pill, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed! Unbelievable what the pill does to your body!

@amehh hopefully today’s the day then as it’s day 3! Still no sign tho, slept all night with no pad on and nothing when I wiped this morning 😑

@whatsthecraic91 that's what mine was doing too and I got really annoyed with it. Went out for a run and got cramps halfway round and it started when I got back. It's actually a relief knowing everything is on time

@MichelleM30 I know! Only once around the time of the ewcm, did do it more in jan but I don’t think it was at ovulation time. I can’t believe it happened so quick, we had planned to start consciously trying - monitoring fertility etc - in Feb! I’m just hoping now that it all progresses smoothly xx

I'm sure it will, good luck with everything. It's such an exciting time, the hardest part now is keeping it secret, esp if ur not feeling great 😕

Still playing the waiting game here. Tested a few days ago as I was having some symptoms but BFN. I'll test again early next week if there's still no AF.

This is now day 4 of only a bit of brown blood when I wipe, Ive done a bit of research online and think if it keeps up for another couple of days I’ll POAS. Just to make sure!

Hi ladies! Am new to this thread, was wondering if anyone else has experienced a negative change in mood since stopping the pill? I stopped the pill 8 days ago after being on it continuously for 12 years. Last week didn’t feel affected at all although on 7 day break so not unusual. Today I feel awful, super emotional, depressed and teary for absolutely no reason! The excitement about TTCing and extreme broodiness seem to have gone out the window. I had thought being off the pill was meant to improve your mood so am hoping this is just hormones settling down and it will pass. Good luck to you all for speedy BFPs!

@Kinsella82 yes for TTC #3, how old are yours? I have a 4yo and 2yo! Stopped my pill last week and just having breakthrough bleed so no idea what to expect now, hoping things settle and then wait for a "normal" period x

@Lucylondon32 hi! Mine are 6 and 4 at the moment but if I'm lucky enough to get pregnant soon enough they'll be 7 and 5 by the time baby arrives.
I know they will love a brother or sister so it'll be exciting seeing it all through their eyes this time around!

This evening I have a bit of streaky blood when I wipe (tmi so so sorry!) and I'm seriously crampy. Feel wretched. So I'm hoping this is the start of AF now and I'll know where I am then.

@Kinsella82 ahh lovely! Yes I'm hoping for things to go smoothly, fingers crossed for us all. I've started to track in the Flo app so I know when I've started AF etc x

@JillyJ1988 I've been up and down too. I wonder if it's the confusion of hormones.

Ok Af has definitely arrived and as it's my first proper one in 4 years it's horrendous :( so heavy and cramps down my legs and my entire tummy :( really feel crap

Thanks @Beddie11 I know it's a good thing to be getting it only a month after stopping the pill but it's floored me with how severe it is. I barely got anything when on the pill. The lightest bleed for half a day maybe

@beddie11 all ok here thanks! I've been quiet as there wasn't much to report. AF came and went and everything settled down. I am now heading into what should be my fertile window/ ovulation week... time to get busy!!! How's things with you?
Also congrats to the lady with the BFP!! Wonderful news x
