Hey guys, running out of room on the old thread so starting a new one! Let’s hope it’s lucky number 10!! Will try and tag everyone now :)

@KatBeCool Nope! We’re having home renovations done right after Christmas so it seemed pointless to do Xmas decorations while all the wallpaper is stripped and we’re living in a building site! Although sometimes I think it would’ve cheered the place up! Good luck with the Yule Log, what flavours are there apart from chocolate??

@MrsLBear Oh that sounds so familiar!! DH sleeps on the sofa when he’s had a skin-full, I can’t bear the snoring! I hope he gets you a good Xmas present now!

@MrsEG Yule Log can be any flavor as long as you cover it in chocolate to make it look like a log on the outside. It can easily be a white cake with white filling on the inside. I'm hungry now.

@KatBeCool You’re making me hungry!! I bloody love a Yule log. Post some pics when it’s done! X

@MrsEG after getting a negative yesterday I don't want to get disheartened again. Do I wait until maybe Sunday/Monday or do it tomorrow morning?!

@Crossfitgirl we haven't Dtd again as we are trying to be chilled now, I did Dtd on the day of the temp rise though so 🤞🏻 i have your luck, although fertility friend has marked ov as the day before that so 🤷🏼‍♀️. Also the day before ov there was literally no sperm leakage afterwards (yum!) so I feel like it's not looking likely, especially with the amount of wine I am ingesting at the moment 🍷
Sorry you're all feeling pants, even though I would love to feel pants for that reason - but it does not sound fun! X

@MrsH497 Oh sorry you got a BFN yesterday - yeah in that case maybe wait til tomorrow if AF hasn’t turned up. I’ll keep everything crossed for you!! X

@KatBeCool ooh Yule logs are fantastic!! I've bought the Asda extra special chocolate one this year - INSANE!! Maybe do Double chocolate?!

I've woken up with the worst cold and flu, I'm feeling so bloody sorry for myself it's unreal. Mentally strangles DH for passing it to me

@KatBeCool we've been putting together the Christmas menu today, Yule log is definitely making an appearance. Though classic chocolate on chocolate. I could eat my bodyweight in chocolate

I was just messaging DH about a dream I had last night (about to start Xmas eve brunch, but then DH ran down and told me my test was positive) and then this notification comes through as I'm telling him. Thanks Flo!!!

@MrsEG next time I'm gonna make sure the spare bed is operational and he can fill his boots making as many piggy noises as he likes in there. The bags under my eyes today are something else.

Yeah that's wise maybe wait until Sunday or Monday @MrsH497. Nothing more upsetting than seeing that lonely single line. I mean I don't follow my own advice AT ALL but thinking about hormone levels etc that would make most sense. Fx for you lovely!

Haha @cupcakesandglitter how funny. Tbf I gave DH my chesty cough/sneezing fits so I got my payback beforehand. Oh I'm gonna be in bed by 8 tonight no doubt about it.

Oh and it also turns out what I've got is nothing like the virus DH has had the last few days, so I can't even blame him 😭

@MrsLBear oh 😂 being in bed at 8pm is the dream!!!! I have guests round every day til Christmas, so I think 1. No chance of a lie in and 2. Very small chance of me and DH DTD any time soon 😂

@cupcakesandglitter well sickness seems to be calming down. Don't want to jinx myself. I'm 12 weeks on Xmas day so... I'm getting there. But there's none of this pregnancy glow!x

@cupcakesandglitter Oh you poor thing! I always get sick at Christmas. It’s like I finally get a break and stop working, so my body just gives up!

@MrsLBear Oh bless you! If that was my DH he’d be under strict instruction to be making dinner for me when I got home tonight! I hope he at least has the hangover from hell for his sins!

@MrsEG so annoying, I'm not a sicky person so when I do get ill it's horrendous. Just as the time off kicks in too!! I agree with you though, @MrsLBear make him make it up to you! X

@cupcakesandglitter @MrsEG oh for sure. I will be putting in my orders for tonight. Feet up, being waited on. Tbf I'm out tomorrow night and he's dropping me there and picking me up so... payback is a bitch. Might even get him to drive to mcds on our way home just cos I can.

@cupcakesandglitter always the way getting ill around Christmas. I'm so glad I had it last week cos I couldn't deal with work and being unwell. Having said that I bet I get something else xmas eve cos EVERYONE I come into contact with is infected!!

@cupcakesandglitter not so lucky now, I was so smug thinking I'd escaped but I've felt constantly hungover since Tuesday. Not been actually sick but just feeling nauseous and... I can't describe it any other way - that queasy feeling when you're hungover! I'm only 6 weeks though so probably got a while to get through it yet! So glad yours is calming down @delilah7.

Morning ladies. Forgot to do my 'quick recap' yday so here it is:

Age: 29 (30 next month)
Cycle: 6
Day: CD28 - DPO11 (AF due tomorrow in FF)

Temp is mirroring virtually identically to previous cycle 'normal' so very confident AF is going to turn up imminently, probably tomorrow. I was looking at last months which had spike half way through Luteal Phase and then suddenly came on heavy 3 days early, and wondered if maybe last month we did catch the egg and something went wrong. Who knows eh!

Bit gutted as we DTD at all the right times, but hey ho, on to the next cycle (and a G&T...) Determined not to get upset this month, it is what it is. Fingers crossed for next month!!

Really congested today so worried I'm coming down with a cold! Took an antihistamine which I thought was helping but back to feeling all blocked nose again, noooo! Not for Christmas AGAIN! lol.

@crossfitgirl oh now I hope your sickness/nausea doesn't last too long!

@cupcakesandglitter remember though most people are already like 4 weeks at testing as they count it from the day of your last period! I'll be 7 weeks on Sunday and it's going sooooo slowly.
The house is also moving slowly! Although I've had the week off I've basically felt like doing fuck all, not even any washing let alone sorting! I can start feeling okish by early afternoon but eurgh i just want to sit and do nothing! On the plus side our new bed and mattress have arrived so we'll be moving to the master bedroom soon :-) how are you doing?

@MrsEG we don't have our tree up yet either, that's this weekend's job. We got a new one last year that is pre lit so just have to put the baubles etc on it!

Our youngest cat thinks it is the best toy EVER so having it up any earlier when were at work is just pointless
