@Crossfitgirl ah I can imagine, just enjoy every second of it 😊 and also enjoy every second of your new bed!! I'm good thankyou, currently lazing around the house with a super sore throat, drank far too much this month but just relaxing and taking it slow. Just checked Flo and I'm CD26 so AF should be here Christmas/Boxing Day! More wine for me 🍷

I just wanted to send you some hugs and strength after your sad message in the last thread.

31 is a fine age to be starting a family... I am 34 and most of my friends have started families in their mid-thirties. I am glad we left it a little as we had more time to be carefree and have fun!

Maybe it's worth telling your family you are TTC so they can be a little more sensitive about the situation. Then smugly knock back some wine and get as merry as you like!

There was some research on women falling pregnant, which found that after six months of trying, 81 percent were pregnant. And after twelve months of trying, 92 percent were pregnant.

Stay strong - another cycle, another chance, FX 2019 is the year for us all!

Hi ladies, just wanted to say I'm still lurking and hoping every single day to see you all get a BFP on here. Sending lots of love and positivity.

Just to remind you it took me 11 cycles of proper timing to get my BFP so keep going girls! It's prob a huge coincidence but first month we used pre-seed it worked!

Just to say, it's not all lovely happy maternal roses over in the other thread. I have been super sick since 4+3!!! 7+3 today and no sign of letting up!! I feel it's my punishment for wanting this so badly and always being jealous of others who where announcing!!

@EltzBee Our dog is a nightmare around Xmas trees - he managed to get himself completely tangled up in a string of fairy lights once while investigating...!

@Bettythecat I saw your message too - please try and stay strong and positive - it will help you persevere through the emotional hell that is TTC! You’ll see a lot of ladies on this thread are on their 6th cycles if not more. It can be very, very hard at times especially this time of year too (my own sister has a 7 month old I’ll be spending all of Xmas day with) but please try and stay positive - it WILL happen for you one day, hopefully very soon! X

@SullyWifey Oh bless you!! My sister had HG (I won’t tell you how long for, I don’t want to make you feel worse!!) so I really empathise, she was a wreck. Just think - there’ll be that wee baba at the end of it all! Xx

So CD25 for me (I caved and checked Flo). Went to the loo, pants were super wet (odd given I've been bone dry the last few days). Wiped and had EWCM... thought I'd check my cervix and omg LOADS of EWCM!! 100% not from sex - what the hell is going on?!

Feeling the absolute rage and i have one sore and swollen boob! Probably just AF. OH had Xmas do and a colleague staying with us around O so suppose it's unlikely we will get BFP. Would be amazing if we did as it will be Xmas eve/day we test....if not AF will be coming for Xmas and she really was not invited!

Fingers crossed for everyone on here.

@GemmaJen @cupcakesandglitter DH doesn't like strong chocolate flavor, so no double chocolate for me. It's looking more like raspberries, chocolate shavings, and cream for me, and vanilla cake.

Flo's back up to her old tricks of changing my AF date! This morning, i inputted my symptoms for today and it changed AF to Christmas Day. Late this morning, I had some twinges in my stomach (god knows what they are), input that and it changed back to Christmas Eve! I'm just going with it for now and see what happens on Monday/Tuesday!!

Guys I'm sure I got a paint line on FRER this morning!!!!!!!!! Too faint to be seen on a camera though 👎🏼 I'm gonna do anotherNd update you later xxxx

@MrsEG oh gosh! Last year our littlest kept climbing the tree and attacking the baubles. Our oldest cat just ignored it totally

@MrsR16 ah how annoying! My Fertility Friend app still says I'm due on tomorrow. I'm waiting for her to start so DH can book his flights to US next month, as I can then better guesstimate my fertile week. I think after our disagreement last night he now is just gonna go for one week, after I explained 2 weeks with 3 weekends gone is going to be a right pain when my fertile week can vary by a week!
I might have lost my cool slightly with being irritated. He tells me he wants a baby loads and then doesn't get why buggering off for two weeks might be a problem. Grrr.

@KatBeCool I’ll be making a Yule log on Monday. I did red velvet last year so might go with double chocolate this year.

@EltzBee my cat chews the branches of my tree, but she doesn’t climb it or play with the decorations so I guess that’s something. We can’t have tree chocolates though cos she’s a committed thief so that would just end badly

@stormtrooperjulian ours had a catnip bag inside a scratching toy which they managed to get out overnight and went crazy! Little one currently asleep on me, and even though I'm desperate for a wee I daren't disturb her LOL.

CD27 and I’m exhausted, stomach feels off and have had a mega headache all day. Don’t think my body got the memo about it being a busy few days in the lead up to Xmas!

But bonus points for DP who is doing all the housework today, after tucking me in on the sofa :)

@MrsEG Well done keeping calm and thanks for the advice about first cycle. I'm not entirely sure when to expect AF, was it 4-6 weeks after for you? Fingers crossed for a BFP a bit quicker this time lol
@KatBeCool Thank you lovely. I was a bit worried people may think I was moving too fast and would try to talk me into waiting but I'm pleased you're all being so nice. I'm not really into Christmas but I enjoy gift giving and spending time with loved ones, oh and eating all the food! :D
@MrsLBear Thanks hun. My DH is amazing. We were actually about to eat breakfast at a restaurant with PIL when she ran her mouth, accusing me of saying hurtful things and making assumptions about me. I straight up told her she was wrong and she just skirted around it and didn't even attempt to apologise. Long story short, I told DH that I couldn't face breakfast and I would wait for him in the car while he ate with his family. Literally 2 minutes later he got in the car with me, having told his mum that she was wrong about me and that we leaving. He's definitely on my side and I love him for it.

I wanted to ask if you ladies all know your blood group? I never knew mine and only found out last week that I'm Rhesus D negative which can cause issues in pregnancy. I'm not looking forward to knowing I'll need more blood tests and anti D injections when I do get pregnant again :( Anyone in the same boat?

I've been sick as a dog for the last 2 weeks and think I'm going to ovulate over Christmas. I do not have the strength, will, or desire to DTD and my OPKs are negative thus far.

Cycle: 5 although DP argues that it's only 3 as that's when I got all the "accessories"

Hello @Babytrain89! My AF is due Xmas day too, there’s a few of us testing around the same time! Gotta be at least a few BFPs!

@MrsR16 Flo sounds like she’s going mad!! I use Clue and it never seems to change my AF due date, probably because the only symptom I ever get though is sore boobs! Feeling really nauseas today too but I’m 99% certain that’s from the questionable mushroom stew I had at lunch!!

@EltzBee I do the same - I actually sent DH a load of reading material to drill in how important the timings are for DTD and what a small window we get to stop him saying ‘can’t we just do it tomorrow instead’ - no, no we cannot!

@MrsH497 I’m constantly surrounded by friends on maternity leave! 4 of them at the moment!!

@Keyboard91 Poor you, really hope you’re feeling better soon (or better still, they’re pg symptoms!!) - if you’re CD27 are you due AF fairly soon?

No problem @Charm23. My AF came back 4 weeks to the day that MC bleeding began so I thought I was fine, but it turned out to be a big old mess and I still had a load of HCG left in my system that was really messing with my head leaving me feeling extremely down. But I’d say a week after that, I started feeling much better. Another test was completely negative so I knew it was finally all over and done with XX Hope you recover quickly hun!

@PaintingOwls LOL at ‘the accessories’ I have my ‘baby making kit’ as DH calls it including ‘baby juice’ (pre-seed)!! Really hope you feel better soon. I’ve been feeling really sick today and am hoping it just what I’ve eaten - I don’t want a bug this close to Xmas!

@MrsEG - I’m due 23rd/Sunday- so AF for Xmas if no luck. I’m not sure what’s going on, just don’t feel myself today... so it’s strange for me. I don’t think it’s pg symptoms as would be too early ... but a girl can dream! But at least AF would mean I could drink lots of Gin!!!

I’d love to test Xmas Day, get a BFP and pop the digital test in my DP stocking!

@MrsEG fingers crossed for us all! I've calmed down a bit now. I agree with the PP, I also seem to be surrounded by pregnant people and people who 'weren't expecting it at all!' it's only cycle 2 I know but just feel quite pressured!

Really hope this thread is full of Christmas BFPs!
