@FlapJackered looong day lol. I can't even sleep. It was bfn yesterday, didn't dare to test today. My boobs are still sore with no sign of improvement which is very unusual, even DH commented on that. He's also counting DPO, which isn't helping.

@Crossfitgirl it's possible I was closer to 10dpo. I made the mistake of googling high early hpt... I should now be banned from Google! Enough worrying nfo to give you a stomach ulcer 😂

@KatBeCool sounding good, fx for you. Lovely that your DH is involved. I try to explain things to mine and I can physically see him glaze over.

I'm feeling a lot better this morning, the talking to worked, still having a few worry moments, but allowing myself to be happy is helping 😊 Went around our friends yesterday to meet up with everyone, think I might have laughed too much, lol. Cards against humanity is brutal! Though I'm not enjoying my new role as designated driver, really fancied a snooze on the way home 💤😴

Thanks @MrsR16 hopefully this is the one for both of us! I did think about getting my implant out sooner so my cycles could settle but I didn’t want to be dealing with periods etc on my honeymoon, and considering how bad I felt for a few weeks after removal with my hormones crashing I’m so glad I wasn’t going through that on my honeymoon, would have totally ruined it. I knew it might take longer after my implant, I just hoped I’d be one of the lucky ones!

@GemmaJen try not to worry too much! I would have thought that such a strong line was a good thing?

I’m 4dpo now, in that annoying slow part of the tww where it’s impossible to actually feel anything one way or the other. My post Christmas health kick begins tomorrow!

Thanks @FlapJackered and @GemmaJen temp went back up today, boobs are even more sore, I feel some "fluttering" in my lower abdomen sometimes. I did a cheapie, bfn. I'm not touching frer at least for another two days. Those might be good symptoms but they aren't reflected on any hpt.

@stormtrooperjulian you can do it! What's involved in your health kick?

Today I'm (possibly) 5dpo and my cramps and backache are so strong I'm actually nauseas. Won't lie to you ladies, im missing the easy days of the pill. No cramps, no pains etc. Aaaaah the good old days haha!

If I have to go through a week of these pains every month whilst ttc only for AF to arrive I will writing a very strongly worded letter to my lady bits and expressing serious dissatisfaction.

@stormtrooperjulian that sounds like you did the right thing waiting to get your implant out! But it's frustrating when you want a baby about three months ago haha I frequently have chats with my body - "why are you failing at making a baby?!?"

@Jessikka OMG that made me die! "Strongly worded letter" I love it! I miss the pill for the simple fact that I knew when AF was going to hit every month - now it's a bit hit and miss...

@MrsR16 I'm on cycle 1 after the pill so lord knows when AF will turn up!

I will be adding a paragraph to my letter that says the free TTC boob job can stay. I'm liking this new hourglass instead of pear shape I have going on this week. Haha!

@KatBeCool mostly dietary changes, I exercise regularly anyway but my diet recently has been terrible. Just had the biggest piece of Christmas cake ever, had to finish it before the healthy diet starts tomorrow 😂

@MrsAW2018 @Random2468 yay cycle buddies! When are you due AF? I’m due on the 14th, will probably test next weekend.

I'm due on 19th not feeling positive this month we didn't BD as often during fertile window shifts just got in the way. Days off now and exhausted 😴

@stormtrooperjulian I'm due 17th ish (I think - cycles still messed up after MMC and ERPC) so wondering if I will just hold out till then! We DTD 4,3 and 1 day before ovulation which I think is pretty good but obviously wishing it was all 6 days of the fertile window now! But trying to be more positive this new year and think what will be will be.... it's so hard though 😣 Also last time I got pregnant with my MC I had strong nausea at 8 dpo which in hindsight I think was implantation day and I got a bfn on that day so don't want to test too soon..

Reading that back maybe it isn't that great how much we DTD but it's so hard to do it daily in that time with all the commitments of life! How often do people aim to do it during their fertile window?

I've been fairly quiet on here since joining (trying to soak up the last of Christmas holidays/distract myself from the Sunday night dread by cleaning everything in sight before back to work tomorrow!).

It seems like a few here are in their TWW now - good luck to you all. I hope you manage to keep busy and keep positive.

Your three days before ovulation sounds good to me, @Random2468 Remember that it could very well have been on of those times that is the lucky one! I am just about to head into my first fertile week of TTC which coincides with returning to work so although I am hoping we can fit in as much as possible, I am going to try (ha!) to be fairly relaxed about it.

I've been lurking at the sidelines for a week or so. DH and I are 'officially trying' as of this cycle. It's so good to get an insight into all your journeys so far and great to know that there is support out there for when I inevitably turn into a POAS lunatic. FX for all you wonder women this year. @stormtrooperjulian @random2468 I'm due either 14/15th depending on which app I look at. Will try and hold off testing until next weekend but I'm a POAS addict so might end up doing it from 8dpo. Only got one FRER to use this month at the moment and wondering whether I should go ahead and order some more! We did SMEP this month for the second time running so really hoping it's worked this time! Fingers crossed for us all! Xx

Hi everyone. I hope you've all had a good weekend.

My dh has just left after being home for the weekend and it was a bit of a disaster on the baby making front! We dtd on Friday and the plan was to do it again today in the hope that there'd be some swimmers still around when I ovulate which my Clue app was predicting on Thurs (so bit of a long shot). But then we both got super ill so dtd was out today and then to top it off I got a positive opk this evening which seems really early (cd10)! I'm so gutted that that's it for this cycle and now we have no choice but to wait for the next one!

@Random2468 your dtd days sound good. @Crossfitgirl conceived doing it just once the day the temp went up. Personally, I don't believe every day is necessary other than maybe right around ovulation and the day after.

@TTC34 welcome! Hope you find some solace here - I certainly have since I joined! POAS is inevitable and perfectly acceptable here 😊

@AnnaMC214 oh hun, being ill is not much fun! Stranger things have been known to happen - you could have ov'd early!
