Has anyone had lower back ache or tailbone pain in there early pregnancy days for previous pregnancies?

thosethreewords · 23/12/2018 22:38

@MrsLBear @Babytrain89 my DH is the same. He's excited but then vaguely suspicious sometimes when I want to BD... I'm always like errr you have a higher sex drive than me so why are you complaining!!

@EltzBee congratulations!! Christmas babe! Will you be able to cover up the no alcohol situation easily?

@KittieKath good luck for the move! You are brave doing that around Christmas! Or maybe I just love dragging out the Christmas period!

@DayDreamer1707 I'm a firm believer in enjoying your job. I had a big change of job a few years ago and it was scary but ultimately one of the best things I've done.
I've also got a good feeling about this cycle but I'm probably just being a naive newbie!

My OPKs are now negative so hopefully will get a BBT rise in the next few days. Although not had EWCM yet, still watery. Sorry TMI!!

MrsH497 · 23/12/2018 22:42

Got the mother of all headaches. Could just be work related of course. Still not finished my shift 😩

Crossfitgirl · 23/12/2018 22:48

@blueflower22 the ladies on here are all ttc their first, so you're not likely to get much response on here - maybe try a pregnancy thread? I'm just lingering as this was my ttc thread so I'm an odd one out! I've had no back pain though and nobody on the pregnancy thread I'm on seems to have reported any and we're all fairly early xx

Blueflower22 · 23/12/2018 22:52

@Crossfitgirl omg I completely forgot 😂

DuchessofPemberley · 23/12/2018 23:38

Congratulations @Eltzbee! That’s so exciting.

Feeling a bit more optimistic today. My temp reading confirmed that I ovulated on Thursday, and we dtd on Tuesday so maybe I’m not totally out this cycle?

Hope you’re all preparing for a lovely Christmas 😀

KittieKath · 24/12/2018 00:24

Oh god, all the rich Christmas food is giving me so much gas... and I can’t help but be like “oh my, total pregnancy sign!” parp

errrr.. no! You just ate a beef wellington, a ton of chestnuts and half a Stilton with a prune conserve. Dream on!

Ha ha ha!

GemmaJen · 24/12/2018 06:30

Happy Christmas Eve! Xmas Grin

All the Christmas music, food and movies are paying off, I'm feeling irritatingly christmassy!

Been so busy lately finishing projects at home and tending to sick pets that I haven't been able to keep up with you guys, how's everyone doing? Must be due some HPTs round about now? I'm keeping all fingers crossed for Christmas positives for you.

I've just had a positive cheapie opk but then a negative on the clear blue, I only started the clearblues today so probably just user error? Anyone used both and had something I similar? Wasn't expecting to find peak until Wednesday so held off using them. But the cheapie opk has jumped from negative to a strong line.

We've got a house full of guests with more arriving today. Such bad timing, think my cycle is getting a kick out of choosing the most inappropriate time to O. I guess I'll find out over breakfast whether sound travels in this house Xmas Blush . FX for no awkward silences.

FlapJackered · 24/12/2018 07:17

wahhh! @EltzBee CONGRATULATIONS!! That is such exciting news!!! A Christmas bfp! I am so happy for you, you must be over the moon. How did you tell your DH?
🎉🥂🎉

Sorry I have been absent for a while, I have been manically rushing around picking up family members for Christmas, making cakes and drinking and eating far too much! I feel so bloated that I now know what I will looked like 8 months pregnant 😂👌🏻

I hope everyone is doing ok? I will try and catch up fully later. Are there still lots of you testing tomorrow?
I am due on 31st so i think I will test that morning so I can enjoy New Year's Eve without guilt! I very much doubt an embryo would decide to implant in my boozy, mince-pie filled body though 😂

thosethreewords · 24/12/2018 08:01

@KittieKath you are making me hungry!! 😂

Does anyone know when your temp rises? Is it usually the day after ovulation? I've had positive OPKs from Friday evening til yesterday lunchtime and then it was negative in the evening. But my temp is definitely the same today as it has been.. does that sound right?

DuchessofPemberley · 24/12/2018 08:06

@KittieKath 😂

starkid · 24/12/2018 08:14

@FlapJackered - my app says my af is due new years eve too, but that would only be 9 days after my last positive OPK and cd25, so am thinking it's more like 2nd/3rd Jan as not much point doing one so early I don't think? Shame as be good to know by New year's Eve as you said!

@EltzBee - good luck testing again today :)

starkid · 24/12/2018 08:16

@GemmaJen - I've been using clearblue this month and mine was negative the first day, think someone said it always is while it measures your different levels to compare for the next day

Shellybellytots · 24/12/2018 08:35

So I had beigy CM so I knew AF was here I accepted it's a no this month went shopping bought tampons had a little strop / Salk about it. But then my damn AF hasn't come day 2 now! So then damn hope crept in and I thought maybe against my better judgement I am 'up the fluff'! So caffeine free, alcohol free month would be worth it. (And yes I have had 3x Christmas parties sober!) So out comes the overpriced FR test this morn. BFN!! I wish bloody AF would come as I want my new cycle to begin!!!

thosethreewords · 24/12/2018 08:51

@Shellybellytots that sound so frustrating, love! FX something happens soon, the waiting (esp over Christmas!) must be torture. Mother Nature is messing about!

EltzBee · 24/12/2018 09:16

Today's test attached, First Response one (managed to pick up rapid response but not early response, buy it's BFP so it doesn't matter!)

@thosethreewords I'm not a big drinker anyway so shouldn't be an issue. If we go anywhere I'll drive us home so sorted there.

@FlapJackered I did the test first thing yday and could see a faint line appearing so called DH out of bed and said honey, I need to borrow your eyes as I think we may be pregnant. He was so excited too.

Still can't believe it and now to keep fingers crossed and keep it quiet!

MrsAW2018 · 24/12/2018 09:19

@EltzBee congratulations! What a lovely Christmas present!

MrsEG · 24/12/2018 09:22

@KittieKath Good luck with your house move! Hope it all goes really smoothly!

@MrsH497 Oh bless you - hope it’s gone this morning and you’re feeling better!

@DuchessofPemberley Glad to hear you’re feeling optimisitic! You’re not out at all until the... red lady sings?! FX for you!

@GemmaJen You have to start using the CB OPKs at a certain time depending on your cycle length - for me it’s 8 days after my period. Good luck with having so many visitors! We have no one this year - nothing to do tomorrow other than turn up at my folks house! :)

@FlapJackered Ha!! Perhaps it’ll be even more drawn to you now - what embryo wouldn’t want some mince pies?! Good luck for NYE!

@Shellybellytots Oh How rubbish. Hope she hurrys up for you so she’s out of the way in time for Christmas and you can get on to your next cycle!

Happy Christmas Eve ladies! Xmas Smile

MrsEG · 24/12/2018 09:24

@EltzBee YAY!! Congratulations! Have you done your CB digital too? Best Christmas present ever!! No denying that BFP!

OP posts:
EltzBee · 24/12/2018 09:29

@MrsEG I was going to do the Digital one tomorrow or later this week :) they're a lot less sensitive from what I've read (and bloody expensive) so want to give it the best chance lol.

@Shellybellytots I did mine yesterday first on a Poundland test strip (3 strips for a quid) and could see the faint line on that, so got out the Boots own-brand one which was a big fat positive clear as day. I've done a FR branded one earlier and couldn't believe the price :o

MrsEG · 24/12/2018 09:38

@EltzBee Ha!! So true :) The cost of them is insane. I’m sure you’re mostly paying for the stick - the strip can’t cost more than a quid surely!!! Congrats again lovely x

Shellybellytots · 24/12/2018 09:53

@Eltzbee congratulations magical Christmas for you! At least you don't have to buy any more tests!! Wow how amazing still blows my mind that ... You know ... Things are growing in there !!!

@MrsEG @thosethreewords ha thanks I have just had a really hot lavender salt bath. It has decompressed the sore BBs and have started cramping now and pink has now appeared. Never thought I would be happy to see my AF!

Bath = new me. I am going to try no tests at all this cycle ...baaaaa who am I kidding I will probably give in. But I am going to try my best to focus on being fit and healthy and try push ttc to the back. Now I need to motivate myself to get off my fat behind.... Fishing rod attached to my back with a chocolate dangling in front seems like the only way forward right now ...

EltzBee · 24/12/2018 09:58

@Shellybellytots I know it's weird to think there's a little 'thing' inside me multiplying and growing already. Apparently it's the size of a poppyseed at the moment. Keeping fingers crossed it's going to be a healthy 9 months and he's a sticky bean!
I really want to tell my Mum but trying to resist! lol

Shellybellytots · 24/12/2018 10:20

@EltzBee That is the dilemma to tell or not to tell. I think I would tell my mom (she is a nurse) so nice to phone if you are not sure on anything and talk about symptoms etc.

EltzBee · 24/12/2018 10:33

@Shellybellytots always handy to have a nurse in the family! My mum knows we've been TTC but think I might try and wait til 12 weeks still...
