Ok so despite the fact I haven’t ovulated yet glow still says my chance I f getting pg today is 9.6% which is a medium chance bearing in mind that a high chance is about 38% chance of getting pg - how did I get pg twice when we weren’t trying in fact when we were trying not to??! DTD tonight sobwill hopefilly ovulate soon!!! Xx

There is The Gruffalo's child which my DD also loves the sequel to the Gruffalo and the Scarecrow's wedding is pretty good! My DD loves books and has done since she was a baby - she really likes Charlie and Lola books too (though these are a bit short for bedtime) which resulted in her using words like absolutely, definitely snd completely since about age 2!!! These are words Lola uses a lot she used them in the right context too😂 she's started saying actually quite a lot at the moment too when she is explaining things to me 'Actually mummy I go to bed later than 7 actually' - she doesn't but was stalling! Her 20th and last tooth hasn't cut through yet tho she has the other 19 now!! Fingers crossed for you @coco and everyone else still in - hope everything ok with you @PastaSauceHoarder xx

Thanks @Scarletrose18 that’s good to know. Ds was still restless last night and came in with us later in the night but he has a red cheek today so his molars are really bothering him at moment. It was lovely, I had a relaxing bath, dh had got ds to sleep and I came back and got into a lovely fresh bed as i had changed all the bedding earlier; it was bliss. I hope you’re okay, how many dpo are you today? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, I’ll be so excited for you if you get your bfp this cycle!! ✨✨✨✨

@MummyBearBoo hope you ovulate soon, it sounds like your +opk is definitely on its way! Lots of amazing books there. Your dd sounds lovely and patient, I always think girls seem to be from what I’ve heard. Ds used to love his books when he was younger but now he just flicks past half the pages and then gets bored! I’m hoping he’ll come on to them again when he’s abit older and as he isn’t 2 yet...

Aww thank you, im thinking about it far too much, and I totally have my hopes up this cycle and have convinced myself im going to get a bfp so will be bringing wine with me on our Saturday daytrip if its a bfn 😂🤣 Did you have any cycles where u felt like this? @Scarletrose18 that’s great, you don’t have long to wait now until you can test. I have a good feeling for you ✨✨✨✨ I felt like that on my first cycle of trying and think it was just nerves because of conceiving so quickly last time. Last cycle I didn’t feel hopeful and was very obsessed with r all and very disappointed with my bfn and took it hard. This cycle I sort of feel abit better and more relaxed and have accepted it may not happen and if it doesn’t than that’s okay because there’s always next cycle. It’ll happen when it’s meant to happen and I can’t change it. The wine as a back up plan sounds like a fab plan but hopefully you won’t need it! I’ll be having pizza and afew drinks if i don’t conceive on the weekend of the 2nd! Me and dh will be watching the Super Bowl, It’s our little tradition. Repeats of one born that is terrible I hate when you’re looking forward to watching something and you realise wait a minute I’ve seen this!

Thanks, ds didn’t he was abit restless last night. Today he’s been for his first haircut, I am so proud of him and he looks like such a big boy now and I can actually see the back of his neck it’s so strange lol! He looks so smart and all grown up! They gave me a first hair cut certificate and a lock of his hair that I can put in his memory box. I couldn’t have let it get cut before now as I’ve been abit previous over my baby’s long gorgeous baby hair but I knew it was the right time.

Me too I love a nice fresh bed, it’s so comfortable.

Awww no 💇🏽‍♂️ was it so emotional? My ds got hair really late so he doesnt have mich to cut but I imagine I will be emotional when time comes. Its seeing them as growing up I suppose isnt it. How sweet that u got a cert and a lock of hair!

My DD's hair is golden brown and long and curly she's got my thick hair but mine is just dark (tho I have it highlighted) I love the golden colour of her hair!! We haven't taken her for a haircut yet she hates hair dryers so I haven't dared to take her yet!
@Scarletrose18 - I know- it's really hard to tell her off when she sounds so grown up! I can't help laughing when she says to me stuff that I say to her but she does in her 'cross' tone of voice!
OMG guys it's my last day of my being a parent to a two year old (hopefully not forever tho fingers crossed for another healthy baby!) she's 3 tomorrow!! Xx

@Scarletrose18 I know It’s taken me until ds is 23 months to feel like I could even contemplate it. Ds’s hair took ages to grow too and I found all of a sudden it sprouted loads the last couple of months. It had gotten to the point where his lovely hair was in his eyes and getting food in easily at meal times, getting in his way and was generally looking abit untidy. He also gets hot in his car seat and I was noticing he was getting a sweaty neck and back of his hair bless him. I think it’s easier with girls as you can just stick a hair clip in or bobble or whatever. He loves his new hair cut and has been really chirpy all afternoon since having it done. I wasn’t as emotional as I thought i would be until I was in the car and then I looked back and saw ds’s little face in his rear seat mirror and all of a sudden I could really see him if you know what I mean. i felt really proud of my little boy.
Ah it started when me and dh were a bit younger and on holiday visiting relatives in the states. We’ve watched it ever since- not all of it mind we usually fall asleep after the half time show!

@MummyBearBoo aww hope your dd has a fantastic birthday! You’ve no need to take her, her hair sounds gorgeous and like it behaves itself! When you eventually do I don’t know if you have any hairdressers that specialise in dc haircuts but I would recommend them. We have a great one nearby and took ds there and they’ve literally seen it all and know all the techniques to help put your little one at ease.

Thank you - We do have a children's hairdresser just up our road it's small so they only do 1 child at a time and it's only for children the seat is a car too!! She'd probably be ok but like you said we put it in pigtails or a ponytail (sometimes she's a daddy's girl so DH has had to learn how to do pigtails and ponytails). She has flyaway bits at the front and we have let her fringe grow out so we use hair clips too to keep it out of her face! It's long enough to behave but previously because of how curly it was it wasn't the easiest hair to deal with!

Awh @Cocobana, I bet your little one looks so grown up! Thats so sweet that he got a certificate too. It must he hard deciding to cut that lovely baby hair for the first ever time! I bet he looks so cute though.

My DD only recently grew most of her hair. 😂 Its very fine and soft, like little wispy beige cotton. I absolutely love rubbing my cheek on it when we cuddle, its so fluffy and wild. Its only just grown long enough for me to put two tiny bunches in either side on special occasions, but mostly I like it natural and crazy!

Your DD sounds like she has gorgeous hair, @Mfbroome! Thats so cute about her using those big long words. My baby sister used to love Charlie and Lola when she was about 3/4 and used to talk just like Lola too. Sadly shes 13 next week!

I'm okay thanks for asking, 6+3 weeks today and had my first wave of nausea this morning - forced myself to eat though and luckily its gone now! With my DD I didn't get proper morning sickness until around 7ish weeks so I'm fully expecting that next week.

I had it bad with dd but not a scrap with ds! Bless u, I'm so happy for u! Such an amazing thing to be expecting, !! Amazing how it's 6 weeks already! Have u had many other symptoms? U did you were sleepy right xxx
Yeah maybe your right?! Maybe it's not a bad thing to not feel anything. I think after 2 previous cycles of ttc and me symptom spotting and then getting bfn I'm just over trying to pick up any twinge etc.

Oh no @Mfbroome hope you feel better soon! You’re due af same day as me. How many dpo are you today? I’m just 2dp today. I know his neck is so cute!! Ds’s hair was so long it was obstructing his vision and it used to get all sweaty on his neck when he was in his car seat and get quite tatty despite 3 combs a day and quite abit sticky food in sides when eating. Despite loving his messy but adorable baby hair it was definitely overdue as I was becoming tempted to put bobble in 🤣 to keep it out his way! Dh vetoed that one lol. I’d hung on as long as I could. Ds seems so much happier with his new hair though and keeps stroking it and when I say do you like your new hair he says yep and smiles.

Oh cool! Same cycle then! I was pretty sure I would ovulate over weekend but it was a tad earlier this month being last Tuesday so I'm glad I started opks when I did! So this tww has been slightly longer this cycle, not by much but still. How u getting on? I'm 6dpo 1 day after @Scarletrose18

Thanks @Mfbroome you wouldn’t think he’d end up liking it judging by how he was in his hair appt mind you, the hair dresser said he wasn’t being naughty and that it’s just that they don’t understand at this age and that 18-24 months is a funny age. I don’t know if she was just being nice to make me feel better 🤣 I told the hairdresser I’d quite expected to be sent away and she said it’s rare they don’t get a cut but can happen!
I’m just 2dpo today on a 28 day cycle and expecting af same day as you. You’ll get to test before me with you being more days past ov. I was going to try and wait until the 2nd but I don’t know if I’ll be able to hang on that long... at the same time I’m fully prepared for BFN even though it’ll be so disappointing!

@PastaSauceHoarder pleased you’re feeling well and hope your nausea doesn’t come back. Was your morning sickness bad with dd? They say no two pregnancies the same so I hope your escape it this time around entirely!

I loved it when my DD had soft baby hair too @PastaSauceHoarder but my DD's hair grew pretty quick and She was born some already!!
