Hey @TinselBee, @Rose68, @BettySwoll0cks

Here is the thread I promised us.

Somewhere for us to help eachother, pick one another up, cry, scream, laugh..

Some of us may be looking to try again, some may be putting things on hold. Whatever our plans, lets get through this together.

(I don't know whether conception was the right choice of topic, I can always have this moved to a more suitable topic if anyone would like me to)

I will look through our threads again and see if I can @mention anyone else who might like to join us

@ratherbeshowjumping I took 75mg of aspirin per day (as well as progesterone) when I got my BFP (apparently you shouldn't take it before?) but it didn't work for me Sad

Sorry. Me again Blush

I forgot to ask. I have had shooting pains in my left boob for the second day in a row now.
I had this on and off when pregnant and no way am preg now as it's faaaar too early. Does this happen when ovulation is approaching? I can't say I've noticed it apart from when boobs are swelling a bit in pregnancy.

@Tinsel it’s good your sister knows, I am sure she will understand.

@Frazzle I can recommend a load of supplements if you are interested? I have become something of an expert in the last few months. I would look at ubiquinol rather than Co enzyme Q10. It’s the same thing but in a different form and is best for those of us who are slightly older. I think over 40’s should be taking 300mg a day, although I am only taking 200. It’s very expensive, but meant to be worth it.

@Betty, so sorry to hear you are still in limbo. You do need another scan to confirm what’s going on, is there any chance you can get it brought forward?

Frazzlerock · 11/12/2018 13:40

Yes please @Rose68! I'm currently back on Pregnacare conception supplements. I also take Zita West's Inositol and folate which I carried on taking when pregnant.
I was taking the natural fertility supplements by Wild Nutrition last cycle, but was becoming really expensive so I had to stop and went onto Pregnacare's instead.

TinselBee · 11/12/2018 19:21

Typical ey Frazzle doesn't seem fair that you can have something pregnancy can cause but not have the baby! Can't help with the boob pain advice, I'm always getting odd pains, mainly in right one (had it checked many times and just one of those odd things, I also lactate from right boob here and there when not pregnant too!)

Nice to hear from you Betty but so sorry you're still in limbo!

Anyone get EWCM a few days after the ERPC? Loads of it today but don't usually get it this early in my cycle.

I've also started temping again this cycle, don't want to be caught out with a surprise AF visit or POAS for weeks on end as no clue when or if I ovulated yet etc.

Certainly back on the ConceivePlus lube and Conception Pills, 1st time we used both was when we fell pregnant (after 12 months of TTC!)

Rachyrach83 · 12/12/2018 10:11

Hi ladies
Not sure if anyone has any experience of HCG levels??
Mine was 33,000 at time of ERPC
10 days later it was 194.... is this drop normal??

I thought it would be lower but GP seemed surprised it had dropped so quickly??
How long from 194 to 0??

DTD last night for 1st time, wanting to TTC ASAP but guessing ovulation isn’t on the way if hcg still well over 100??

Frazzlerock · 12/12/2018 10:22

Morning,

@TinselBee no boob daggers today... wow, you lactate!? I don't even do that when I've had babies - I'd actually already been in touch with a breast feeding consultant when was preg as I was so desperate to produce milk this time.... Wanna swap boobs? Grin

Re EWCM - I don't think I really get this. I have never actually seen it. Though I did try to track CM when TTC DS2 and I don't recall ever having EWCM. Mostly just white stuff throughout my cycle if anything.

How is everyone doing this morning?
It has all gone a bit quiet - I thought I may have broken the thread with my uber posts Grin

As I was walking to the office this morning from London Bridge I had a bit of a cry, but I made it look like the cold was getting in my eyes. I find it quite hard seeing everything and everyone getting on with their usual day to day stuff while I have this 'rucksack' on.
My first day back at work was better than I thought, but still find it very strange.
When I turned my laptop on yesterday morning and opened up all the tabs in my browser, like I always do, I had loads of baby products open that I was looking at. It was such a surreal but sad feeling. To think I was trying to be so positive on that last day, knowing I had 'The Scan' the next day and it could have gone one of two ways, but hoping for the best way.
There are just so many reminders, such as my multipack bag of Cheese and Onion crisps under my desk. I don't even like C&O crisps, but was craving them. I now don't like them again so gave them to my colleague. The ginger biscuits in my desk tidy still staring at me now.

I really do feel like those beautiful weeks with my little baby were just a dream... I wonder if I will only ever have dreams from now on

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 12/12/2018 10:34

@Rachyrach83 sorry I've no experience with HCG levels. I ^am wondering about HCG levels being connected to my temps though.
I am now 13 days post op and have had a big steep drop the past two days. If your HSG has dropped that much in 10 days then I'm sure you will be back at zero very soon. Maybe even today?

OP posts:
Rachyrach83 · 12/12/2018 10:40

@frazzlerock
I thought that too... gp seems to think it will be weeks more.... I’m starting to think she isn’t very clued up on this!! She was very shocked it had fallen so dramatically and was dismissive about me ovulating soon too saying ‘it could be weeks’ Confused

Frazzlerock · 12/12/2018 10:50

Problem is @Rachyrach83, she's a GP, not an expert. You probably know more about it than she does, just from researching online and getting first hand experiences from others.
I wouldn't worry about it, it is going in the right direction and fast too.
In ten days it went down by about 32,806. Divided that by ten gives you 3,280 drop per day. I've no idea if it drops in that way, but I reckon you'll be clear by now or at least over next few days. I would expect ovulation to be more delayed than usual, but keep having sex every other day (that is what we are aiming for) and you might just catch the egg.
Have you ever tried temping? It gives you a good idea of what is going on if you do it properly and have no underlying issues like PCOS - I think only Ovusense works for PCOS but it is expensive. If you don't have any issues, then by a cheap basal body thermometer. Just a thought. Like @twinkle it might help you to get an idea of what is going on

Oh we can compare charts. Mine has done pretty much the same thing as yours (except mine is in celsius). I'll show you mine....

OP posts:

Your big drop was CD10 - CD12
Mine has been CD11 - CD13

Morning everyone, had some really shit news last night, family dog has leukaemia. DM & DSF need to decide to go ahead with a blood transfusion which will prolong her life slightly, as opposed to cure, but trying to work out what the kindest option is. Today I feel like someone has put bricks in my "rucksack."
Had a mammoth cry last night - about everything - and did feel a bit better for it.
I just feel like something like this would be easier to deal with if I was pregnant still... I said this to DH and he looked at me a bit strange. Sounds ridiculous, but I would just be able to think to myself, "this is really shit, but I have to stay strong for my little bump." Now I've got nothing to be strong for.
We're off to Prague tomorrow for a long weekend so hoping that will lift things up.

@rachy I have absolutely no idea when it comes to HCG levels, I'm really sorry. As Frazzle said, you probably know more about this than we do, from researching.

@Frazzlerock, I know exactly what you mean. I have a cupboard full of Jaffacakes. I do like jaffas but I just can't bring myself to eat them knowing they were mini showjumpers favourite snack Sad

All a bit negative nancy over here today - sorry ladies....!

Rose68 · 12/12/2018 11:13

Morning Ladies

@Rachyrach83 I also have no experience of hcg levels, but I agree with Frazzle, although I would expect it to drop massively to start with and then tail off at the end. But I would expect it would be zero very soon.

@Tinselbee I got EWCM about 11 days after the op, but if you were already bleeding it’s possible your hcg levels had started to drop before. Also, I’m so sorry to hear it took you 12 months to conceive.

@Frazzlerock here is a list of what I am taking....
Pregnancare conception (thinking about changing this)
Ubiquinol and pqq (I think the pqq helps the ubiquinol work better which is why I haven’t upped my dose to 300)
Dhea (this is a hormone and isn’t suitable for everyone, I’m not sure if it’s suitable if you have PCOS)
Oil of evening primrose
paba
Vitamin D (spray form is best as it absorbs better 1000mg)
Royal jelly
Bee propolis
Vitamin c
Ferroglobin (iron supplement with b vits and folic acid)

We both also took maca root last time which I havent restarted yet.
I do rattle 😁

I had quite bad shoulder pain in my left shoulder when I was pregnant, and I can still feel it. I’m beginning to wonder if it will ever go. Although at the moment I have pains around my shoulder blades so that is masking it atm. I also had hot feet last night and I have a stuffy nose, both of which I had in the tww, but I feel like I have pmt which I definitely didn’t have, and that was the main thing that made me think I was preggers. I am really trying not to have pmt but it’s definitely there, I really yelled at my boys this morning and now I feel terrible for having done that 😞

My boys break up from school in 40 mins, so much to do and so little time! Must dash! xxx

Rachyrach83 · 12/12/2018 11:23

Oh yes they do look similar!! That’s reassuring!

In regards to supplements I have been told 3mg of melatonin is great for improving egg quality ... it’s also a great cure for insomnia! I’ve been taking it for 3 nights and slept like a hibernating hedgehog!!

Frazzlerock · 12/12/2018 11:47

Oh @ratherbe what a shitty time for you. I know exactly what you mean about being pregnant making these things easier. I really hope you are both able to have fun in Prague. I'd love to go.

@Rose I remember you said you has shoulder pain on the ante-natal thread and we all said it sounded like you'd pulled it? What on earth could it be? Your boys break up so early! When do they go back? My two don't break up until next Weds - we are in Kent though, and not private, not sure if that makes a difference?
Thank you for your list of drugs Grin. I am intrigued by all of them. Do you know the doses of each? Also where is best to buy? Holland and Barratt? Or a more specialised place/website? I am actually taking Feroglobinm but stopped when pregnant as was worried I'd OD on vitamins with the Pregnacare Max as well (not sure if possible to OD but didn't want to take the risk). I get quite anemic so have to take it. I find I can get quite breathless if I stop.
How did you discover all those?

@Rachy I've just downloaded FF and entered my deets and my chart is basically the same as yours! Interesting about melatonin. Can you just buy that? I thought it was prescribed? I know a few of my friends with ASD children use it for their children to help them to sleep, but they were prescribed by specialists.

This is where I got it from
I brought the 3mg tablets

Just in Tesco getting some coq10 tablets.... would go for the dearer one mentioned but I’ve spent a fortune since my MMC and DH is getting a bit ratty as we conceived without any of it last time so thinks I’m wasting money

Frazzlerock · 12/12/2018 14:33

Thanks @Rachyrach83

I've placed an order for Ubiquinol and evening primrose oil. I think I'll stick with those until payday and read up some more about melatonin.

I am currently hiding under my hoody at my desk with my earphones in and music on full blast. My colleague who is pregnant is in today and she is so loud and always talks about baby stuff. I loved it when I was pregnant. But really couldn't be around her before and now I can't tolerate her again.
She was really friendly when I was pregnant and we spoke loads. She hasn't spoken to me at all today. I realise she may feel awkward but rather than than have a dead baby, surely!?
I can't wait to leave today, thankfully I'm going in 2 mins as DS2 has a tennis lesson.

I hope she's not in tomorrow....

(yes I know I'm unreasonable but I honestly don't care today)

OP posts:
Rachyrach83 · 12/12/2018 14:42

@frazzlerock
You and I are so similar!!
I’ve extended my sick note as the woman who sits opposite me is going on maternity leave on Friday and I struggled to tolerate all the sighing and belly-rubbing before so now I think I’ll lose it!! Thank god I’ll have 9 months rid of her when I go back.

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/12/2018 15:39

Think I may need to up my game.... I feel awful looking at these lists. The only thing I've been taking is folic acid!

TinselBee · 12/12/2018 15:42

Afternoon all, had a manic day. Nursery photos, allergy check ups for DS and then my legal team phoned me regarding that car incident I had. Interestingly, my legal team reckons we will be able to claim against the prick that pulled out on me regards to the miscarriage as the dates of stopped growth match up to the car crash. Really would rather a baby than all that money but I guess at least I'll be able to treat my DS to a nice holiday next year.

Also... been bleeding brown blood today?! Had no bleeding or spotting prior Sunday but now brown blood?

Frazzle and Rachy my chart looks similar to that too with the massive temp drop today.

What makes you ladies take these supplements btw? I was big on taking a lot during pregnancy with DS to help with stuff, e.g. primrose oil to help with dilation and rose essence to help my SPD

TinselBee · 12/12/2018 15:43

Ratherbe that's how I feel too haha. I'd only been taking folic acid but then I tried Seven Seas Trying for a baby pills and fell pregnant with the one I just lost. Taking Pregnacare this time (mum bought them otherwise would have been the seven seas ones again)

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/12/2018 16:56

I might have to look into this whole new world of pills just another thing to obsess over Grin
I've had a bit of a google and everything I've read has said not to take primrose oil whilst pg?
