@PastaSauceHoarder so sorry aww you and your dh are young and have plenty time. I know it doesn’t make a difference when you really want a baby and it’s somehow little consolation x 💐 💖 I feel like that as well mind, I’m starting to wish me and dh had tried sooner but hindsight is a great thing isn’t it? For instance if i could have guaranteed I would be pregnant now I would have started trying alittle earlier but if it had happened straight away back then I wouldn’t have been ready. You just can’t predict what is going to happen. I was watching one born every minute and it was making me seriously broody, before I had ds that program used to scare me lol but now watching even the most traumatic births doesn’t put me off.

See I did NCT classes but didn't watch one born every minute before my DD thinking ignorance is.m bliss which it kind of was - my birth went great (just had retained product for 6 months after which cause problems) but the actual labour went really well - so when I think about giving birth again I think I have rose tinted spectacles coz you forget the pain and coz everything went smoothly I always think if I'm lucky enough to have a second healthy baby that everything will go great again but there's no guarantee is there!!!

@MummyBearBoo haha I was just as deluded before ds cape along. I had my full detailed birth plan all ready with the water ‘nice natural’ water birth that I so much wanted. Did it happen? No way in hell did it lol. All I cared about was seeing ds for the first time and what ever plan I had paled in comparison and was soon forgotten once he was here. I had a traumatic Labour and some complications but nothing too serious, certainly can’t complain when I see some of the births on one born.

@pasta Thats exactly how I felt after my bfn's there last week... i felt anoyed at myself for waiting and for stressing over the age gap. As pp said, hindsight is a wonderful thing. But when we all get our bfp we will think back to this time of waiting as a distant memory. xo

Hi ladies, I’m out this month! I’m on CD28 today and this morning AF appeared out the blue full appearance no pre spotting or anything. Feeling abit rubbish today. Looks like my cycles are back to 28 days as they used to be. I only had a 10 day luteal phase this cycle so hoping I’ll ovulate early this cycle. Does anybody know what dose of b vitamin you take to help ovulate earlier?

Aww no @coco Im so sorry. Seems like this is your periods finally back to normal.

Vitamin b6 regulates periods and helps with hormones... thats the vitamin I mentioned in previous thread that helps my dh survive my pmt every month. Lol. I notice a big difference taking them.

Like you, were currently ttc. We tried once in July and it didn't happen, then my OH got cold feet and told me to wait until 'next year' I felt like someone had ripped my heart out.
November he started being a lot more open to the idea so we started actively trying. Nothing's happened yet and he's been doing his research (he never believed younomly have one chance a month and that chance is around 20% if you get it right) and he told me the other night if he had believed me and known it could take up to 12 months for a healthy couple then he would have wanted to try sooner.

I felt kind of mad that he assumed I was just baby crazy! But very sad.

@Scarletrose18 thanks so much, hopefully a good sign that my cycle length is back to normal. Do you think that my ovulation might have been knocked out a bit as well? I’m wondering if I’ll ovulate earlier this month with my cycle being abit more my usual length. I literally peed on the pregnancy strip them whipped and there was AF (sorry about TMI) I couldn’t have timed it worse if I tried and it was abit disheartening. I wouldn’t have bothered wasting the test lol if I’d realised! I had no pmt symptoms/cramps leading up to it or anything which is unusual for me.
Thanks scarlet for the info, I thought you had said about the vitamins but couldn’t remember. I’ll try that, when I told dh about it lessening pmt like you just said he said well def get some of that in to you 🤣 the cheek lol.

@ShortandSweet96 welcome to the thread. I feel exactly like you today. Dh wouldn’t really take about it until October last year and now even he is regretting that we didn’t start trying earlier. I must admit thought I didn’t feel ready myself to try until October but I regret not letting nature take its course just alittle earlier. Dh keeps saying everything happens for a reason and that maybe it’ll be better and ant easier when ds is a little older. I just dreamt they’d be close in age and didn’t want ds forming memories before a sibling if that makes sense.

@cocobana thank you. It does make sense! I can understand why you would want to make memories with the whole family rather than introducing another later on, but it would be lovely to see his little emotions when you tell him he's going to be a big brother too!

We're trying for our first so I'm just looking forward to everything, even the lack of sleep, I'm willing and raring to go!

@ShortandSweet96 aww that’s lovely, sending you lots of baby dust for your first. Enjoy the sleep while you get it and make sure you get lots of ‘you’ time. You may be lucky and get a baby that sleeps haha it does happen my friends baby sleeps so well I couldn’t believe the difference between her and ds, it was huge. She was so easy to look after. Ds never slept well and dh always jokes that maybe the second one will be a piece of cake!

Ah sorry about AF @Cocobana, that really sucks! I think thats all of us now then, I tested this morning and another BFN. Not even a slither of a line. 🙄 I don't think I'll test anymore, AF is due on Wednesday so I think I'll just wait for it to come.

I guess January wasn't our lucky month for any of us!!

Sorry about your AF coco - at least your cycle is back to a regular 28 days! Guess most of us are heading for the Feb bus tho I may be due to ovulate end of Jan but we’ll see be doing OPKs from next week!! Xx

Coco, just thinking, are you sure the bleed is AF? If it came suddenly and feels different from usual, could it be implantation?

Oh no sorry that you got a bfn and I’m keeping my fingers crossed your bfp is just the matter of a couple of days away and that the level of hormone just hasn’t built up yet.
