@Scarletrose18 it means good 🤣 lol in my northern slang! Where abouts are you from? I’ve noticed you use ‘wee’ and guessed Scotland or am I completely wrong!?
I have heard of, read and seen The Gruffalo but I haven’t heard of Gruffalo’s child. Is that a sequel? They have some great kids stuff don’t they!? I grew up with terrestrial channels 1-4 and can actually remember when they introduced channel 5 😂 lol I feel so old!!
Aww thank you I hope so, I just hope the tiredness hasn’t affected dh too and made the little swimmers slow I really think I’ll be out this month but never mind there’s always next cycle. This will be my third cycle of ttc and we have decided we will try cycle 4 also and if it doesn’t happen we’ll have a rest cycle 5 and try again from cycle 6.

It was on over Christmas, so I had recorded it but I think its a really feel good wee movie. We have a few Gruffalo walks over here (N.Ireland im from 🙂) that I think ds will love when he is a little older. Canny... lol I like it.
Lol I remember ch1 to 4 as well and I remember on a Sunday night we were alowed to stay up to watch Heartbeat 😂
Im sure the little guys will be up for the task. Thats a good plan to make, do you not think getting pg so easily first time has made things harder this time around because you are expecting it early on again? I think I may chat to dh about same thing if this and next cycle are unsuccessful.... Im only on cycle 2 of trying but because I had a long wait after pill for AF I feel like its been alot longer. I feel positive about things again but I think thats worse because then the bfn is more of a slap in the face if that makes sense.
I am waiting until next Sat to test and have made plans with dh and ds to go out for the day then if its a bfn I wont be thinking about it as much.
How does your dh feel about it all?

@Scarletrose18 haha I was totally wrong!! Oh I absolutely love the Irish accent, it’s such a lovely sound. Haha yeah canny means nice/good as in ‘isn’t @scarlet dead canny’ and it would mean ‘really nice.’
Oh god yes heartbeat I remember the theme tune! We watched that aswell and also Superman that used to be on every Saturday night.
Oh yes it has definitely made things harder this time around. If it had took longer the first time I would have been more prepared for it to take longer this time aswell I think. It does make sense but you know what I think the bfn is extremely tough no matter when you get it. I can be convinced I haven’t conceived and 100% expect a bfn yet it still immensely disappoints me each time.
I think it’s an excellent plan to go out on that day and not long to wait now. My af is due sat 2nd Feb and I’ll go out too that day so that I’m not fixated with my period arriving. I can dh is starting to get a little impatient too which is unlike him. He’s been making a lot of effort with DTD and working around ds by saying he’s occupied or asleep we should do it now etc. He’s been wanting to catch ovulation and asking questions which he never asks. He actually looked at my opk yesterday and today 🤣 I don’t normallf involve him very much but he’s been into it and seems to really want a bfp too.

How’s your dh doing with it all? I think it’s always harder for us because it’s our bodies going through it all.

Your dh sounds like mine this cycle..... my dh has been making alot of effort too! Which is great, I told him all about my opks and fertile week and even when I knew he was too tired he initiated dtd quite a few times"just to be sure" lol. Its been great actually having him on board alot more, ttc ds1 he didnt really talk about it... maybe its cos were older now and wiser... well maybe just older 😂🤣😂
I think hes eager to have dc2 be born before end of 2019... which would only give us 2 cycles after this one.

What are you up to today? I have been getting some cleaning done around house then going to get ready shortly as going to meet some family for dinner, theres a nice park beside where were eating so going to take ds a walk through it before to work up our appetites (and burn off his energy lol)

So 2nd feb you will be 13dpo, is that right? Thats a nice time to test as less chance of it being too early for a bfp. Ill be 11dpo next sat for testing.... will hold off longer if i can, we will see lol

I'm not feeling any symptoms but I'm trying to switch off tbh... I don't think I DTD enough lol oh well like I've said before it is what it is. Next cycle I'll be away so I'll have a month off anyway! I'll be looking forward to forgetting about it if I get BFN 😂 lots of apre ski will help me through lol.
So one more week (ish) before testing!

@Scarletrose18 aww that sound lovely enjoy your meal and walk through the park. We’re just chilling today. We got all wrapped up and went for a walk along the coast earlier and now just about to eat dinner. Ds had a little nap before which isn’t normal for him the moment and I’m hoping this will aid his nighttime sleep as not much can make it worse right now!
That’s lovely that your dh is onboard, as you say it feel better to have them involved. Before the end of 2019 would be ideal but I’m prepared for it not to be as well even though it’s going to be so difficult if it takes that long! Yes I will be 13 on the day af due if I count from tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be patient and not try test early!

Awk no its too early so I feel silly, no symptons really, just imagining things im sure. Im normally very easily affected by hormones and hormone changes and I have felt very hormonal, I have been quite snappy with dh but then I normally am the week before my period so that prob means nothing, but dh said tonight maybe u are preg because ur never normally this bad 😂🤣😂 Lol. Poor dh.

@coco Yes was lovely, a bit crazy as there were 3 kids and 6 adults but fun.
Oh lovely a nice winter walk and then chilling out sounds like such a nice way to spend the day 🙂 Is ds in bed yet? If so, how did it go with him having had a nap? Yes I find it the same, its strange that ds sleeps better at night if he naps through the day, if not I think he can get over tired for bedtime. How are you feeling now with the lack of sleep?

@scarlet See whilst I do like the Gruffalo my favourite by Julia Donaldson is Room in the Broom we have loads of her books they’re great for bedtime stories coz they’re a really good length and they rhyme which is good at getting DD to sleep she’s normally asleep well before the end of the first book! I like Stickman and Zog (which we’re going to see live in March!) too - I really hope ov is soon!!! Girls seem to be worse st sitting and watching a film she’ll watch ones like The Snowman snd Stickman coz they’re about the right length anything longer and she gets bored! Xx

@Scarletrose18 twice the number of adults per child at least, it’s definitely crazy with dc, I always find most of my meals these days or either rushed or eaten cold 🤣
We’ve finished ds’s bedtime routine and now Dh is trying to get ds to sleep so the random nap has meant alittle later I think. Ds hasn’t been himself with his teething poor little mite and apparently it can take months for the back molars to cut. I don’t think I’ll know what’s the new normal and what’s not regarding his sleep until these teeth cut. It’s the last 4 then he’ll have them all. Ds used to be the same as your ds but lately he’s been wide awake all afternoon and shown no tired signs so we’re convinced he has dropped the nap and maybe napped today because of his disrupted sleep last couple of nights. It’s hard to say for certain though until the teeth/development are finished.
Me and dh are both feeling the affects of it all and have agreed to not DTD tonight, we don’t think there’d be much point as we’re just both too exhausted and think our bodies need time to rest. I’ll do a opk tomorrow morning and if still positive we’ve said we’ll DTD tomorrow and make that the last one. We have DTD cd 9,10 & 11, 13, 14 and 15 and think if it doesn’t happen this cycle than it’s not meant to be. I’m all deeded out now 🤣

Hi all, sounds like you've had nice weekends! We've been crazy busy! Took DD to the aquarium yesterday where she could run around all she liked, then to Hey Duggee at the cinema this afternoon and then took her to lunch afterwards. I'm so tired now!! 😴

I hope your DS sleeps a lot better for you tonight @Cocobana, that sounds rough! The 2nd Feb really doesn't seem that far away really, I'm wishing you a quick and successful TWW. Do you have many pregnancy tests left?

Oh, I have never heard of that either, I must look up all these recommendations for ds. His attention span isnt very long for books so good to know ones that arent too long. And you are going to see them live!! Amazing, im sure the kids, and you, will love that.

@coco aww im sorry to hear that. Poor thing with the teeth. Well I hope the nap helps him get to sleep better but what works one day might not the next and also like u said this could all just be his wee teeth and once the worst is over his sleep could go back to the way it was.

Today I got my +opk and me and dh are bloody too tired to DTD lol typical on ovulation day of all days so I can’t see it happening! We will do tomorrow though if I’m still getting a positive. Lots of pregnancy tests still in stock lol I reckon I’ll need them for the next couple of cycles 🤣

@mummyb and @mfbroome those books all sound brilliant, I’ll be keeping those written down for ds. So jealous of your lovely holiday @mfbroome I bet you can’t wait, it’ll be amazing! Sorry to hear you don’t think you’re DTD enough. I have done it too much and me and dh have bloody tired ourselves out and today when it probably counts the most can’t be bothered! 🤣

I was 11DPO when I got a super faint positive. At first I tested 9DPO and 10DPO and got negatives so I was certain I was out, I guess thats the danger of testing early! No cramps now thanks for asking, just the odd little pull which I THINK is okay.

She was great! She was a bit confused at first haha, but she soon got into it. 😂 It was really cute, lots of dancing so she really enjoyed it. By the looks of it she was the youngest there but she so well-behaved, I was so proud!! ❤

Thanks @Scarletrose18 do you think it’ll affect chances much not DTD on ovulation day? The way me and dh looked at it was that if we pressure ourselves too when this tired it wouldn’t be much chance anyway! I’m going to have a nice bath and early night so hopefully batteries recharged for tomorrow. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for your bfp this cycle, ✨✨✨✨✨

Aww @pasta your dd sounds adorable and what an amazingly behaved little girl! I think ds would be abit of a monkey which is why we’re waiting until the summer to take him lol

@coco No, I dont think so, we didnt dtd ovulation day either as I was too tired but did it the day after. I think if u dtd the days before ov then thats defo enough as all the fertile cm keeps sperm alive longer 👍🏻👌🏼
