@MrsLBear Rant away! I’m a bit like that. My sister knows we are trying but I play it very cool around her, like it’s no big deal. If only she knew about this thread, the OPKs, etc! I don’t know why I don’t just say ‘yes we’re trying and it’s all I ever bloody think about!’

It's not over until the fat lady sings. Mine starting humming! So I am going to get myself to the gym - get endorphins going for the next 18 days 'til ovulation. I'm going to buy preseed lube for next cycle (my friend swears by it for her conception). I am not going to do BBT as I am nutty enough and it just makes me over analyse. I will do clear blue opk again near time of ovulation. I am using the app 'flo' which I like.

@Shellybellytots I used preseed this month! Yet to see if it worked, don't think we caught it but trying to stay positive!! Used it as lube too (tmi) as we used to use the normal stuff eg ky but when I read it can basically kill sperm I had a mini heart attack and threw it in the bin.
Did you use clear blue this month?

I've tested...pics attached. DH and I can see a faint line on both. Thoughts?

Will go buy another test for tomorrow...now on CD30 13DPO.

AF was due 3 days ago! Still BFN I have no idea what's going on.

@MrsLBear yes I use CB opk and I got a smiley face so will keep with it. I was really run down by end of term and got really sick with temp almost 39 on Wednesday. I also get really stressed at work so I might try do something to relax - I didn't go to the gym at all this last month as was exhausted so hopefully Jan will be rejuvenated! 31st Bday next week and we have a romantic trip planned unfortunately doesn't fall on ovulation !

@EltzBee I feel like I can see one on the first one but not the second! Can you get out to grab a FRER?? How exciting!

Get a FRER cos I've read ICs take a few days post af due date to show a good line. Eeeeeeeeek!!!!

@Shellybellytots We use PreSeed! Yet to find out if it has helped but managed to get some from Amazon. DH calls it the baby juice!

@APositiveMind How frustrating!! Oh FX you get one or the other in the next day or so to put you out of your misery!

@MrsLBear @EltzBee It’s so exciting!!! I KNEW we’d get some Xmas BFPs, I could feel it in my bones!! Go get that FRER!!!

@Shellybellytots how do you normally time DTD around the static smiley? As in do you do it the day you get it and then consecutive etc. I've read so many contradicting things on here and online. I suppose it's different for everyone.
Ah bless you. Can get a bit manic near the end of term (I've got friends that are teachers and they are always chomping at the bits to finish).
Oh how lovely. Where you off to? At least you can just enjoy DTD as appears to making it a baby dance and let your hair down a bit. It's nice to have time away from it all and be normal again.

@shellybellytots - I haven't been gym properly in a couple of months and really need to get back into it. OH and i usually go together so if he says no, I also don't go....which is ridiculous and blatantly me looking for every excuse. Going to focus on losing a few pounds and getting a bit healthier alongside TTC once the Xmas season is over! I feel like crap so think AF is humming a bit over here as well!!

@MrsLBear - rant away! OH can be frustrating but i genuinely don't think they are wired to 'get it' my OH really wants a baby, but think all the science behind it is blowing his mind given how much I used to stress about missing one pill. The fact it didn't happen immediately has come as a slight surprise to him! He is also quite literal so is like 'oh ok, keep trying then'. Which I find infuriating...but I can't argue his logic either!! Gah!

@MrsLBear For me with CB, I DTD in the days leading up when it starts to flash, and then always on the day of static smiley. Sperm live 3-5 days up there, so that usually covers it! I know some people who also DTD the day after too for good luck :)

@shellybellytots I’ve been easing myself back in to the gym this week - I stupidly used to think I should rest in the 2WW but all advice contradicts this and I need those damn endorphins!!

What’s everyone up to today? We are out for DH birthday; we have lunch and dinner reservations, an escape room booked and we’re staying over in a lovely hotel. It’s exactly what I need at the mo!! Hope everyone has a great day (especially you @EltzBee - FRER, FRER, FRER!!)

@MrsLBear I didn't look at the app properly and we were actively ttc 5 days before smiley face and then I told OH I got it wrong have to keep at it for 2 more days!! Hahaha he said his man was too sore!! But we carried on inspite!! We are going to this luxury farm barn which will be nice.

@babytrain89 I only recently switch from commercial private sector to teaching I put gone up 2 dress sizes! Always comfort eating! Eyes on the prize now got to get in shape!

@Babytrain89 I know exactly what you mean. DH is like oh it'll happen. We only just started - erm no hun it's been 6 months but ok. Drives me insane. But now his completely silence around the topic is even worse. My hormones aren't helping either. Post O I always get a bit more irritated (fabulous) so that is NOT helping right now. I'm only 6 DPO as well 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
My friend was the same 😂 if she missed one pill or was sick she would ban sex without a condom for a week and now she's on cycle 2 and her husband is like what the hell you made me think it will happen straight away.

Now it has dried the Boots one is much clearer. Will be braving the Xmas crowds to get a FRER to do tomorrow morning!! Eeeek!

Fingers crossed! So excited. Was genuinely not expecting it this month. Will get a digital one to do in a few days of all seems ok still....so nervous now!
