@cupcakesandglitter you were right! I took my temp this morning and literally went oh my god and thought of you went to the loo and did a cheapo test and could see a faint line so did the Boots one which was even clearer.

So shocked and no idea what to do now apart from get another test for tomorrow morning and keep everything crossed he sticks!

@eltzbee So pleased for you... wishing you a healthy and happy 9-months.

@mrslbear we move house on the 27th, so have so much to do! And OH is still sleeping. Might bring the Hoover in to the bedroom to wake him up. Grrrrr!!

I am 6dpo too. Still trying to hold out until NYE to test, then at least can go get very very drunk if I get a BFN. You still planning on testing NYE?

Sorry I've been quiet lately. This cycle has been a little all over the place. Being off work has been a big distraction for me and helped me not obsess. Kinda liking this laid back approach. It's even helped me realise I want to get a new job because I'm extremely fed up there which doesn't help, probably not the best time but when is and never know what might happen. OH is ok too, just ligament damage but he's walking fine now. Currently CD14 and 8DPO not had anymore positive OPKs x

What's been happening...anyone feeling like this is there time, Christmas's BFP?? Anyone hopefully for a new year BFP too??

@DayDreamer1707 glad to hear you and DH are both doing better, maybe apply for a new job within the same company so you still get mat pay etc? I had a BFN on a FRER this morning, I can tell I'm out already so I'm having a boozy brunch tomorrow instead 😁 x

@EltzBee I know I shouldn’t encourage multiple test taking, but you could definitely do your FRER today! I know loads of people who did there’s in the work loos or at home after work...! I’m so excited for you. What a great Christmas present!

@DayDreamer1707 Hello lovely! I agree, if you wanna change jobs then just do it. I quit my last job with nowhere else to go, but I was just so stressed and it had to be done. I work for an incredible company now with a real focus on flexible working / work-life balance. Scariest but best thing I ever did!

I can’t decide whether I feel like AF is coming. Some very mild cramps coming on and off today. Not due til Xmas day so will just see what happens I guess!

@DayDreamer1707 let me join you in the confused body club. CD14 for me, normally I'd get at least a positive OPK by now if not ovulate. So I poas yesterday, it looked like I might be close to ovulating, I poas this morning, only 7 hours after the last one, and it's very faint. There's no way I missed the surge as it usually lasts for at least a full day for me. So now I'm unsure what's happening. Temp is low, Ewcm was there. Last thing I need is not to ovulate, or ovulate late and have a long irregular cycle.

@MrsEG I've picked up a FRER and a Clear Blue Digital, going to do the FRER tomorrow morning. I heard someone say the CB digital are less sensitive so might wait a few days for that?

@KatBeCool I didn't get a positive OPK til cd17 this month and my temp went up next day, so hopefully Ov isn't far off for you xx

@EltzBee I did, so that's why I'm not sure what this cycle is about. Make sure you take it easy and look after yourself 😘

@cupcakesandglitter its only a small company and they don't have anything in place really for mat leave anyway. I'm so fed up and bored that it makes me dwell on the past and every symptom. How many DPO are you? I'm going out tonight for a meal and a good drink!!

@MrsEG I could be TTC for months yet and I just hate being bored and want work to be a distraction, not somewhere I clock watch! Good luck and hopefully Christmas Day is extra special for you.

@KatBeCool It's so frustrating isn't it, that's why I've just forgot about this cycle. Still never know could of happened for us but better to try and focus on other things. You could still ovulate yet and get a BFP in the new year x

@DayDreamer1707 I'd definitely leave then and find a job that makes you happy 😊 I have no idea when I ov'd! I've not been testing this month - had EWCM on CD17 so if I take that as ov day I guess I'm now 10dpo, so would be showing 😊 enjoy your drink! I'm going to finish my bottle of wine tonight and not feel guilty at all!

Don't know whether to still test or not on Christmas Day as I think it's just a waste of a FRER really x

@cupcakesandglitter well he stressed about performing but apart from that he is pretty chilled. Maybe that's it. He's too chilled!
You could of o'd a couple of days after that though so could still be in for a chance this cycle!! Got my fx for you. In the mean time wine is allowed!!

@KittieKath wow moving house this close to Xmas is very brave!!! You moving far? Haha I started making breakfast really loud the other day cos DH was sleeping after keeping me up...whoops. Yeah I am! Well if I make it till then. This tww is a killer!! Feels like these past 6 days have DRAGGED! How you been feeling?

@EltzBee Yep - FRER picks up HCG levels at 6; CB digital is 25. But 25 is the level that is classed as a viable pregnancy so when you get a BFP on one of those you are 100% preggers!! Good luck! Bet you won’t sleep tonight with the excitement!

I'm still in limbo - spotted this morning and then nothing since! I have had no symptoms of normal AF - normally, I'd be cramping like anything! I wish I knew what was going on.

@MrsEG ah cool! I think the Boots one was 25 too so hopefully all good! I don't feel any different so it's not sunk in yet!

@EltzBee I don’t think you’ll have any issues tomorrow with those tests judging by the lines you got today!! So exciting!

So, I’m 12DPO today and was passing Boots with DH so popped in for a FRER for Xmas day (although I kinda feel AF coming, but figured I’d get one before the shops close!) - he was absolutely horrified by the price! He was like ‘I thought they’d be like a quid each!’ - if only he knew just how many I’ve been through; and the OPKs, and the Pregnacare...

@MrsEG they're bloody extortionate!! I've got DH taking the wellman conception tablets so we buy the his/her pregnacare set from boots - he had a shock when he saw them 😂 it's an expensive business honestly x

You can definitely take a clear blue in the morning.
So I had a very stark BFN.
Next day at 5pm was my first faint BFP.
The next morning at 6am my CB digital showed 1-2 weeks.
With that line you don't need to wait trust me!

@Crossfitgirl thanks hun! Haha to be honest I've just been so thirsty today and as a result going for a wee so often I imagine my wee would be too diluted lol!

Fingers crossed all should be good tomorrow. Going to be so hard keeping it secret, got my parents over for Xmas day.

@MrsEG the prices are ridiculous, I spent £20 on the two twin packs today for FRER and CB Digital, then £13 on pregnacare vitamin as my multivitamin has VitaminA in which apparently you're meant to avoid.

Still befuddled how it works out due date and why at finding out I'm preg it's 4 weeks already. So confusing!

@EltzBee So expensive! It’s crazy! Yeah, they date your pregnancy from the first day of your last period. I have no idea why! But it’s nice to know the 12 week scan will come along quicker than expected!
